Well since it's becoming clear that shit will go down with regards to NK, how would you do it?
Make sure THAAD's up and running properly in South Korea.
Just happen to leave a few missile intercept systems lying around in Japan too. Or just help them develop an equivalent of their own, somewhat under the table.
Give Beijing a little hint that now might be a good time to finally get officially fed up with Kim. Leave them plenty of room to tell their home front how instrumental they were in taking down this dangerous madman.
Amass all the naval and air assets possible.
Then strike fats, strike HARD, and pray like hell you can blow up enough of their shit that Seoul makes it through relatively unharmed.
Forget to take THAAD with you home afterwards. Get a new Marshal plan going.

France recently adopt the HK416, what does /k/ thinks if that ? Should have they keeped the FAMAS or update it ?
>>33677198
>Should have they keeped the FAMAS or update it ?
Dear god no, the thing was nice and all, but nowadays it is an antique, internals are complex and a pain to take care of, spare parts are overly rare and/or terribly overpriced by fucking Beretta , and it is simply and outdated design as a whole.
I'm just salty about our guys leaving the bullpup cool kids bandwagon, but other than that, between its ergonomics, larger mags, reliability, etc. it will allow our infantry to be much much more shooty.
Pic somewhat related, apparently from the evaluation of the VHS-2. I wish we got that sexy Helgan rifle.
>>33677198
In 30 years no on except China and maybe Russia will not being using a AR type rifle.
>>33677298
I bet China sooner or later replace its type 97 most likely with AR type rifle.
Britfag here, I can't buy guns so can I get good recommendations for BB Guns?

Just buy one with a 12" barrel and that counter-weight that makes it 24" OAL.

You can buy guys you lazy piece of shit

So, I'm going to build the most /arg/ AR around. Instead of rolling for parts. I'll do a series of straw polls. To keep the polls from becoming meaningless I'll curate them to a maximum of 5 entrys. To expedite the process, the gun will have a freefloated barrel.
First off, let's start with:
Caliber:

Barrel Length:
http://www.strawpoll.me/12767207
Barrel Profile:

Also, I'm requesting entry's to the poll. Feel free to suggest the following:
Hand guard
Upper
Stock
Flashlight
Grip
Optic
i hate ARs so much.

NODs when?
Post battle scenes or fights in movies that you think are both /k/ and cool as fuck, this may not be my favorite but I don't know who on /k/ has scene it so i'll open with this.

Why are night club shootouts so aesthetic?

That moment when he kills the tall guy that steps out of the water is so satisfying.
Also seperates people who know something about guns from people who don't.

Why are Athenians such faggots?

Daily reminder that emperor Tiberius is indeed /our guy/
3 of these fuckers are using my parents deck as a roost. Shitting everywhere. Pecking on the window while we're eating. Hissing at anyone who dares to go outside (which no one does now) and have absolutely no fucking fear of humans.
Best gun to remove these things? I'm tempted to just use my CZ 455 and go for a headshot. The house is in a semipopulated area, so I'm a little leery of using anything too fuckhuge and I'm going for precision to mimimize collateral damage/risk.
My available options are SKS, Yugo M48, K31, Garand, Rem 870, Sub2000, CZ455, 10/22 and a pistol in each of the major calibers.)
I don't hunt so I have no idea what the best thing to take these fuckers would be, I just know I'd rather not use birdshot since that is more likely to damage the deck.
I wouldn't give a shit about vultures but these ones aren't even having the decency to show some basic fear of man, and frankly I'm not willing to risk them attacking the toddlers or small animals at my parent's house.
Or should I just go get a baseball bat and skip the gun altogether.
What would /k/ use?
>>33675176
10/22
>>33675176
shotgun with birdshot
if they survive, beat them to death with a shovel
>>33675176
If you're worried about collateral damage and noise, just get a high powered pellet gun.
How would you have a universal carry license?
Here's what I would do:
Federal Carry
>US citizen for longer than 2 years
>Strict, intended to be the highest standard and unquestionable
>Minimum age: 21 for civilians, 18 for police, military, firefighters concealed and everyone open.
>Annual competency tests including break down, reassembly, accuracy, speed, and under pressure. No exceptions. Must be able to hit within 2 inches at 15m.
>Psych/Mental health evaluation
>No violent felonies
>Must attend training course initially, refresher is part of the competency test (which is held at the end).
State Carry
>Up to the state. Intended to be determined individually.
Federal Carry overrides State Carry. If they cannot attain the high standard of Federal, the state may say that they cannot carry or provide standards they consider reasonable, but they must honor Federal if it's earned.
Abuse of Federal results in never being able to get one again. Forging one also permanently disqualifies. Impersonating police, firefighter, or military member permanently disqualifies from both Federal and State.
>>33675149
Here's how you do universal carry:
Buy a gun. Carry it.
>>33675163
Yeah, but a way to not get fucked in the ass when in a commie state and you get involved in a good shoot.
Holy fuck /k/ is slow. What happened? I've been gone for a few years and this board's basically empty. Did they all migrate to another board?
So if i clamp it in a solid vice and shoot it, it wont cycle, right?
wrong
>>33675002
Other way around- if you fired it in an unsupported rig it would not cycle.
>>33675420
>>33675016
But look at this gif, if the gun doesn't move it wont cycle, right?
how accurate is this /k/?

Guns don't have any sort of moral inclination, they're just inanimate objects.
Hello /k/
I'm not a lurker here nor do I know a great deal about weapons. I'm from the United Kingdom and I own some woodland, i'm looking to get my 16 yr old son a air rifle just for target shooting on the land. Could anyone suggest a really good model for £70-£150? I know many of you may wonder why I just don't get him a real rifle. But, here in the United Kingdom it is a rabbit hole of joining clubs and licenses that I really don't have time for nor the money to join clubs.
>>33674279
bump
>>33674279
I have a Ruger Blackhawk, which is a nice little single-shot air rifle you can get for about 60 British bucks. Fires accurately, comes with a scope (usually), and will eat pellets just fine.
>>33674279
Not sure what's available over there.
Back here I have one of the larger Gamo break barrel pellet rifles. It's alright, but if you use the lightweight high performance ammo, it makes a sonic crack and it's pretty unpleasant after a few shots.
I'd like to check out one of the gas spring powered ones, but I don't want to buy one just to check it out.
in light of celeveland shooter thinking of way to make improvise slencer for defense and was wondering if cobb corn would work? stick on on end of barrel looks like it would dampen it enough and when done throw it away no proof, or eat it. plus need another drive by a cobb corn field and crab a few shucs
>make popcorn in one easy step
>>33674039
>throw it away no proof, or eat it.
Yeah shoot someone and eat some corn on the cob. Sounds legit. Bring butter.
for tactical advantage
It's happening, they're coming to the US. Vickers Tactical just got hands on the newest battle rifle.

What does /k/ think?
>>33674022
Lawl naw.
That vickers homo is a raging dickbag too, anything he touches can fuck off.
>>33674022
>What does /k/ think?
Same issues as the 5.56x45 ones (but it's mostly nitpicking):
- Somewhat front heavy in design (though less so than a 550).
- Somewhat outdated design which limits modularity (usually need to add too much weight to make modular).
- Mounted optic can interfere with easy charging handle manipulation.
- The stock hinge and takedown pin placement can interfere with quick safety/selector manipulation as a lefty.
Otherwise? Good to go.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4414446/Russian-warships-escorted-English-Channel.html
So, day ago Russian again sailed right thru English Channel.
It not first time they do so.
So, I have a question, what can be done about it? Why can't we just turn them around? They literally can't park their ships near Portsmouth, and blast half of RN out of the water.
>>33673822
Fucking Russians violating international waters again. Moron.
>>33673834

Russians and see above.
>They literally can't park their ships near Portsmouth, and blast half of RN out of the water.
MAD and mutual agreements.
