Has anyone been recording Yoshi's current stream? It's been going for a while and I missed the bits I wanted to see.
I missed yesterday's stream too :/

don't japanese people tend to use old-ass software as long as it gets the job done?

Wow, it sure is awesome being smart. You should try it some time.

I intrinsically knew it was a sarcastic gesture to denote a belief of doubt. I'm too intelligent for you.
Fool.
Sumimasen, demo your IQ seems to be around 100 to 110. Your power level is too low to face me.
how the fuck do you make stuff look super smooth like this?

This one look like :
Download design doll, create a doll, copy paste in your favorite drawing software. Then you blur a little your model or trace it.
:^)
But >>2879871 is right. Pic related.
How many of ya'll d/ic/ks use Sketchup as part of your usual workflow?
Do you think there's something better? Do you bother getting a decent render in Vray or some other renderer, or do you not bother since you're going to paint over it anyway?
>>2879815
Blender Cycles, free soft and looks quite good.
>>2879815
moi is better, sketchup kinda blows now.
for rendering, if you're so trash at perspective that you need 3D as an underlay and also you need to plan ur lighting setup in 3D just stop. hit the books and improve both before incorporating 3D into your 2D work.
>>2880381
I recently realized that I'm being kind of retarded NOT using 3d for some interrelated scenes. I'd kind of prefer not to use it at all, but when I'm going to need several angles of the same several buildings, it seems like a massive waste of time not using simple 3d to skip much of the perspective work. I don't plan on using any lighting in this 3d shit, I assume rendering programs are kind of their own skill set and would take dedication to get anything remotely useful out of it, and I'm not interested in becoming a "3d artist" just using 3d to save some time. My questions come from curiosity in how other artists use 3d in their workflows.
I'll check out Moi, thanks.

And no, I'm not listening to this ironically, and I don't go on /mu/.
Trying to create some sort of alien spider/scorpian centaur-lady.
But I cannot for the fuck of me figure out how to attach the legs in such a way that would be sexy. The way I usually draw lasses is pictured right, with tits, hips, and thighs for days. Trying to attach that to something that doesn't have hips is annoying.
Also Oddworld Scrabs are awesome and the reason I want to draw this lady-thing. Their legs are weapons of spinning death.

I've wanted to get into stenciling. What's your method for creating a stencil, and carrying it to a spot without being conspicuous?
Anyone care to rate my first few paintings?

Hey /ic/ Any tutorials on how to draw head in different angles. I can't seem to understand how to draw a head in 3/4 looking up.

Loomis you faggot
more like any programs
Just avoid it. Never draw heads in that position. Thats what modern masters do
>be very good painter
>lock myself in a room for months
>start painting like a five year old
Scratch that, worse than a five year old.
Why was this guy famous again? Irony?
Consider the possibility that he was never actually a good painter
>paint like a five year old
>lock myself in a room for months
>continue painting like a five year old
It's really quite a shit story

He was like 12 years old when he mastered academic painting, wtf are you on about. Anyways when he went abstract, he didn't forget about composition and that's all that really matters.

If I were you I'd download a Life RPG app on your phone and make it so that one of your "missions" or "quests" for the day is to spend 1 hr ONLY drawing and when you do that you get experience etc.
or if you're too lazy for that just write it on a piece of paper and put it on your doors and have a check box for the day and make sure you check it off at least once that day or something along those lines, gives more of a reason or urgency to do it

Does anyone know who's the artist behind Twisted Metal 2?
The artstyle is VERY familiar but I just can't put my finger on it, who it might be.
reminds me of something like older Spawn comics
How do I find out about this pencil drawing I have? It is 1830s Caernarfon Castle. On the back is the initials E.P. Found in an antique shop.
>>2880532
Are you sure it's pancil and not some sort of silver gelatin print?
Anyway, that's a sexy composition for some no-name artist. Maybe find a fine prints dealer.
>>2880555
Not sure, I wouldn't think so . The only other info I have is that the paper is watermarked 1829.
Because we should not have to make new threads or post in draw threads with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
AVOID asking unrelated questions, there is a question thread for that.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

>Thread study: Try to draw/paint the opening or any other following images.
Feel free to post your original works as well if you're trash.
TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.
