this has been posted on /ic/ before, still
i'm in awe of this dude, I almost feel compelled to buy it just cause the illustrations are so good.
80-90% of the illustrations like above we're probably done entirely without reference. even though most of the illustrations are sketch-like, he experiments with more extreme poses and angles than loomis/bridgman.

What art program do Japanese animation houses use to create their work?
I might be over-complicating it, but it seems like a combination of frame-by-frame animation (in PS/Sai), Toonboom (for easily tweened pieces), and Maya (for CG).

Can you guys help me figure out an artist name under which I'll be drawing shit?
The emphasis on the alias is the letter "R" which I use to sign images
But just the letter "R" alone doesn't feel fulfilling enough when trying to implement it on websites, or making a specific e-mail account for it.
So what can I use to boost the length of the simple signature and use it as an alternative whenever needed?
here's a few examples I've thought of:
