i kinda wanna rewatch daria now
Whats the time frame between them?

Six years
this has been posted on /ic/ before, still
i'm in awe of this dude, I almost feel compelled to buy it just cause the illustrations are so good.
80-90% of the illustrations like above we're probably done entirely without reference. even though most of the illustrations are sketch-like, he experiments with more extreme poses and angles than loomis/bridgman.
Those drawings look terrible like wtf? There are a lot of issues with the proportions and anatomy
um is this it? https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://jzbtsg.blog.163.com/blog/static/43048050201342823046959/&prev=search

a stupid question

Portraits of photos of celebrities because you want that sweet, sweet likes/favorites is cancer.
There's a clear distinction between that and just doing portraits.
>>2883319
To add on to this, it's extra cancer when it's not even done in an interesting way but rather focuses on either trying to be a human photocopy machine or trying to put in a lot of trendy superficial things, which at the moment is stuff like blurs and filters.
>>2883358
XD i knoe just the person ... its awesome portraits but like running a fucking sketching filter on ps over their photos, and she can feel the sadness at some level but ..Cancer ... i suggested to her to stop that but whom I to dictate what tedious peeps do for their ocd?
What art program do Japanese animation houses use to create their work?
I might be over-complicating it, but it seems like a combination of frame-by-frame animation (in PS/Sai), Toonboom (for easily tweened pieces), and Maya (for CG).
>>2880937
some make their own and never release it to the public. small studios buy licenses from celsys for programs like clip studio and retas, but in most cases they use their own if its a big studio.
>>2880937
One studio i knew drew frames on paper, scanned it and used some celsys software to add colors tweens and stuff
Paper and pencil
Honestly, it various but in the long run it doesn't matter since it's only used for clean up. With CG, it's mainly autodesk stuff.
If you've never been mentally ill your art will always be bland and meaningless. You'll never be able to convey emotion deeper than the puddle on my driveway because you've never experienced it. It's time to face it, all REAL great works of art were made by mentally unstable people for a reason.
If you've been mentally healthy your entire life you might as well give up instead of producing your menial and meaningless normie-tier garbage art.
It'll be forgotten anyway.
it's not edgy to be ill. get cured already.

Hello there, /ic/
what can you tell me about this "painting"?
found it in my grandfather's attic.
>>2886748
It's cursed. Burn it to end that persons immortality.
>>2886757
it certainly looks pretty haunting

Looks like some amateur painter copying Michelangelo
Hey guys, I got a new song out. Was hoping to get some feedback on it.
Listen to bobos song wav.wav by Cody Jacob Simms #np on #SoundCloud

Haha funny yellow face man
I need an artwork that depicts the constant search of men for proof of God's existence. I have been searching for ages and this is for school, so all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Try all manner of psychedelic artwork. Many users of psychedelics claim deeply spiritual experiences, some even interpret their experiencing or meeting god, the godhead, etc.
There is a wealth of psychedelic art which tries to convey the psychedelic experience. Alex Grey of course...
Thanks to both of you, but I meant something more like this but without actual ghostbusters http://commonsenseatheism.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/ghostbusters-jesus-2.png
Just finished this quick piece.
Can I pls get some godforsaken critique?
>>2885379
yes.
stop using the sharpen tool.
that's all i have to give. the rest will cost you.
>>2885379
Looks cool but her right tiddy/+area is all flat and wierd
>>2885379
The nose is weird, torso is too short.
Aside from that, composition, lighting and color are good.
Study anatomy or use moar references.
Hello /ic/, anyone tie dye? I know this might better fit in fashion, but those emo ninjas don't really care about color. I had a few posts in the thread, but it wasn't very engaging. This is my artwork!
bump
one more bump for now
Can you guys help me figure out an artist name under which I'll be drawing shit?
The emphasis on the alias is the letter "R" which I use to sign images
But just the letter "R" alone doesn't feel fulfilling enough when trying to implement it on websites, or making a specific e-mail account for it.
So what can I use to boost the length of the simple signature and use it as an alternative whenever needed?
here's a few examples I've thought of:
>R.Style
>Kami R.
Also I don't want it to sound too edgy.
I need a bit of a leg up because I am bad at making decisions, so please help me.
no?

clever girl
>2D will be irrelevant in the future. 90% of the established studios already use 3D programs for their concepts
Is this true?
>>2880989
No and no one said this either so don't falsely present your shitty bait as if it is a quote of someone else.
>>2880989
Bait, but who cares about concept art even if it was real quote? Cocnept art = fastfood of art world.
