Hi /g/!
Can someone recomend me a good program for a full disk encryption other than TrueCrypt and VeraCrypt?
I want to encrypt windows 7 boot drive of my laptop but i get "drive corrupted" error each time i try to do it with true or veracrypt.
At this point i reformated and encrypted multiple times, with pim, with recovery disk, only with password and each time i get the same error.
I can't use bitlocker since i run w7 pro.
Anon suggested that i should run cdm and cdi to check if my ssd is in fact corrupted so that will be posted below.
I don't belive the drive is actually corupted becouse unencrypted w7 installs run file and i installed mint with built-in encryption and that booted up fine too.

Hello /g/,
I recently broke my laptop screen and bought an external monitor for it, therefore I am no longer able to bring it with me everywhere,
so I was thinking about getting a netbook for that purpose.

Considering I will be using it very sparingly and just for surfing the net and for trading (MT4 platform), which one would be a good economical choice?

And this particular morning/afternoon/evening the drinks were going down as nectar… somewhere around nine, flushed and afire, after I had closed my tab for the fourth time and about to order a driver, a seaman walked into my field of vision.

Anyone can help me identify what happened to my bravia kdl tv? I was trying to search by using terms like light bleeding and clouding but there was nothing that looked like this.

As in pic 2 'V' shaped illuminations appeared, they look like they protrude from the frame and i dont know what could caus this?faulty led lighting?strain from use? This is mostly visible with vivid background clolors like white/green/yellow etc, fades with black. Does warranty cover things like this?

Hey /t/. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to computers. I am trying to learn python but im still not really that good. I want to be able to just like look at the inside of a computer and know what is going on. Like i have no idea about what someone can do with your ip even though i hear its a massive deal. Wtf is pen testing? I want to know how hacking actually works. To me it seems like an impossible task. Is it possible to convert my hp pavillion 15 into a desktop with a case? What does the motherboard even do? Where should i go to stop being so autistic? Online courses? I'm really not sure. Help pls

Now that 2015 USB 3.0 is actually 2017 USB 3.1 Gen 1, 2015 USB 3.1 is actually 2017 USB 3.1 Gen 2, and Thunderbolt 3 uses the same connection as these previous two (literally all three of these facts are apples fault), how do I figure out what my USB port is? The manual says "USB 3.1" which doesn't mean jack shit to anybody now
Why don't manufacturers just say 5Gbps, 10Gbps, and Thunderbolt 3 instead of all this ambiguous bullshit kicked off by the 2015 MacBook?
