Any other Aus anons here getting their NBN shut off from 2300 to 0600?
I don't know what to do without internet during that time desu, since that's when I'm awake during the day.
And I don't have nearly enough mobile data to use for 7 hours worth of internet browsing like I do on my computer.
Anyways, let's have an NBN thread and talk about how shit it is.
Fuck off cunt at least you have NBN. Try paying for the top speed or get the gigabit pack cunt.
>>59144957
Gigabit pack? What's that?
Anyways, I've got the 100Mbps/50Mbps version, but desu it's still pretty shit compared to the rest of the world.
>socialist big government running the internet
Client asked for the vector file and I provided them with the .ai and the PDF but they're still not satisfied. Are they retarded in thinking they need something with a .vector extension or am I retarded and missing something here?
Pic unrelated I don't have the logo I made on my phone.

im not sure but maybe:

>>59143830

Shouldnt you know whats expected before you offer that sort of shit orrrrrrrrrr?
>>59143852
My bottle shop boss wanted me to design a logo for him because he's opening a restaurant. He's getting my design printed but now the sign making guy is telling me I need the vector file.
Why is my laptop so fucking slow?
I thought restoring to factory settings would make it a lot faster. it didn't.
In the task manager it says my CPU usage is from 3%-15% usually, but physical memory is always > 90%. I think this is the issue but im not sure.
Pic related is the task manager, but idk what is important and what is not. Please help me bros
>>59142993
>10 year old meme OS
>wonders why laptop is slow
rly meks u fink
install Ubuntu you fucking babbie and call it a day
>>59142993
Install more RAM. You're probably swapping like a bitch to your shitty HDD amd it's slowing your computer down.
So it looks like physical memory refers to RAM which is almost definitely my problem here.
How can I clean this up? is there a program or something that is useful?
When will captchas die?
>>59142668
When AI intelligence surpasses human intelligence.
If you were on 4chan shortly before Captcha was implemented, you'd know why it's here and still here.
>>59142680
I'm not talking about 4chan in general and no, I've been here long enough since /jp/ was still called Japan General.
>not using legacy captcha on 4chan
Anyone else think Zen/Vega APUs are going to completely kill Intel's low end?
>>59142311
When are they going to come out?
They appear to be killing the middle end, which is where they make the most money.
>>59142331
Not sure
Like laptops being released to consumers? Probably Q1 2018 at latest

FORK OPENBSD IN RUST
>>59142068
I've wanted to run NetBSD on some older systems but there's nothing it really offers me that I don't already have on the operating systems they were made to run.
>>59142068
If OpenBSD would run on my laptop I would use it.
macOS 10 Sierra is objectively superior and there is no reason to use Windows 10 over it.
Finally did the switch from Windows 10 and it feels great guys.
macOS + any Linux Distro > win10 + any Linux Distro
Nice blog, Mr Reddit-spacer.
So? My turds are better than Windows 10. Of course it would be better than W10. What isn't?
>buy an iMac
>reformat system with TempleOS iso
How do we solve the problem with industrial stuff relying on old technology?
Image related might be a bad example, but Windows CE based shit is certainly used in real factories.
>>59141315
open source and open hardware
>>59141315
basically its a non issue because it's set and forget. you're not constantly updating anything on that software. its not like anything needs to be added at any point so if it works why fuck with it,
machines fail from mechanical or sensor errors.
at least this is what i saw from the two factories i worked at.

I feel like industrial stuff is the only thing that hasn't been ruined
Holy shit. HP is based.
>>59141156
Just because you stopped for a day doesn't mean you can start spamming shill threads about this piece of shit laptop again.
>HP
I just discovered that in their BIOS you can select something like "allow fans to stop"
Shit runs on passive cooling most of the time. Super quiet.

This is why you don't go to any of that "hackathon" or "coding bootcamps"
Its just SJWs all the way down and Jews looking for free labour

post the website then. post the results of the contest. link to a pastebin of your scope.

It's because you're dualbooting Windows. Set Linux to use localtime and just let Windows do it's thing.

Already tried: change thermal paste, check motherboard, clean fan, update bios, install gentoo. Before that it was 122°C.

There's your problem
Replace heatsink.
Encrypted password storage. Any of you use it? Things like PasswordSafe.
If so, why? If not, why not?
>>59140213
I use KeePass. You should use a password manager, but not cloud solutions like LastPass. Using things like that is just asking to be buttfucked.
>>59140213
keepass. it's popular, it works, and its had a code audit.
