I actually don't autohide my dock, and it's not even set particularly small (it could be half the size and still work fine. I keep it because
* It's actually quite useful
* It's on a 1440p monitor so it's not a huge chunk of the pie
* I have three monitors
* It's trivial to hide it or use fullscreen if I truly absolutely need the few extra lines of space.

If I were using a laptop with no external screens, I would have to use it differently. But on my huge desktop, it's fine.

Non user friendly UI (really outdated), it's a Windows program ported for macOS, so it doesn't conform to macOS' design guidelines. And on macOS there are better alternatives like Transit and CyberDuck. FileZilla is a program only people who came from Windows use.
