So /fit/, my grandama is a doctor. She has aways helped me with everything, specially health related stuff. When she learned about my interest in fitness, and lifting to develop muscle mass, she was quick to respond, saying I shouldnt lift, do pull ups, push ups, or anything that aplies extreme tension. Besides from showing me several pages (some contradictory and obviously stupid, some actually reasonable), providing me with her medical knowledge, had one argument that really got me thinking :

Would you rather be a fat manlet struggling with 10lbs weights for months without any progress, or a fat manlet doing 5lbs or less for a week or two and then being able to do 10lbs+ when you're ready?
If you really cared enough about what people think of you to get embarrassed by stupid shit like that, then you never would have become a fat manlet to begin with. Lift what you can and eat right, results will come in time as long as you're consistent and smart. Just like they do for everyone else.

Recently, Ive has an issue where ive been coughing up blood and ive had a bloody nose on the inside. It hasnt been an active cough in that ive been wanting to cough, coughing involuntarily or resisting coughing rather whenever i do cough, be it to cleanse my mouth or for whatever other reason, there happens to be blood. Similarly, if i sneeze then there is blood and should i blow my nose then there is also blood yet I have not been sneezing more, feeling an urge to sneeze or even had irritation.
I have actually felt of good health recently. My diet is good and, while i dont work out properly or in a body building sense, i have been exercising more (it is nothing more than cardio, body weight and dumbbell exercises. I am not a /fit/izen but i feel as though this is the most appropriate board for this topic). I dont suppose anybody could shed some light on this issue.
