How exactly is hitting the same muscle from a different angle supposed to stimulate growth in a certain area of it?

Incline benching uses more anterior delts and tris, but that muh upper chest stuff is bullshit.

>Upper chest is bullshit
>Proceeds to post a picture outlining different muscles in the pectoralis

It's exactly the same as the difference between anterior, lateral, and rear delts. Each head performs a different function. Your upper pec is utilize more when doing transverse shoulder flexion at an incline.

What you're thinking would apply to the "lower" pec as if implying there's a mid pec as well.

Just tried overnight oats for the first time, also my first experience eating oats
This is basically wet dog food, holy shit it's awful
Recipe I used was something like
>1C milk
>1tbsp PB2
>1/2 tsp cocoa powder
>.5C or 120ish g Greek yogurt
>1/8 tsp vanilla extract
>1 tbsp chia seed
>Can't remember how much oats, I think it was like 1/2 or 3/4 C of rolled oats
>1 packet stevia
I have all these oats, how do I cook them to make them bearable

I just throw some steel cut in the microwave and dabble some cinnamon on them and wash it down with 2 scoops. 600 Cals till I have a smoothie late morning.

You don't eat oats because they taste good even though I enjoy them with my plain white man taste buds.

Anyone else here try water fasting?

Day 4, keeping hydrated with electrolytes and vitamins, first 48 hours felt hunger but not terrible. Now my hunger is gone, I have a lot of energy, and a feeling of not wanting to sit around and instead get shit done. A VERY alien feeling for a ham-planet.

Why didn't I try this shit sooner?

Good job, OP. Stop if you don't feel well. I wouldn't do more than 5 days without a doctor's supervision, but if you have no preexisting conditions, you should be fine for a while longer.

You can check your blood pressure at a grocery store or pharmacy. If it gets too low, stop. You might want to add Morton'sâ„¢ Lite Salt, which has potassium to your supplements. And maybe Natural Calm Magnesium powder. Though under two weeks the nutrients stored in your body will probably suffice.

What is your height/weight/bf%? What is your goal with fasting? Good luck.

>After 15 weeks, it was the 6-day group who made the fastest progress. On average, strength gains in the big three moves – the bench press, deadlift and squat – were roughly twice as great as those seen in the 3-day group

Have I been lifting wrong all these years?

It's simple really.

more work = more results
>>
>>41400547
No, it says right there that working until you are painful with drop sets to exhaustion is not the way to do it. One set of every muscle group 6 times a week produces twice the gains.

So no leg day until you can't walk up the stairs.

I am 6ft.1in, weigh around 115 pounds and am 17 years old. I have been on the road to self improvement for a while now, but while all of the other aspects have been attainable, gaining weight and then muscle has not.
No matter how much I eat, I can't seem to gain weight. Last summer I even ate 2 Mcdonalds meals a day for a fortnight and still didn't gain anything, and when I'm eating healthily (Balanced meals; Chicken, Rice & Veggies) nothing changes.
What do? I heard that I shouldn't start lifting until I have put on weight, is that true or should I just start lifting now? I read the sticky but it doesn't really cover this.

you're not eating enough, simple

Eat more calorie dense food like nuts, avocados etc
>>
>>41399787
I eat my 3 meals though.
Normal day looks like:
Breakfast: Cinnamon roll
Snack: Another cinnamon roll, they're tasty as fuck
Lunch: Katsu Curry or Chicken, Rice & Veggies
Afternoon Snack: Fruit like rose apples, watermelon or kiwi fruit
Dinner: Either: Rice, Fish, Chicken stir fry with vegetables. Or: Roast chicken & Rice.

Should I just start eating a shed load of almonds? Last time I ate a lot of nuts it made my acne go insane :\

First of all this fast/slow metabolism shit is bs, stop making dumbass excuses. Download myfitnesspal or a different calorie tracker and set your calories for a surplus. If you keep it uo then you'll gain weight, but if you keep saying "ohh fuckkkkk i have a fast metabomism so i cant gaiiin weight ohh" then fuck off.

Hello /fit/

If you have a second would you mind telling me roughly how much weight I need to lose in order not to look so fat.

In the picture on the left I was 232lbs. In the picture on the right (taken today) I am 200lbs. My aim is to get to 175lbs or lower if I still look fat.

Would you mind sharing your opinon on when you think I'd look okay.
