Okay, so im new to working out but im not in it to look ripped or any gay shit like that. Im jist doing basics like push ups, sit ups, squats, runs, jumping jacks, ect ect. Im skinny but still out of shape and trying to get IN shape. Will what im doing work? what sort of diet will I need? does this need to be an everyday thing? I dont want lift weights or anything. I justbwant my body to be in shape. Please help i am simply a scrub.

I've been lifting for 2 months + cardio + good diet and I've made noticeable difference in my body. I look and feel a lot better.

My question is, will I eventually get a hug from a girl if I continue on my lifting path? 28 yr old virgin who has never held hands with a girl nor hugged one outside my family, just curious if I'm going to make it.

Hey /fit/ my girl just broke it off with me and I'm torn apart, how do you guys deal with break ups? It will take some time but you'll recover. She isn't worth your time or energy. No matter who you marry or settle down with there will always be a better match for you out in the world. There are too many females on this planet to get hung up on one who didn't even want to be with you. You're too good for her and if she doesn't want you in her life that is her problem, not yours. Focus on yourself and improve in every area you can. When she sees you doing this and notices what she lost she will regret it. Never take her back though, you're better than that.

I've been working out for 4 months now and don't feel like I've made any significant gains. If anything I feel flabbier. I was making tremendous gains in the first month, but I've completely plateaued. This just feels like a was of time...

Ok, sorry to bother you guys again. I'm that fat, quit smoking faggot who bought a treadmill.

It's been one week, I can now run a comfortable .5 kilometres, and I can do 2 chinups finally, so things are going good. I eat mostly meat and cut almost all sugar from my diet except for coffee.

I just bought a bench press, and I want to combine my workout routine with it. My routine currently is, job/run for 15 mins, attempt to do chin-ups, for a couple hours, then do the same before bed.

If I add in the bench press, what is the best way to do this, and should I do it on an incline? What I mean is, should I start with just the bar and do it till I get tired, or should I do like 3 heavy lifts?

Again sorry to bother you, I'll post again in a week for a check up. Please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong.

Dude, anything is better than nothing. If you have weights do some 5x5 routine like Starting Strength or Strong Lifts. If you just have a bar then do lots of reps. You got this boo.
