I'm going to bump because I have a related question. I am going to Vietnam soon and i am planning on getting a suit tailored and I want it to last throughout the whole of the next year where I will be attending numerous formal events (doesn't necessarily have to be a black suit though). What styles and cuts etc would you recommend. Suit Inspo please.

I work at a retail store that requires suit pants. I have tried alot of different brands, but the cheap slimfit ones from h&m i probably the best i have ever bought. Got 5 pairs and use them to everything that requires a suit

This. I will agree that at a certain point you are stupid if you buy super expensive tees and stuff, but high quality fabrics are really what make the difference for me. I bought a norse projects parka and the fabric feels 10x more luxurious and sturdy than the uniqlo one I already had.

with designer fashion you can generally expect good construction, fabrics, better cuts and unique, intuitive well thought out design
yes some of it is wank, but there's a lot of it that is very wearable and beats the shit out of $20 h&m shit and the like
