That was my mindset 2 years ago actually. If you care enough to make change, go approach girls. Go approach girls you've known for some time, be it your friend or someone, try to advance things with her.

The point is to make yourself experience and familiar with rejection so you'll be able to brush it off like it's no thing.

You're main problem is figuring out a way to pay for college. You can accomplish this in a few ways. Taking out a loan is what most people do, but it's a lot of debt to take on, and probably not the most ideal path for you. You could join the military, which would give you free college plus additional income. You'd only have to actually work in the military for 2 years, but you would have money saved up and no debt, which would put you ahead of your peers. You could also apply for a lot of vocational scholarships and try to get into a technical college. Not many people choose to go to vocational schools these days, so they give out a lot of scholarships to people interested in attending them. You might even be able to find a full paid scholarship in the form of an apprenticeship or something.

Also, I'd only choose to get into engineering if you're confident in your physics, math, and science skills and your ability to study. College math and chemistry is a lot tougher than high school. If you got bad grades in high school you won't do well in engineering.

This city is alright, but it ain't all it cranked up to be. If you have money, and can afford to live in a decent part of town, sure why not. If you're broke, better have a skill or trade to sustain you. Cost of housing here is 40% of ones earnings, which is I think 10% above the national average. The expressway (I-95) gets backed up like a brick. The people are all together less social than most people in the bible belt, not nearly as nice imo, though of course like any place you encounter exceptions.

Miami is expensive is fuck though, and that's why I left it. I currently live in Las Vegas.

Hookah is fun as shit to smoke, I used to come home from work and pack some shisha and weed and just chill out for an hour or so smoking it everydat. I'd say go for it, but smoke only about a full bowl or two a day. Starts to hurt if you smoke more than that

Tried vaping for a while, it was fun at first but the douchery surrounding it turned me off to it. And yeah you do get a buzz but it really doesn't beat smoking actually tobacco in my opinion

Out in public, book store, a cafe, people working at their jobs (depending), through other friends, online dating sites, extra curricular activities, match making service, bars and clubs (there are different kinds, they're all not biker bars and dance clubs), parks, dog parks, mueseums, take a class (don't necessarily have to "go to school"), crash weddings, volunteer with a group, get to know your neighbours, just get to know other guys or people in general (the more people you know the larger your network, more potential girls you will meet through friends and acquaintances). I'm sure I could go on and on. Just keep doing things, the more interactions with people, the more likely one of those people will be a potential girl you can date.
