I have seen a mention or two of something called the belray (bel ray?) surge mentioned here once or twice in the past week, and I can't get any info on it. Google returns nothing helpful. Besides an archived /x/ thread mentioning it, and someone saying they werent surprised it was scrubbed from google and they never explained it. Anyone know what it is? Pic might be related, but I'm not sure. Pls, share.

Was really captivating at the time and I think it's a will o' the wisp type experience cause by the areas rock composition. It was a clear summer evening which led me to rule out ball lightning

It is, Giordani Bruno has a book on it.
It seems useful for memorizing shit you absolutely HAVE to remember, but it's impractical for tedious everyday stuff.
Competitors who memorize places of PI and such swear by it, but overall, there were studies and they didn't shot it to be much more effective than rote memorization.
The reason it works with PI is because it's meaningless numbers in the first place, so it's hard to attach any relevance to them without imagery.

I had a hard time understanding what he was talking about at first. He said something about an aerial photo and there were smaller images or something. Something about a dog and a cat. Sounded like a high resolution photo or something you can zoom in on.
Then he told me the website like 6 times so I could remember it.

I think "Unknown" or "paranormal" is a lower, unconscious form of human's creative abilities, of true poetry. There's always something unknown, or perhaps unexperienced, in a poetic or mystic sense of the world, not some mad ideas and beliefs. There are so many emotions virtually unknown to 99,9% of human beings. The perception of beauty always longs for something beautiful, and beautiful is always something never completely known, but when this perception degrades, all mad distorted things come into being. And those mad things about aliens, supernatural forces, weird ideas and sectarianism.
