I believed in it in my last three lives, but now a days I'm not so sure.

I've mostly ever heard "past life" stuff from loopy headed women. I don't believe it for a second desu.
>>
>>17485655
Buddhists believe in it, but it's likely a coping mechanism to deal with the fact that there just might be nothing beyond death. Still a neat idea though.

>dream thread

Ok /x/ i dont know anything about dreams, why our mind does it for science reasons or for paranormy reasons but i just wanted to know if you guys had any recurring weird dreams
i have 2

this one i dont have anymore but used to when i was in middle school
>dreaming about some random shit
>in a public place
>have to walk some where
>legs go all fucky and it's near impossible for me to control them
>im talking like one knee is touching the floor and the other is above my head
>i cant for the life of me remember how to walk
i dont remember what happens after i finished that distance or anything but it was awful

this one is more recent
>dreaming about shit
>have to pee in dream
>im in a public place again, this time some place that i come too a lot like work
>need to pee still
>go into bathroom
>decide to pee in trashcan
>like for no reason, i know its wrong in my head but i pee in the trashcan
>i keep doing it throughout the day
>pee is going everywhere on the wall in the floor
>trashcan is filled with pee
>people notice
>cant fucking help myself but to only piss in the trashcan and on the floor

what the fuck /x/ arent dreams supposed to tell me something

Yeah, I'm sure most everyone has a few recurring dreams. I guess they're supposed to tell you something about yourself. I'm guessing that last one was telling you that you had to use the bathroom.

I recently had a recurring dream that I've had a few times change for the better a couple nights ago.

>at some nighttime pool party with a bunch of
people I don't know. Just chillin' in the pool.
>suddenly everyone, including me get up and go out on the front porch for some reason.
>some alien creature looks like a cross between a grey and what most people think the chupathingy looks like
>bites this reporter lady and she starts freaking out
>she starts melting and growing spikes out of her face
>the alien shape-shifts to blend into the crowd and infect more people
>but before that it calls some monster hound thing to keep everyone on the porch
>if they try to run it tackles them and drags them under the porch
at this point the dream usually goes on 'till it gets everyone including me, but this time...
>I figure out who the alien is disguised as and tackle it before it infects anyone
>I thumb it's eyes out and squeeze it's head until it pops like a pimple
>the beast gets mad and tries to attack me
>I dodge until it's attacks become so predictable I'm able to counter
>when it jumps I use it's momentum to throw it off the porch or into a wall
>after a few times of this it get so weak that it's slow enough for me to grab when it jumps
>take it by its hind legs and slam it into a nearby post, breaking it's neck
>save the day and everyone goes home
The End

I've also had dreams exactly like that second one you described, OP. I just opened up a trash can and sat there pissing into it for what felt like hours. I'm lucky I didn't piss myself in my sleep or something.

Mine are usually low gravity. I can jump thirty feet in the air, sometimes throwing in flips and spins for fun, other times just for quick transportation from one place to another.
The rest involve running so fast (usually 10-15mpg) that I don't have to touch the ground anymore for some reason. I just lift my legs a bit and float along, only occasionally having to take a step if I slow down too much. Part of my brain must think that the more horizontal momentum you have, the less vertical momentum will affect you.

Lots of freedom and jumping/dashing everywhere. Feels good, man.

Just thought it had that ominous feeling

Hey e/x/plorers, do you guys feel that the supernatural was real, but the church hunted them down centuries ago, and store what every they couldn't destroy in the Vatican?

I am asking because of a news story(in my country) about a teacher cutting children hair without parent's permission and keeping the hair.

It seems that it's a universal belief that someone can work harm towards you if they have some of your hair.

So I was thinking that it had to be based on something (all myths are based in fact right?).

Worlds.com is a relic of the Internet from the late 90's and early 00's. It was the first 3D chat client - the predecessor to programs like Second Life and IMVU. While it was massively popular in its beginning, receiving sponsorships from Britney Spears, Coca Cola, David Bowie, and many others, it didn't last long. New 3D chats cropped up and technology advanced. Worlds quickly became outdated. However, a small group of dedicated regulars has kept the chat alive. Mostly.

What's left now is a large collection of interconnected and largely abandoned maps that range from mundane to eerie. There are a number of official worlds, but there is still a vast system of user-created worlds to explore as well.

So why is it on /x/? The labyrinth of largely abandoned and forgotten worlds has a distinctly creepy aura surrounding it, much like any other abandoned place would have. Plus, there are large number of worlds that are downright strange or unsettling simply for their subject matter: bright crimson hallways with people lined up in cages, a carnival of clowns with the backdrop of a blood red sky, a psychedelic trip through an LSD simulator. Your mileage may vary, of course, but there are a number of things worth a look. Give it a shot.

Fucking hell.

50 dogs in the last 50 years

Other dogs have not been as fortunate. In the past half-century, some 50 dogs have leapt to their deaths from the same historic bridge.

During one six-month period last year, five dogs jumped to their deaths.

All of the deaths have occurred at virtually the same spot, between the final two parapets on the right-hand side of the bridge, and almost all have been on clear, sunny days.

Furthermore, the dogs which have perished have all-been long-nosed breeds: labradors, collies and retrievers.

Dorren Graham, of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals calls the phenomenon a 'heartbreaking mystery'.

'There are lots of owners whose dogs have died and who are trying to find out why they jumped.'

Could dogs be deliberately committing suicide?

Built in 1895 by Calvinist Lord Overtoun, the ornate Victorian structure arches 50ft over Overtoun Burn, the stream which runs below.

Now, thanks to stories posted on the internet, doglovers from around the world are asking: could dogs be deliberately committing suicide on this particular bridge, and if so, why?

In an attempt to solve a problem which has left many local dog owners so concerned, they will no longer walk their pets on the doomed bridge, a host of specialists converged on the west Scotland town earlier this year to investigate - and finally solve the mystery.

Rumours have long circulated that the bridge and nearby Overtoun House are haunted. In 1994, local man Kevin Moy threw his baby son to his death from the bridge, claiming he thought the child was the anti-Christ.

Shortly after he tried to end his own life with an unsuccessful suicide attempt from the same bridge.

Donna Cooper says: 'Rumour has it that he was on drugs, but he insisted the place was haunted and it does seem to have a strange effect on people and dogs.'

It's sort of complicated to explain, so I was hoping there'd be people more experienced with it.
The concept originated from the theosophical society, and the idea is to represent the "aura" of a certain idea, I guess. If you really want to get into it, there's a book about them here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/16269/16269-h/16269-h.htm
But that's a bit more supernatural and esoteric than I am.

Man, are there even any legit paranormal experts on this board anymore?

Anybody with even one paranormal encounter under their belt could tell you that this is a classic case of interdimensional abduction. The greys from the crab nebula are known to do this almost daily--they're particularly active in Russia and Southern Appalachia.

The fact that you faggots can't see that this is what's going on really tells you something about the status of /x/ in 2016.

I bet most of you newfags have never even created a Tulpa before.

/x/, something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east. It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was home. What happened to me?

I'm going to have to agree with this guy.

It's pretty clear. You driving home with just a couple of miles to go. Then you looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east. It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around you - and when you came to, you were at home.
