Heres one to start us off, it was the very first dream that I can ever remember having; was about 5 at the time.

I keep waking up late, and i don't have time to write down my dreams, and so they're gone within 10 minutes or so
Any advise on that?

For example:
The only thing i can remember of today is that there may have been a hotel involved, and i think it was also someone i used to know, but don't anymore

I usually lie in bed a few extra minutes and try to remember them, though that usually makes me fall asleep again these days. With me, though, there's about a 50/50 chance I'll randomly remember it later in the day.

I get something I call dream/nightmare loops. The jist is I wake up, go about doing something normal, then suddenly be back in bed waking up again. These loops are incredibly vivid, but each loop I become more aware that I am dreaming. Eventually I start to panic which finally scares me "awake".

This where it gets really bullshit. I can't move. I don't realize it yet, but I'm not actually awake. I'm always facing my window, and there is a shadow outside. A sensation of being pulled, or falling starts growing. I fight like hell against it until I finally jolt "awake".

The loop continues ad infinitum until someone comes and actually wakes me up.

I'd love to know what this shit really is. Doesn't sound like sleep paralysis, cause I don't think I am ever really awake until I am really awake.

Up until I started smoking weed(and whenever I have had to stop) I Would have these dreams where I would be having a great time in my dream then this guys shows up dressed in black everything dissolves into a complete black void but me and him are on like a platform and he pretty I think he would talk but I'm a little fuzzy on that part of it but anyways this guy starts chasing me and I'm fucking terrified and in classic dream fashion I would slip and wake up right as he leaned over me, now I know this is kinda the classic trip while getting chased thing but the fucked up part is I would see him and recognize him freaky guy who ruining a all me dreams and i could see his face clear as day but I do not know where that face is coming from he is not someone I know in waking everyday life. Not a teacher coworking family friend celebrity actor nothing and I've never seen any face that resembles him. Idk just kinda spooky

My mother has precognitive dreams often-- most of the time its before a family member dies (weirdly, only on my stepfathers side of the family) but also other stressful situations involving people which she ends up being correct about about a week or even less before it happens. I think it's interesting but also freaks me out when she calls to tell me she had a dream about me.

But I'm also wondering if I get them too but don't focus enough on my dreams to remember? The only one I can think I've actually had is a dream that I was in a relationship with my current partner a year before we actually got together (we were only acquaintances at the time). After having the dream, I woke up with this really weird feeling, I can't really explain it.. But this one might be more coincidence since the time span between the dream and the event is so much longer.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Since a year or so, I've been experiencing something weird. Whenever i go to sleep and im chilling in my bed, eventually i feel like a great "switch" clicking in my head; almost audible and brutal; just when my thoughts begin to blurr and become silly, and then I know that I'm going off to dreamland. At this time i usually find myself talking with people in my head, thought i'm not properly sleeping.

Is this something?

Also, whenever i wake up after a night drinking (even if it's just two beers) I'm always able to dream while awake. This is, I'm at the bed , with my eyes closed, and i feel like i can see through my eyelids. Sometimes there are silly things, like my computer is on the bed, or my girlfriend is next to me telling me something (while in real life she's sleeping). I don't think there is anything supernatural there, but is scary.

Is this something?

Got 2 recurring dreams I've had for years. I hope one of you can help me interpret them, especially the 2nd one.

1st

But it was with the McDonalds characters and I was driving Ronalds big ass shoe car

I've been eating bananas right before bed on some times (3 times so far) and on two of those nights I have a very vivid lucid dream and on the other night I had a vivid non-lucid dream.

Are there any other effective foods or vitamins for lucid dreaming?

The only weird thing I've ever experienced while sleeping is walking through my home town on a Friday night during a football game but the field is parallel to the school instead of perpendicular and the buildings are all in different places but the same people same teams and people purposefully avoiding me and being able to walk through gang neighborhoods in opposing colors and they freak out instead of shoot me but it always ends in me tripping on a lip on the sidewalk and waking with a falling feeling

I used to be plagued by nightmares when I was a kid. Some real vivid stuff due to some sleeping meds I was on.

One of the last ones I had wasn't really involving me, and it was pretty quick.

It started out with a view of some underground place, kind of like sewers or something similar. It all looked very rustic.

Then into view came a lot of bodies. All broken and bloody, seemingly dead. A lot of them had bones sticking out of them. They weren't rotted, just dead and mangled.

Then they started to heal, bones would get pulled back into their skin and realign themselves. Wounds would close up until they all looked like normal bodies.

They started to get up, and as they started to get up, the view changed from the underground to a city. It was burning, buildings half demolished, completely trashed. The sky was dark with a red hue.

Then someone said "In eight years, they rise."

And I wake up. This was a year ago. So the year would be 2023. I don't usually give any of my dreams much thought, but this one really bothered me. I had just had a dream come completely true about 2 weeks prior, so this one left me a little uneasy.

okay it's been a long time since I've been here on /x/ but I want to share a story, I just woke up from a nap, and I had a crazy ass dream, I won't greentext this story because I want you to fully grasp it


I was somewhere with friends from school. I was trying to reach them by climbing a fence, that fence started breaking down, but it did so slowly, basically letting me land safely on the other side of it. Me and my friends talked about something, I can't recall about what anymore.

Then suddenly everyone starts dropping on the concrete, one by one and they stop moving. I do so too. I was looking at some trespassers as I was fading away, and they droped on the concrete as well.

Shortly after that, I woke up where I had fallen unconcious, my friends were there too, alive and kicking. Everything returned to normal, it was as if nothing had happened.

Later on I read something on twitter from a pro-gamer I follow, which said: "I think I might have to reconsider my beliefs, after this god-nuke."

God-nuke? I instantly realized, we didn't just fall unconcious, we all had died and been revived.

After that I was talking to somebody, with a girl from school, who I suspect has a crush on me, and that guy's skin started turning white as snow.

Then I was watching the news, and the news reported on a massive increase in religious beliefs and religously motivated violence in the entire world, after the "god-nuke".


Then I woke up.

It's a bit of a meme dream but

I dreampt North Korea built a huge tower that extended into space, and the rest of the world chose about 10-20 people to climb to the top and destroy it. It was extremely dangerous, and about 15 people died on the first few floors. I was one of the ones chosen, but I dropped out when it became too difficult.
The remaining people became exceedingly good at advancing floors, and I could only watch them from the sidelines.
It was way more detailed than that, I knew more than one person's backstory, etc. but I've forgotten most of it

I had a pretty spoopy dream (at least for me it was spoopy). First I was being chased by a nigger with a chainsaw. I was barely out running him and I was very out of breath when I finally got to a police car (in the middle of the night [very dark] mind you). As soon as I got there the police car pulled away instead of helping me, the nig looked distraught at first but when this happened his face changed completely to something much more nefarious. He looked at me as he was pulling away and then I hear a chainsaw by the back of my head. That's when I woke up shaking, heart beating fast, very spooped. Then I had another dream about a nuke hitting some big city south west of the Mississippi. I saw the blast wave coming towards my family and I was telling them we had to get to the basement, but my father had an unrelentingly curious face as he watched and he said, "But why it's so beautiful" or some shit. Not really spooped by that one at all. The first one spooped my shit up though.

I once had a dream that all the skyscrapers in Chicago were up on rollers. The mayor/city planners were moving the buildings around to a layout that they liked more. I was in one of the buildings as it was moving along. Weird.

last night i dreamt i was swimming on cycling lanes in the rain, asked direction to some kids and swam along.

Later I heard a crowd of people so i stopped swimming and walked over, people running through a long hallway. Somebody had a baby in the hallway but the baby was born dead

Wake up in another world, that has the qualities of a video game, but feel like real life.
This point is where I forget a lot of things
Remember "dying" in this game, in a bland room. Can't remember cause of death.
Wake up again in real life. This time in a house. Time spent in house is blurry, I've forgotten most of it. Go upstairs on sneaking suspicion.
Look out of attic window and see stranger.
Stranger kicks a ball up on top of the house to intentionally get it stuck so that he can request entrance.
I run downstairs and warn lady in charge of the house of the danger of this stranger.
She locks door.
Everyone else goes back to business as usual, but I stay suspicious.
I grab a knife.
Stranger picks lock and bursts into house.
He is accompanied by a group of other strangers who resemble a sect of the cult-like group from earlier.
They begin terrorizing residents of the house.
I get into a knife fight with stranger.
I kill him.
Look through house to find other strangers.
Everyone is running around and panicking.

How do you tell the difference between a lucid dream and actually visiting another realm?

You'll have access to all your memories in another realm. Lucid dreams take up a ton of brain power, and most of the time you won't have access to all your memories because your brain is busy trying to stop your conscious mind from returning to fuck up your metabolism. Basically, when you're asleep you lose certain mental faculties that you wouldn't have any reason to lose while visiting another realm. The big one is the ability to self-detect your own consciousness. That one tends to be critical for the resting brain to have shut down.

I have dreams all the time that I can fly. those are my favorite. I can take off running and the harder I concentrate, the higher I can go. Like just over power lines,as I almost hit them and make it over.
I also have dreams that are exactly like psychedelic trips. I have tried psilocybin, lsd, dmt, and synthetic mescaline analogues. I see entities looking down towards the end of these dreams, like they never seen anything like it.

I've been having some really weird /b/-tier dreams, and I would appreciate somebody analyzing it.

On the way there, Dan(Some dude from the Nursing program I used to be in) gets shot in the leg or something. When we reach the hotel, there is a snake problem. Greyson learns where this man is, as he is actually in the bathroom right now. We go outside, and I nearly get bit by a snake, if not for a dodge and my phone being in the way. An ambulance comes,and I realize all three of us are wearing scrubs. Greyson and the EMT take Dan and casually throw him into the bedless back, and it looked like Dan hit his head really bad and rag dolled.

At the bathroom, Greyson goes in, and I remember gripping about how I was wearing jeans too tight, and wearing the underwear of the guy's boyfriend. I open the door, and see greyson by the urinals looking sad, and I call his name.
I realize the error when I see the man before me. He is tall, veiny, creepy, and had cropped blond hair. like weirder Andy, a friend we used to have.

People get really weirded out by dreams like this, and every one has one or two that they have managed to completely black out of their memory because it is so fucked up.

And even then most dreams don't make a lot of sense.

Sometimes, when I'm dreaming, I get the physical sensation that someone is dragging a finger along the length of my taint.

It tickles, and it feels weird, and it makes me wake up.

The earliest I remember this was when I was maybe 11 or so. I was having a sexually confusing dream at the time. My older brother pinned Mr down on my back, legs together and rear in the air, and then next thing I know, someone's caressing my taint. I legitimately thought somebody was molesting me in my sleep when I woke up. That wasn't the case, though, or so I believed.

Years later, and well after I learned what fapping was, I tried touched myself in the same place after having the dream a few nights prior. Felt good, sure, but it oddly enough felt exactly the same way it did when I was asleep. I grew skeptical about the issue, and vowed to wake up to the culprit if it happened again. I couldn't just let it happen again.

So I put it away in my mind for a while, waited until it happened, and when it did, and I could tell when it would, I'd wake up immediately go find out what would happen. The first time I tried pulling it off held negative results. I woke up with nothing but the distinct tingle and an everlasting mystery.

I'm almost 21 now and it still happens on rare occasion. It just happened a month ago, now that I think about it. I was having a lewd dream about a girl, I got the sensation again, and as I was about to say "stop it" while waking up, I opened Mt eyes... No one was there, again. Like, no one in the room at all. No person, no animal, no bug in my sheets, no remnants of anything even being in that erogenous area... nothing.

I still to this day don't know why this keeps happening.

I have had precognitive dreams my whole life, more frequently when I was a child but they are still occasional.

Usually it's mundane stuff but I had a dream about a year ago where I was sitting on a bench in a graveyard mourning someone. I was with a friend talking about what a shock the death was, reminiscing a very specific time the 3 of us had.

I woke up and told my mother about it, saying it felt so real but I eventually completely forgot about the dream. Then late last year a lifelong friend killed himself without showing any signs of depression. He eventually had a bench put down at his grave and I visited him with a friend a few weeks ago, having the exact same conversation as in the dream I had way before he died.

I'm running like crazy through this corridor with pipes and very dim red light. I run at full speed turning corner after corner like I know where I'm going and suddenly I open a metal door open with my body and then I look back and I was inside a building with mirror walls and the door closes in a way that I can't fid it again, like it blends in the rest of the building and vanishes.
I look around and I'm in a place made of white marble, there's a kind of little river that runs through a path made in the marble, there's a garden with very green lawn and two marble lions one sitting and the other laying down, it's a very peaceful place, you can only hear the sound of the water.
The place has an end, like an edge and when I get the I can see that the place is above the world, far above.

It's a nice dream.

When I was small I would always have three recurring dreams, but one of them just creeped me out a lot. The setting seemed to be an urban area, like New York or something. The dream was in a particular apartment, where this lady would sit in her living room with a large bowl of popcorn. The living room where she was sitting consisted of nothing but an armchair in the center of the room with an old TV against the wall, facing the armchair. She was watching a creepy old black an white movie. As she was watching, someone would sneak into her house, but I couldn't see who it was. The mysterious person walked up behind her chair and just looked down at her. The man could be clearly seen, he was all blue and had no face. She looked up at him and her face went from creepily happily to really scared. Then, the power would cut off. After, the dream would reveal that it was some advertisement and had an eerie jingle and a strange, then I would wake up and feel really scared.
Just writing this makes me tear up and give me goosebumps.

Walking back to my bedroom from the kitchen at night.
Out of the darkened hallway comes a short figure about half my height.
The figure is covered with a black satin sheet like a ghost costume without eye holes.

I think you might find this interesting, its similar to what you experienced.

In show called Paranormal Witness, there was one lady who said she moved into a new house, and kept having dreams of a couple from the 70s and a young girl who they've kidnapped.
Each night the dream would continue the story of what happened.
The couple kidnapped the girl and brought her first to her own house (the same house the woman moved into) and then they brought her back to their house. Trapped her in the basement and tortured her.
Then later the girl was upstairs cleaning up, talking to the 70s woman, and the man came in and I guess he was upset about something, so he slit the girl's throat. Killed her.
The woman moved out of the house, but the dream continued, and the girl was in the trunk.
She said an address, and when the woman woke up, she went to the police station because she felt like the girl was communicating to her in her dreams.
She told the police all of the details, and there actually WAS a young woman who fits the description who went missing around the 70s.
The officer showed the woman a picture of the girl who went missing, and she looked exactly like the one in her dreams.
They drove to the location that the girl said in the dream, but found nothing. Unfortunately her body was never found, but the man in the dream WAS convicted of kidnapping another young woman previously.
They might not have found her remains because the address might have been something else, or there might have been more to it, (such as how games will have puzzles that you have to figure out in it)
But there is no doubt that the girl was communicating to the woman about what happened to her, and the man and other woman were responsible for her death.

Her name was Marie Elizabeth Spannhake. Missing in 1976.

I dream about my stillborn twin sister every now and then.
What happened is that 5 months in my mom had some complications and had to abort my twin.
All my life even before my parents told me about what happened I always dreamt about this girl who is the same age as I am. Im my dreams we usually just stay together silently enjoying the company of each other, its always peaceful and leaves a strong impression in me and a very deep loneliness.
Is it possible for someone to contact you in dreams? Is my sister waiting for me on the other side? I miss her even though we never got to live together.

I found myself standing in front of my grandmothers house. It's a small house in a secluded village located on a hill. It was autumn and night was falling soon. I remember the crimson sky as it was getting darker. I searched for my grandmother in the large yard that sorrounds the house. It's mostly trees that fill the yard and one small cottage. I couldn't find her anywhere so I decided to look for her far down in the field bellow the hill. I started running there but I heard something rustle the leaves behind me, chills ran down my spine I turned around and there was nothing.

I'm lying in bed facing a wall. On the wall there is the night sky with stars and the moon in the center, then it all starts to like spin inward and I feel myself getting closer and closer. As the stars become sucked in a very basic stitch doll in the form of an elderly woman shorts, I associate as a witch, she has messy hair and has an expressionless face with two red buttons for eyes and a malevolent aura. She begins to cackle as I'm being pulled closer and closer to her. I try to move, but I cannot. I try to look away, I cannot. I try to scream, but my mouth won't open. Today I dreamt that I was sitting on a bus stop with a friend. The friend left to check on something, then people were painfully thick, and started misunderstanding my being there.

I was very confused and they were very passive aggressive- which eventually lead to extreme violence on my part. But people were still passive aggressive and not fighting back or resisting.

I have very blurred memories of it, but I woke up feeling like I was rage incarnate. I remember myself feeling like the Warp was overtaking me, and it was so pleasing to beat the everloving shit out of those people.
I haven't been that angry for a long time.


I guess I have some pent up anger. And a fear of being judged.

I was Vampire and I had to fight with some vampire woman. I was much stronger than her, I used some kind of magic to pinn her to ground, she couldn't move, I started chanting some shit and magic circle showed around her body, it started to burn like hell and only charred body remained.

people experience dark and evil things because those are the things that they have absorbed through whatever media they consume and they are the things which come to mind in scary situations such as being paralysed
also, despite differences in peoples subconscious' the vast majority of humans fear the same things such as the supernatural, the unknown
However, asking why people seem to experience similar visions during sleep paralysis is like asking why people dream of things in general but although that's not a question particularly well answered by science right now, that does not permit anyone to accept other sources of information with open arms because it's the next available thing and some people would prefer to have a weak answer than no answer at all

I had a couple instances happen in an old beach house in south carolina. I Will call it sleep paralysis.

Every time I lucid dream I just experiment with the different things I can do and what the brain allows, turns out that whenever I die in my dream it's over and for the rest of the night nothing else happens when I sleep. It gets frustrated waking up in the morning sometimes because I throw away good opportunities when lucid dreaming by accidentally killing myself. For example, I wondered what it would feel like if I jump off a really tall building and how surreal it would be since i'm in control, I do it and right before I hit the ground the dream just goes black and I wake up. It's pretty silly but at the same time I find it interesting how it just does that.

What does it look like?

>imagine image of your own body in your bed, still sleeping
>focus on the image and teleport to the exact location
>gently touch your sleeping body
What happened?

3) >find person (preferably one you know)
>try to capture their attention through physical contact
>try to get them to snap out of it
>see if you can get them to realize their in a dream

Sorry if it seems like a bit much to ask, I'm just really curious about this kind of stuff.

I had a rather weird connecting dream. It's not that the dream itself was weird, just the way it made me feel.

I assume it's like a time attack, since we went seperately one after the other

>someone passes by (possibly my brother) and completely ignores my screams and then makes it to the house
So I wake up, look around, grab something from my backpack, and go back to sleep
>I'm in the same "world" as my last dream
>escape the plant somehow
>walk over to the workshop at my house
>there are three men that are somewhat playful in nature that say they want to kill me
>I'm extremely said and tell them I can't die, and that I'll feel bad killing them
>they attack me one after the other and my body jerks on its own killing them
>the last one doesn't seem to feel anything after his friends die, and simply wants to help me die
>he fails and I kill him while crying
This is my first time here and I don't really believe that every dream has some deep meaning, but this just felt strange when I woke up.

If I'm trying to induce sleep paralysis to lucid dream, do I even need binaural beats? I feel like it could help you shape the dream into whatever mood you wanted more easily by putting your mind into that mood, but I'm just not sure.

Also, in general, any tips for sleep paralysis? I've gotten up to my knees to feel the sensation, but nothing more, it just kinda stops.And what do I do once I'm completely paralyzed?

Here's the first truly extreme nightmare I had that was not a "falling dream"

Hello /x/ first of all sorry for my bad english I am not a nativ speaker.
I have a story to tell about my dreams and I am seeking for some answers or advice to make those dreams go away.
Well sinc about 7 days I am having some weird dream where I am lying in my bed and a weird demonic creature comes to me and offers me the power of transforming into any human being or animal. Even though I always had a bad feeling about it I instantly acepted the offer. After I accpet the offer I am in an empty train and after a few station it get crowded. The people that came into the train will stare at me and after some time will start punshing me and yelling "How do you deserve this, why not me ?" and "you think you are soemthing special?". After a few minutes I wake up and still feel the pain of the punshes. I know it kinda sounds like a normal nightmare but it feels so real and very disturbing... And I can remember every single detail of it. And it never really feels like a nightmare I just feel guilty when I wake up and I have no idea why.

Hmm. It could be. It certainly looked interesting. From what I can barely remember from the rest of the dream was that it was almost like stainless steel in appearance. At the top right corner of how I was holding it was an LED light - I don't remember whether it was lit or not. I believe this was meant to replace a bone in my body, hence the bone-like groovings it had, and the deepness of the cut I had made.

In my dreams I always am at places I can recall from real life like my school or the town, cinema, etc. But everything is different, buildings moved, false corridors and stuff like that. Also there are only people I don't know in real life. Explain please, it is really scary ...

So, for the past few weeks I've started experiencing sleep paralysis. I just can't deal with that weird overwhelming fear so I start wriggling (kinda of) and I get the control over my body back eventually. What should I do? and what can I do with it (sleepy paralysis I mean) I'm new to this.

i've been experiencing sleep paralysis on the regular since i was 15. I'm 22. When I was younger, I was a devout catholic, my whole family was. When I finally left my religion (I guess I am considered an atheist now) My slep paralysis has diminished tremendously. Proving once again it is a state of mind which causes these gut-wrenching auditory and visual hallucinations.

Since then, I still experience them, but I've been trying to convert them into lucid dreams.

Haven't been successful as of yet, but hoping to receive advice on how to turn these into lucid dreams (which I've only done once, mid-dream)

I almost never have regular, uncontrolled dreams anymore. I can make people say what I want, do what I want ect.
Usually I just let my dream peeps do whatever, though.

Honestly doubt this dream means anything but anons might find it entertaining to listen to. Dreamed this a few nights ago, first dream I've been able to remember in a very long time.

So I had this batshit crazy (but pretty awesome) dream a few hours ago when I was taking a nap.
>be with group of people walking uphill along a rural country road
>weather turns bad, starts raining, lots of water starts pouring down the road
>must of been a dam or something at the top of the hill, because we all realize a huge flood is coming
>start running back down the road as fast as we can
>huge torrent of water starts flowing down the road
>several of us climb into trees to escape it, the trees keep snapping, and for a little bit me and a few others keep hopping from tree to tree
>eventually get swept away with everyone else
>wind up in a large cave with some of my group and some other random survivors
>find a girl I know and like, she's freaked out but okay
>there's a large opening to the outside on the other side of the cave, sunlight is shining through
>take a look outside, realize the cave is in a massive hill, but the surrounding land is completely flooded, we're stranded
>go back inside, the girl I like is talking to a woman dressed like a witch
>woman gives off seriously creepy vibes, go over to try to get my friend away from her
>my friend walks over to me and leads me back out into the entrance
>she's now dressed in a flowing white dress and has a wreath of vines and flowers on her head
>she walks to the edge of the water, raises her hands in the air and shouts "rise, Resalla"
>this giant gold chinese dragon emerges from the water and swims up to her

Sleep para doesn't happen to me often but it's jarring when it does. I'd say it happens twice a year or so. I'm a skeptic atheist, if that matters at all but I was convinced I heard somebody just run right into my room. I may have just woken myself by snoring very loudly. I was laying in a very odd position.

If you heard something RUNNING in to your room and see nothing when you look around, it was probably a ghost.
Don't get triggered when I say that, I'm just giving what I think is a plausible explanation.

The other night I was shaken awake by my GF as she heard a noise outside, before opening my eyes I just heard her say 'there's something outside, I'm scared' but when I opened my eyes there was no-one else in the bed. Weird I thought but because my apartment is tiny it was weird that I didn't hear her pissing around in another room or w/e so I got up and checked the bathroom. As far as I could tell she wasn't anywhere. I started freaking out and went back to the bedroom to check the balcony. I glanced at the bed and she definitely wasn't in there.
I opened the doors and went out, there was obviously nothing or noone out there so I went back inside. She was lying in the bed looking at like me as if I'd gone mad.

Freaked me out ladz. Part dream or me being mental? Hard to tell.

Hello friends. I'm not sure where I'm going with this and it isn't even especially paranormal but I know you guys would be the best to ask about it over /sci/.

Anyhow, for many reasons I won't delve into detail about as it is time-consuming and largely irrelevant, I have severe dissociation (among other things) from an abusive childhood. I generally view myself as a 'third-person' most of the time.

I don't exactly lucid dream (I wouldn't say that I can control it; there have been two or three single instances that I can remember over the last couple of years where I've realized that I was inside of a dream and I've woken myself up or I've hopped into another dream.) That being said, last night, after waking up from a dream, it finally clicked that most of the time while in a dream, I'm aware of what is going on enough to question things (for example: my dream was being somewhere that I do not currently recall and I remember wondering to myself "Why am I here?" because I knew how out-of-place it was.) I realized that my 'third-person perspective' carries over into dreamland too. I can't really explain this any better and I'm not really looking for help or advice but do any of you experience anything like this at all?

a few nights ago:

The earliest dream I can remember was from when I was about 5 or 6, it was terrifying but not in the jump scare way. It starts with someone knocking on the door, I walk down a short flight of stairs to answer it. Our front door was glass so I could see out. My brother and father were standing there looking at me, pale and faded, their faces looked sullen. My mother comes behind me and asks who it is, I turn and say it's dad and brother. "But they're dead, anon". I turn back to the door and I see them slowly fade away. My father was crying.

had a crazy dream last night where I confronted and killed the devil. He was a centaur and i don't quite remember the fine details but he and I were in a clearing and there was a confrontation and somehow I abused his pride and made him doubt himself for a moment and when that happened I attacked and somehow got him pinned with his head pinned under his back so his necks exposed and hacked his head off with a picaxe of sorts.

any ideas on what this means or should I chalk it up to crazy dream or possibly because I'm sick.

I have been having extremely intense dreams, some of which I am completely aware I am dreaming. This began happening after quitting smoking weed. I quit recently after smoking daily for around 10-12 years. My dreams are so intense that they have become near nightmares, as I am "alive" in this dream world but have a fear that I cannot ever wake up
