After I threw one out of the car window when I was a child, I never wanted anything to do with my Furby (Furbie? Furbee?). It seemed to follow me around the house, always on the floor by corners of walls or furniture. The internal battery was long fried, yet the creature still blinked and made...noises. For a while I even had nightmares of the little deformed thing.

my wife had a morning shift, so I got up with her, we did shit for about an hour before she had to go. I went back to sleep for a few hours, and i woke up at one point face down in the pillow. I could hear the distinctive noise of somebody walking around the kitchen. My first thought was that I had somehow slept the whole 8 hours she was at work, but when I tried to get up I couldn't. I remember really straining just to move but I couldn't, it was a little freaky but eventually I fell asleep.
When I properly woke up later it was pretty obvious it was a lucid dream.

A while ago I came into possession of an old newsletter (circa 1844) that on the back had a story about a group of people who went out in Illinois and saw a light in the sky spell out the number 1-8-6-0. What could this mean? Did anything big paranormal happen in 1860? Are there other similar events you know of?

I live in Illinois, no spoops in big cities like Chicago. The real spoops are in rural counties like mine. Lots of spoops by the Mississippi and creeks that branch off into it. Creeks are spoops because a lot of them (where I am atleast) go to graveyards, I swear to god I found a finger once. Also found a 20.

So a lot of weird future predication shit has been happening to me lately.
1. Begin of the month I bought this very specific product, and I had a dream that my friend gave me a specific review of the product. The next day he said the exact same thing.
2. Had this overwhelming feeling that I was going to lose my job on that day. I woke up with the feeling, it's my last day. That day I got let go.
3. Had an interview with a particular person. Walked past her in the street before the interview (never met her before), and I had the strong feeling it was her interviewing me.
I know it's probably just coincidence, but the third time it just threw me. I don't know what the fuck is happening to me.

Have you looked around your room, and the entire house for black pellets? Mice are very common, and even in very clean houses they can be attracted to a house for various reasons.
If it is a mouse you need to act immediately, because if you let it get comfortable, you'll have an infestation
look behind and under shit for little black pellets, or for where they have gathered a bunch of material for a chill out spot.

Where are the real magic-users?
I've been seeking out magic ever since I was young, primarily because the world as it appears is boring as hell. I want to see something supernatural, even if it kills me.
To this end, I've consulted with many so called "practitioners of the arts," both online and in real life. I am convinced that nearly all of them were frauds.
I've spoken with Theological Satanists, Angel-Worshipers, Psychics, a Voodoo-using man, Street Magicians (illusions would still be magic if it required spells/incantations instead of sleight of hand), White Spiders, and countless other people from countless other websites and forums.
Nearly every time, what they did was a mere trick, or they just wanted my money. I know a Cult Scheme when I see one.
The only weird "coincidence" that ever happened to me was this: One day, I spoke with a self proclaimed "Astronomancer," which I think basically means "Space Wizard." He talked to me about how the patterns of the stars affected human lives, and before he left he gave me an example. He said that tonight, I would have a strange dream.
I did everything in my power to avoid that. I ate an ordinary bland meal, did not stay up too late, thought happy thoughts before I went to bed, the whole nine yards. However, when I woke up in the morning, I had faint memories of a terrible nightmare the night before. Most of it was stricken from my mind, but I never had a good memory in the first place.
I can probably chalk that one up to coincidence, but it was exciting nonetheless.
So /x/, I ask you, where are the real magic-users? If you've met one, please tell me the truth, and if you have their email/website let me know.

You know what I think? I think those people are charlatans who use that phrase to explain why they can't actually show any magic.
I don't need a lot, just something small. Move a table, put a thought in my head that's not mine, blind me for a second, put a hex on me for an hour. C'mon, that shouldn't be too hard for some of the "master wizards" I've run into.

When did you have your spiritual awakening, or began to realize how the universe works? Did you lose friends who were not on the same frequency as you? Did circumstances change? I'm going through mine now, and it's actually kind of scary, everything and everyone around me is dropping out of my life. I know this will pass, but it would be good to hear from people who went through a similar phase.

Have you or your family ever encountered a doppelganger? I believe 3 doppelganger stories may have happened in my life.
The first most convincing story happened when I was about 12-14. My parents were divorced and my dad asked me to go to a skii resort with him, his new girlfriend and her son. I disliked his girlfriend and her son so I refused to go. later when my dad came back he showed me a footage of a girl skiing just in front of him. She looked exactly like me. basically, she had my face. Her hair was the same length and colour as mine and, the most freaky thing is she was wearing exactly the same tracksuit that I had! My dad said that at first he thought that it's me but then he thought to himself that it can't be me, no way it's me because I'm back at home. So he just decided to film that girl skiing to show to me later. The only difference between me and that girl was that that girl was really good at skiing while I am not and don't even like skiing. I still don't know what to think of this case.
My second possible doppleganger experience happened when I was 18. I was walking to a bus stop one morning to catch a bus to my university when some woman stopped her car in front of me, opened the window and said: "Hi, Jess". My name is not Jess so I told the woman that I'm not Jess. She said something like: "Very funny, Jess!" and then parked near the small factory-looking building and went inside. I guess she probably worked there. Her car looked decent and she looked presentable so I don't think she was crazy. I still think it was a weird experience.

One morning one of the girls accused me of talking to her at night and saying weird, scary things to her. I told her that she was a liar and that I didn't do anything like that.
