Hello, /x/, I'm here for the first time. So, I was brought up in a muslim family and muslims, as you may know, may be into mysticism sometimes. So, my grandmother told me a story that fucking triggered my spooky meter. She said that a man from her village (it's north Caucasus) once encountered a demon from hell. A fucking demon slapped him and nearly broke his neck. At first, I thought that this story is fake, but then I met the man himself. He remembered clearly, that when he went to toilet at late night (the toilet is separate from house), he heard some strange noises coming from there. He didn't creep out (oh, he should've), he just slowly opened the door and a very strange, brown big hand just fucking slapped his face from the darkness (he didn't turn the light on). He just fell on the ground unconscious. When he woke up the 'thing' was gone. The other story. My aunt went to the bathroom at night and when she turned the lights on... Holy shit, she just told herself that she saw her brother in the mirror, who was at army during that time. He just fucking called her by name. She completely freaked out and ran away. Is this fucking true, /x/? Are demons from hell just visiting religious people and slapping and spooking them? I heard it all myself
inb4 fuck off, muslim
I am an agnostic currently
Also, did you or your relatives encounter such shit? I am just completely spooked with that.

> Demon slapped my relative
> I was brought up in a muslim family
This demon chose his allegiances well. Seriously though, demons don't work like that.
I find it easier to write horror stories if I have a steady stream of unsettling soundtracks playing in the background. The problem is, I've been listening to them on youtube, which is obviously interrupted by loud upbeat advertising, which totally kills the vibe. Any of you know a site where I can listen/download a collection of horror OSTs? I've really been digging the Stir of Echoes OST, Signs, The Evil Within (game), etc. Basically I don't have any interest in hearing generic Halloween themes, or the Shining, or Rosemary ' baby, because those are too familiar and adversely affect the vibe I'm going for. Any help?

Has anyone tried this at home? I've been using a binaural app called Brain Waves that lets you dial in frequencies and even with earbuds I don't get the spoops. I imagine the frequency would need to be run through a subwoofer (which I do not have) to get results maybe.
Any anon out there with a bad-ass sound system want to try running this app or something similar and report results? No, I'm not a shill for the app, it doesn't do anything but generate tones.
>>17505491
Oh, freq is 19Hz if you didn't read the link.
OP still here, don't want to seem same fagging, just kinda coming up with stuff on the fly. I would assume a haunted house infrasound would probably come from an acoustically odd part of the place in the first place.
Ya I've messed around with low bass tones and binaural. There is a free program called Gnaural that lets you create your own with many variables.
I believe what the article says about earth tones (geologic, electric, telluric, etc) being the catalyst of certain paranormal events. The brain operates on electric pulses and the introduction of outside waves can sync the brain creating phenomena
Somewhat tangential but I think this ties into the correlation of music, physics, and emotion. Certain turnings and notes seem harmonic/dissonant because they are have perfect numbers behind them and these variations relate to the human brain in a specific way. Dissonant sounds make the brain feel negative emotions while the opposite goes for harmonic. Any environment we are in is largely shaped based on these qualities
Sup /x/
Already made the same thread in /trv/, but does anon know of any haunted/weird/spooky places across Eastern Europe (+Finland and Estonia)?
So far I've got the Hoia Baciu forest (pic related),The Hole in Bulgaria, Budludzha, and that Soviet prison in Tallinn on my list. I'll be going this summer and am keen to find more of these places.
(Would've loved to go to Chernobyl, but afraid I won't make it into Ukraine)

Bump?
I was just listening to Coast to Coast. David Paulides was a guest tonight. For anyone who doesn't know, he wrote a series of books called "Missing 411".
Pretty much the books are about strange disappearances in national parks and forests around North America. There is a criteria on these weird disappearances in that the person could be just behind a group and would disappear. A repeated observation is also that the search would go through an area and find nothing. Years later. Months later. The body would be found in the area that was thoroughly searched. Survivors would also say they did not remember what happened to them when they disappeared.
Tonight, he added cases where these disappearances can happen just about anywhere. There was one where a guy disappeared while in a bar. Also one where a child disappeared in their own yard.
Well anyway, tonight someone called in and suggested to him "hey, where there any pyschics notified to help with these cases" basically remote viewing. And what he said was strange. He said he contacted numerous remote viewers through email who had been on the C2C show, who have credibility and you know what? No one answered back. Those who did asked to be paid first.
I wonder...are remote viewers fact or is there something they just don't want to mess with? What's going on?
Thoughts?
>>17505094
fake* are remote viewers fake
Does anyone else have a weird feeling tonight?
I've had like a weird vibe ever since I got up for work, like I'm a little paranoid that something's going to happen...
I've been at work for 2 hours now, and I'm jumpy as shit. What's going on?
It's a full moon tonight, is it lunacy?
>>17505092
Fuck, this sucks.
It's like I'm in some kind of neverending anxiety attack...
>>17505092
Interesting, I have feeling someone post this, I'm not good in divination but I think you should watch out on road today, especially on red sports cars.
But it's probably just paranoid.
>>17505092
You should go innawoods and get away from people.
Does anyone ever get depressed as hell to think that a) living forever, or b) ceasing to exist, are both depressing as fuck? I can't think about this shit without getting an anxiety attack.
that's actually quite common OP. I mean the futility of existence can be quie depressive and thinking that nothing that you will ever do will affect anything, that right now bigger things are happening and you are in front of your screen just fapping.
Well honestly, I don't care whether or not I have a forever-lasting impact. It's just thinking about what to expect when you die. Either nothingness, or an eternity of something. It's depressing either way
>>17505036
Used to fret over it but over the years it became comforting. No real responsibility in the rand scheme so I just enjoy the now because my demise is inevitable
Okay so is kundalini the dormant reptilian within us, where the chakra centers makes the serpent come out?
How can Chakras be used to defend against reptians
Shameless self bump
>>17504952
Dude that guy looks lik he's got a pretty bad case of lynks. You shouldn't practice the kudalino, it wokes up your serpant spirit which starts calling out to other serpent spirits.
Yes you can fight with your kundalini reptian but only after special training
>>17504952
wow no
is this a real case of cannibalism?
Why do they always use /x/ for viral marketing?
this is not about marketing, its about this creepy shit
Does anyone have any experience with Tai Chi Chuan, and any physical or spiritual benefits they've gained from it?
Yeh Tai Chi has alot of positive effects for me (bieng a martial artist) it helps me relax in a fight and think faster. After starting some breathing techniques i feel i have more energy when i train andbi feel alot happier.
Sorry if typing is awkward im on my phone :)
>>17504829
I've been doing tai chi chuan yang style for a couple of months one day a week now.
I know I should have done daily self training, but I just haven't been able to yet, because I keep forgetting.
Anyway, for now it did help me become more relaxed and balanced, also I've been able to feel qi better.
I think that there will be more benefits if I keep doing it and start doing it daily, like being more grounded, even more balanced and healthier.
But if you're looking for something that is more focused on physical and spiritual benefits, instead of mainly focusing on martial arts, I would recommend doing qigong instead.
Unless you are already doing qigong and are hoping to gain even more benefits from doing both, in which case I would say that tai chi does have some additional benefits.
>>17504829
It makes you balanced, increase your surroundings, body and mind awareness. Depending of your abilities you can train it as form of meditation, or martial art, though fighting abilities comes later than in external styles.
Original tai chi style is Chen. Yang and Wu are new ones, they are generally easier to learn and less demanding physically as far as I know.
Has anyone tried Transcendental Meditation, as in the official TM technique that you have to pay a couple hundred dollars for? Does it actually work? I feel like it's probably just a scam, but I'm interested due to the sheer number of people who have endorsed it
Kriya or hatha or kundalini yoga and meditation work and the books are cheaper. Tons of free YouTube videos.
>>17504711
You don't need no education.
▲
Just be yourself
>>17504711
dont buy anything to learn to meditate, its a sheer scam as you say. Meditation is free and there is nothing with that thecnique you cannot find somewhere else. Recomandation for a good book is: the mind illuminated.
Did he made it? Is she unconscious? What does it say? help

Stop using an avatar.
So Nasajim108 youtube account posted a video after 5 years of inactivity.
Any ideas what this means ? Nasajim108 general thread.
Some users apparently claim demonic evil entities are released when you watch some of his videos.
