Today I got hit by an unexpected fascination.
"How do atomic bombs work?", I was asking myself out of the blue.
(Nice video btw:

)
I already knew one thing or two about frission, but didn't remember exact details about it.
Now, I'm not the type that believes in conspiracy theories, still, I'm curious to know what do you guys think about the atomic bomb?
Was it a hoax or not?
It was not a hoax. It fucked up multiple dimensions at a quantum level. It is so bad, in fact, that now the ayy lmao's and light beings are authorized to SHUT IT DOWN if a country tries to launch a nuclear attack. This is the only thing they are allowed to intervene in the free will of the planet, authorization comes from the God Monad itself. They've done it multiple times already. If they hadn't, we'd be done for. Nuclear war is not an option in the future, but other kinds of wars are not. Anyways the one in Japan was just an atomic bomb. "The first test of a fission ("atomic") bomb released the same amount of energy as approximately 20,000 tons of TNT (84 TJ). The first thermonuclear ("hydrogen") bomb test released the same amount of energy as approximately 10 million tons of TNT (42 PJ)." An atomic bomb is created through fission, and a thermonuclear weapon(like a hundred times stronger) is created through a combination of fission and fusion.
OP here.
Here's a nice quote that explains why the atomic bomb was not a hoax:
" The political implications of atomic bombs being a fraud would be enormous.
It would mean not only that the US had cheated the world, but also that the UK, France, Russia, China, India, Pakistan and Israel had been cheating the world in a similar way.
The “treason” of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg would have been a fraud, and they would have been executed for nothing.
The Israeli whistleblower Vanunu would have been lying also, by “exposing” Israel’s nuclear arms program when no such program existed.
Israel would also be feigning right now to be concerned about a possible Iranian nuclear bomb, knowing that no such bomb had ever been built.
As for the Cuban missile crisis of 1962, that too would have been a total fake, with both Khrushchev and Kennedy cynically aware that they were engaged in a bogus argument about non-existent WMD!
Occam’s Razor would suggest that none of this nonsense is possible."
Do any of you /x/ junkies have any info on this webm?
I'm in a miserable situation with the fundamental forces of the universe, a deity, aliens and stuff like that.
When I present an opportunity to this place, it reacts in ways that are offensive to the idea of existence.
I try to comprehend how reality can possibly be this way, but the only conclusion I can come to is that you're all delusional.
By that I mean you are offensive to the concept of good in every way. When you react the way you do, if you go on with your existence ever being in a good mood you're basically making yourself even more offensive to the idea of good.
How can I make you understand that you no longer have a right to enjoy life? none of you should ever be allowed to have relationships because you'll just diminish the desirability of them.

I'm traveling the U.S with significant other anon. We have a 13 year age gap. So far we've been to Orlando when Pulse happened, Houston during riots, and the police shooting of Alton Sterling. We're going back to Houston on Monday; will our stay there be safe and no shootings?

We all know the V2 rocket was the first ever man made object to exit the atmosphere, but there were more ambitious projects that were never finished. Think of the Die Glocke, or the Rundflugzeug, Feuerball, Diskus, Haunebu, and Hauneburg-Gerät, V7. Could they have done it?

They did do it, and the tech worked, the US bringing back nazi scientists under project paperclip to work on simple rockets? If you believe that cover story, you should just head on back to /b.
Von Braun himself admitted having help from "friends" and the technology is likely the predecessor to the tr3-b Astra project, the triangle shaped ufo that people have been seeing worldwide for years.
are there any real grimoires or other types of writings about entities unseen, etc, not explicitly originated from works of fiction, worth checking out?

Why? Urban Legends are great
Title says it all, really. Let's try and be a bit more unusual with our reccomendations this time.
Everybody on this board ought to have seen Noroi by now, but what about Shiraishi's other movies? Cult and Occult are great, and the latter's ending is probably one of the best depictions of suicide bombings ever.

Hi /x/
I just realized that there's something strange about the place i live in.
I live in a small village in Italy (it has about 3000 people living here) and is neighbour with other 2 villages, kinda making a triangle of villages.
Now, my village is famous for having a high suicide rate. The people from the villages near to mine mock my people because of the suicides (and they are mocked for other reasons, its a thing old centuries)
Now, what could be the cause of the suicides?
A lot of people doesnt seem depressed or anytging, they just end their life (almost always by hanging themselves), its kind our distinctive trait the suicide thing.
Also three years ago my best friend's father killed himself and nobody knows why
Sounds like you are the reason.
>>17943377
Italy is pretty clean the old spirits there vanished long ago. However you should check the history of the place.
>>17943377
Some weird genetic habit?
Abnormal electromagnetic field?
Or maybe something is creating a low frequency sound that slowly drives people to suicide?
However if any of these were the case, you would think the suicidal tendencies would have been breed out by now...
Have there ever been any suicide survivors?
Soneone who can give you insight as to why they tried to kill themselves?
Is this a good place to discuss conspiracy theories?
I just came up with this one: Kick Ass Torrents was taken down strategically to reduce pirating of the new Star Trek movie.
I guess I don't really get into Illuminati or JFK type stuff.
I just like neat little ideas.
Do any of you have theories you've come up with?
>>17943272
Yes it is.
Kick ass torrents (and solar movie aswell) were taken down by gov types. Why? because money. Tax money goes to gov. gov is a entity concerned with its own survival. Money = energy or food for survival. Basic math chemistry bla blla bla.
Theories? Yes but the more I swim in thought the further from the truth I get.
scientology is a way for celebrities and rich people to launder money tax free
>>17943272
>Is this a good place to discuss conspiracy theories?
no, it's not. Anons get triggerd as soon a topic doesn't fir their belives. This place is flooded with shills and bot spamming.
So I went to pemberton music festival and met a girl there who wasn't on anything but yet when I was tripping on shrooms she felt the exact same thing is was feeling, visuals and everything. She was so enticing and mesmerizing, I thought either she was my soul mate since we just clicked in synchronization with each other's energies. But after she left to go see a set and I was at the time working since I went up to work for a few days to get in for free. I felt completely drained and had the worst trip after, idk I felt depleted of my energy. I figured she also could of been an energy vampire of some sorts .... I mean these big festivals are very occultic in nature so who knows..... was it that or am I just stupid and was dumbfounded by love at first site. I did feel very connected to her.
I wasn't at all doing anything whilst working that make me feel that way either or have ever had a bad trip before I was having a great time mind you. And another question, is it possible for other people to sense the same trip you're getting if in fact you both are compatible people?
>>17943218
Takes shrooms, trips, 'hm girl must be vampire'.
Really op (and other/x/ op's), why do you jump to such conclusions? I feel like there are more probable explanations than 'grill is vampires'. So op, where do you get that ludicrous vampire idea? And why did you dismiss logical explanations, like shrooms messing you up?
>>17943218
>I was tripping on shrooms
A being is manipulating the natural flow of my thoughts. As I think, I get interruptions of faces I've seen during my life yelling "fuck you!"
Can anyone explain why that happens?
>>17942918
They're tired of you shitposting too
>>17942924
I'm asking a simple question because I'm faced with a disturbing problem that I wish to comprehend.
>>17942918
What makes think this the doing of a 'being' ? Isn't it more probable you're dealing with some psychological stuff?
I am writing a spooky story and have some questions
>what point of view is more realistic or scary, 1st person recount, fake article/blog, or story about a friend?
>is a story spookier if written novelly/plainly, or conversationally/casually?
>is a fake urban legend taking place in a past era scarier than a more relevant and debunkable modern scenario?
>does using real searchable locations make a story more realistic or just easier to debunk?
>how vague should the circumstance of the eventsevents/ending be to create the most realistic/spooky/mysterious conclusion?
>>17942833
>what point of view is more realistic or scary, 1st person recount, fake article/blog, or story about a friend?
1st person
>is a story spookier if written novelly/plainly, or conversationally/casually?
mix for a "personalized" effect
>is a fake urban legend taking place in a past era scarier than a more relevant and debunkable modern scenario?
not necessarily
>does using real searchable locations make a story more realistic or just easier to debunk?
most people aren't going to look it up anyway
>how vague should the circumstance of the eventsevents/ending be to create the most realistic/spooky/mysterious conclusion?
leave it up in the air but give the audience a good idea at what will come to pass
Of course this is all personal opinion.
>>17942833
>fake article/blog, or story about a friend?
One of these two, not sure which.
If you can write it as a novel, do that. If not, it'll be easier to write it casually, which can be just as spooky if done well.
As far as which era goes, I'm too disjointed to tell.
>>17942833
Do either first person or fake article. Second hand friend of a friend stories are only good if you plan on doing something clever with the nature of that format itself. Otherwise it's just used as a way to distance you as a storyteller from the events, giving you more room to tell a ridiculous story because 'Hey man that's the way I heard it not like it happened to me.'
Of the other two I'd say the concept of realism would depend on two factors. 1) the events taking place within the story and 2) how events are presented by you.
For 1: a flying rapist demon-pig chasing after you while singing nursery rhymes in a little girl's voice isn't going to be realistic no matter how you slice it. Scary maybe if you're really good at presentation and creating tone, but never realistic. Remember that with most horror it is suspense that drives the spoops. Present things happening that on their own are quite normal, but within the context of the story they come to represent a growing and probably unknown threat. This way your story can hint at impossible or horrible things while only showing things that could happen, even if they might be somewhat bizzare. Let the readers' imagination do most of the heavy lifting until you reach your climax, at which point you should feel free to go a little more wild with actually showing something truly extranormal.
For 2: if it's a first person recollection, it's only going to seem real if it actually reads like a first person recollection. If it's a fake article, it needs to be as much like a real news article as possible.
Of course, if you want to write a more blatantly fictional story, but still want it to have a more grounded, realistic atmosphere , a lot of these rules still apply, although your presentation might read more like a novel and you could more easily show impossible things more frequently and earlier throughout the story.
