We all know the V2 rocket was the first ever man made object to exit the atmosphere, but there were more ambitious projects that were never finished. Think of the Die Glocke, or the Rundflugzeug, Feuerball, Diskus, Haunebu, and Hauneburg-Gerät, V7. Could they have done it?

They did do it, and the tech worked, the US bringing back nazi scientists under project paperclip to work on simple rockets? If you believe that cover story, you should just head on back to /b.
