>walk up stairs to dimly lit room with a fountain, and art displayed on walls
>near fountain is an entity that is emanating blue light, he looks like an ancient Greek or Roman
>wearing a toga, blue sparks shooting off his body
>I approach him and he holds out his hand
>In his hand is a shiny silver dagger
>I take the dagger and the scene fades to black
>open eyes
what the fuck?

Well i dont meditate that much, i dont think i even do it right.. (i hate i cant do full lotus) but one time i had a particularly strange experience.

I think what i saw was the fabrics of the universe, or some form of analogy(?) that showed me that everything is connected. We are all part of one big thing. However i cant say what that is.

I've had the same type of experience myself! (OP here) The net type thing exists for sure. I had a pretty serious drug problem for a while so practicing complete abstinence now (8 months sober woo) and I have had stronger experiences since being sober as opposed to when using marijuana or other things, never tried meditation while on mushrooms though, that might be a little too crazy. I subscribe to the idea that there is no "right" way to meditate, as long as you are emptying your mind and practicing measured breathing. seated position doesn't really matter, as long as your are comfortable and totally relaxed. I've had strong experiences in the lotus, kneeling like in prayer, seated in a chair, and laying down in bed.

Yeah i thinks so too, however there seems to be ''better'' ways.
Altough, Lotus is not necesairly the best way. I think Buddha had more than what position for meditation (if i am not mistaking). One of them was laying on the ground in side ways, i believe.

Anyone have any knowledge on dreams, or figures that tend to reoccur in dreams?
The other night I had a dream where I signed a contract I didn't read properly. Resulting from the contract, I was put into some sort of weird Russian reality show with a lot of abuse and incestuous undertones. After a few days of enduring this, it was discovered the contract I signed was outdated, and a new one needed to be signed. They tried to trick me into signing it, but I tore it up and was freed.
The dream gets muddled after that, but it turns out that the plot was created by "Jeff Mayner". It was explained that Jeff was a mysterious person, was not famous, and his true identity was known to an extremely limited number of people. However, Jeff somehow had an incredible influence; persuading sports players, politicians, and other influential people in society to follow his plans, usually creating chaotic results. He used disguises, false identities, and multiple agents in order to do these things. Think sort of like a Saint Dane from the Pendragon novels.
At some point during my sleep, when floating between consciousness and dreaming, I typed his name into my phone to remember it, as he got incredibly scared when I discovered his real name, and began trying to implant false memories/names.
Looking back on dreams I've had throughout my life, I recall figures who acted as Jeff did; sneaky salesmen or smooth talking people who would cause havoc in my dreams; turning people against me, creating panic and chaos, etc.
Who is Jeff Mayner? Is it some sort of psychological manifestation of subconcious emotions? Anyone knowledgeable in dream analyzing would be helpful!

Is it possible music can elevate someone briefly into another dimension? I close my eyes and it looks as if I'm moving through a tunnel of lights. I feel completely separated from my body and a rush of euphoria follows afterwards.

I used to be able to know if I had a dream, even if I didn't remember it when I woke up.
That stopped happening a little over a year ago, after I got a second job; I still get a good 6-8 hours of sleep, but I can no longer experience a dream.
I have no idea why having two jobs would cause this.

Hey /x/
Have a dream that needs interpretation.
So I was in deep thought when I had a "vision" I had a wierd feeling in my head that went to my heart, and my mind felt empty. The vision went like so, I saw a person, in clothes, and questioned how many I could make in my brain space, so I made so many that they seemed to exceed the boundaries of the mind. They all wore different clothes but we're all men, I noticed that they wanted to speak, out of fear I stopped them and made them talk myself, being afraid I forgot what I had said, but remembered asking questions that they just repeated. After a second I thought, "hope I didn't turn myself into a schizo" and slept it off. Felt good since and meditation has been easier since also.
Anyways, thoughts? Would like to hear and and all opinions. Also, general dream discussion. Anyone on lucid dreaming and experience. And very curious.
