I believe in ghosts, but I also believe some things that may seem to be ghosts aren't really ghosts. We try to interpret sensory input as something that makes sense. A lot of ghostly activity is in places with a lot of electromagnetic activity, so we may interpret sensory input as a ghost.

That said, I've lived in a couple haunted houses. The most credible ghost story I know if is from my grandmother. She went camping with her family as a kid, and had a dream of a ghost rising up from the ground in the woods nearby. She checked out the spot in the morning, and found a skeleton in a shallow grave.

How can I communicate with a ghost?

I posted about it in the last thread, sorry to repeat myself.

There have been some pretty happy coincidences recently to make me believe that there's a presence around me.

I live with my mum and younger siblings, I'm 19 and we finally got a sleep out, so everyone has been moving rooms, we've been doing lots of cleaning, stuff like that.
On the same day I finished moving into my room, I found and put out healing stones that I had stashed away.
That night I had incredibly vivid dreams (and I NEVER get dreams like that) of a girl possessing me, talking to me, generally being cool and chill even though she was dead.

I am a believer in ancestral spirits anyway because of my Australian indigenous heritage but my gut feelings have led me to believe there is something more going on.

How would one recommend going about possibly contacting such a presence if there is one?

I can do that, too; it's a somatic mechanism. I use it all the time to fake goosebumps. In fact, it's the same mechanism mammals use to make their fur stand on end.

This is quite a spell you've cast here. That or perhaps you're aware that everything is falling down around you. Either way, using this feeling can drain your ability to create music. You will eventually need to find weirder and odder sounds and tonalities, until you run out of audible listeners. Use your newfound "gift" with caution -- as someone who's had it since I was young, I'll aware you that 'feeling the fnords' is quite different than seeing them. You'll be activating things you aren't aware of and be subconsciously held accountable by others.
