Every culture has a different paradigm - different ways of interpreting the world. One culture's "nature spirit" might be another's "angel" might be another's "ancestor/ghost", etc. And each culture has different rites, rituals, etc. All these variations are just foci - ways to get your mind in the right place. Chaos Magicians take this to the extreme conclusion (literally mixing and matching whatever beliefs they want, so long as it resonates for them).

Case in point, I have a lot of pagan-blood from a rather xenophobic region of Spain. None of that modern New Age hippie bullshit. But lots of females who see shit (an atheist who uses tarot cards; a spiritist who used water & glasses; an ecletic who knows shit she shouldn't & then thinks someone told her, etc).

Locally, lots of Santeria (a Catholic/Yoruba hybrid, similar to Voodou and other syncretic faiths). So we visit and they also "see stuff" (colored by their Santeria paradigm). And they can spot the "born witches" - but they always try to sort of convert us over, thinking we "need" to learn their methods (as if losing whatever old-gods once roamed Spain means needing to be adopted by a new tribe). We politely decline and just hang out.

If you're Anglo/Prostestant, look up "witches bottles". Easy to make. Minimal ceremony. Popular among old Christians who wanted a sort of "magical trap" to pick-up negative influences (and even backfire on to the sender).

If you're Hispanic/Catholic, lots of old gods were hidden as Saints. And when they took the New World, Saints were re-connected with West African Gods. You could have a very Catholic looking witchy-set-up.

If you're Atheist, mix-and-match whatever works for you. (And by atheist, I mean maybe a specific faith doesn't appeal to you - but if you're looking at witchcraft, some part of you must believe.)

I wouldn't worry so much about Honduras-specific witchcraft. It matters more than you find something that resonates for you.
