Why don't spoops just tell people they're real? like if I were a ghost I'd find a ghost hunter show an be like "Hey yeah so I'm Anon and I died and yeah ghosts are a thing"
How important is the paranormal in your life?
Is it a hobby? A passion?
Do you spend a considerable amount of time studying and searching for paranormal information/books?
After some thinking i realised that i really would like to dedicate full time to this. But i dont think that i could make a living out of it.
>>18850857
>dedicate full time to schizophrenics, imagination and the non-real
Jesus Christ, don't do that!
I am all ways 100 percent thinking about my conciousness and all that stuff in my daily life
Was very dedicated back in 06-7 when /x/ was legitimately scary and had a fuck ton of information, discussions, streams and things to investigate. Now it's a minor hobby.
hey /x/, some dude randomly messaged me this:
20 17 0 13-4-17-3 8-5 20 3-4-2-8-15-7-4-17-4-3 19-7-8-18
it looks like a code of some sort, im not very sure
care to help?
Fuck

What are your favorite esoteric manuscripts? Bonus points for anything pre-christ era
I like the gnostic manuscripts, it's nice having a peek at what the Christ actually said, unlike what priests claim.
>>18850724
Mein Kampf
>>18850733
>implying they are any more accurate, or that Christ was an actual person and not a composite of several zealots of the time with similar names and beliefs and teachings
I dig them too, but I don't take them at face value.
Okay /x/ I didn't know where else to ask this question but I just assumed I'd ask here because I've seen people ask about demons and that sort of shit here, but anyway that's not why I'm here. About a week or so ago one of my friends converted to some ancient religion I guess, worshipping a goddess named Seras (Not the Roman goddess Ceres or whatever), and apparently she came before Christianity and the jews but at the time was considered a pagan religion, the belief as he's told me goes that Seras created humanity for her own entertainment and upon us ceasing to entertain her she'd do away with all of humanity. When Christianity came along all the shit to do with her religion was supposedly lost and nothing much can be found about her but there are apparently followers of her but they're small in number, so what I want to know is has anyone else heard of this before and is it actually real? I myself don't know so I figured I'd ask you guys as you'd probably know better than I.
Seras victoria ?
>>18850811
Yes, that's the name.
>>18850811
No.
>>18850989
And no I'm not talking about the damn anime character it was supposedly an actual religion.
Prayer has been a staple of human culture and religion for as long as we can all remember.
I've only had prayers save me in times of great strife, such as the time I was spinning out on I-75 in the rain at 65mph. we spun three times and some car should have hit us, or I should've broken some part of my body or worse. Somehow all I did was hit my head and we slammed into a guard rail. all I could do was pray and say, "this is what happens. this is how it is to be. I love you God please keep me safe like you have" (adlibbed thoughts from a major near-death experience). I somehow was physically safeguarded (albeit suffering the worst headache of my life in days following).
this isn't about me though. I would like to hear some of your encounters with prayer, especially confirmation that the prayer has been answered and fulfilled. there is no limit in this thread about what religion you were/are a part of when you chose to pray.
Anytime in history a prayer was answered or a supernatural event has occurred, it was not from the Biblical God or Jesus Christ, it was a miracle from a Godlike being who is not a fairy tale based on a religious book, a being who may not be good at all.

If a mindreader were to read your mind how fucked up would he be? Is the best way to fend off a mindreader to just unload all terror that is trapped in your head at once on him?
>>18849923
I want to die, but I fear it will only worsen my situation
>>18849923
>If a mindreader were to read your mind how fucked up would he be?
If all my depression and self-loathing hit him all at once, he'd at least be paralyzed for a while.

These.
>phone is ringing
>unknown number thus you don't answer
>again
>happens many times in a row
>sometimes hidden phone numbers, sometimes not, sometimes a foreign phone number
>you answer
>music starts playing and nothing happens
>In a minute or so, the call gets ended
I find it a bit creepy. It happened to me so many times, and all of my friends experienced that.
So, this thread is about what the fuck are these calls? What's the point of this? What's the purpose? Does Anon can answer me? I found nothing on the internet about it so far.
Definitely ghosts
or Aliens
>>18849904
The caller wants to say something. Words like yes, no and even hello. It's a fairly new scam. You voice will be used for identity theft etc...
Look it up. I wouldn't say it's paranormal, but what do I know.
Neat time answer it and say "Nashville sperm bank, you squeeze it we freeze it, how can i help you?" if they hang up then the next time say "can i help you with anything... Anything" in a seductive voice. Then just start screeching like a opossum dipped in battery acid
(Note: I'm not religious.)
When I was around 10 I moved to London. A few months later I started going to school. I won't lie, shit was pretty hard for the first month. I had about 10 fights in the first week (won them all), had no-friends, and basically got ignored by the class. I was an outsider. Nobody wanted to play with me.
One morning, on the way to school, I noticed a dark pattern on a paving stone. It looked like a face. On closer inspection it looked like a demon face (horns, evil eyes, pointy teeth). It gave me the creeps desu, so I ignored it and went to school.
I'd see this pattern everyday on the way to school and tended to walk around it rather than step on it, then one day I thought fuck it, I'm gonna stand on it, so I did, and.... nothing happened.
So, I started stepping on this "face" everyday on the way to school. Then one day for some reason I stopped and stood on it for a few minutes. I don't know why, but I started basically praying to this face. "Please let me have friends/be popular/get a gf" whatever. Dumb kid shit.
I started doing this everyday, for about 2 months.
I eventually found friends in the school, became popular, was respected because I'd took on all the tough kids, and school became awesome. I even had a few gfs. I forgot all about the pattern on the road and had a normal childhood.

Then around the age of 15 I started having nightmares. Nothing lucid, just average nightmares. At first it was twice a week, then 3 times, then 4 times, then it was every night. I've had nightmares now everynight since the age of 15 (I'm 30). My only escape was weed. I started smoking weed which would basically allow me to have a dreamless sleep. Close eyes>blackness>wake up. I did this throughout my 20's, until I quit 2 years ago.
After quitting I had nightmares, which is normal after quitting weed, but a year later I was still having nightmares, every night, I have done for the past 2 years. Doctors offer me sleeping pills but fuck that.
I'm a good guy. I've never hurt anyone, I help old folks on the street, I always say please and thankyou, hold doors for people etc The only "bad" thing I've ever done was pray to this goddamn face when I was 10.
I think I've fucked up. I think I've made a deal with the devil. I don't believe in the devil, but it's the only thing I can think of where I've done something bad in life.
I'm not asking for advice here, I just wanted to write this down. I had a dream lastnight that I was being held hostage in some house by "demons" and it has jogged my memory of certain things.
I'm going to offer you advice and a warning. Whether you believe in the devil or not, DO NOT pray to the cunt. Not even as a joke, a dare, or because your dog is fucking dying. DO NOT offer him your allegiance.
That's it. You can all call me a faggot now.
Work with them

I don't think that's very wise.

How can I induce sleep paralysis?
drugs (weed, benadryl, vicodin) sometimes cause my sleep paralysis. a lot of stress can also cause it. focusing on sleep paralysis or shadow people/distorted faces while trying to sleep also makes it happen to me.
but man if youre just tryin to get some spooks, sleep paralysis is not a fun way to do it. you dont know youre safe when its happening. some people even feel severe pain during sleep paralysis
>>18849364
>Set alarm for six hours and go to sleep
>alarm goes off, get out of bed and stay awake for about 20 minutes or so
>Go back to sleep for another two hours, setting more alarms if you want. If you did it right, you won't be able to go back to a deep sleep.
OR
Just set multiple alarms, the first after a few hours and set more to keep waking you up so you kinda hang in very light sleep mode and it should be easier
OR
>Lie on your back, let your mind empty
>Lie still for as long as it takes (could be thirty minutes to an hour) and don't move a muscle
>Your body will test you to see if you're awake by giving you an itch or feeling of discomfort
>Ignore this, resist urge to sleep
This one is hard as fuck for me but it can work. If you manage to do it, try lifting out of your body and you will have an out of body experience and that will unlock a world of new shit that most of the retards on /x/ aren't even ready for. Read up on Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe.
>>18849364
Lay down, face up, look at the ceiling until you feel like sleeping, dont try to sleep, just let the sleepness come be itself, try to remain aware
you will begin having very short lapses of sleep and wake up, like seconds.
then you will not be able to move, and there you are, buckle up
>wake up at night
>hear fucking loud ass banging under my bed
>get out turn light on
>bed is floating like literally floating a foot off the damn floor
>nope.exe
>fucking turn light off and leg it
>go back in the morning so not to get spooked
>everything normal
>never sleeped there ever again ended the lease and slept at parents
this happened a few years back and dont know wtf happened, anything similar happened to youse? any explanation for this?
Never had anything this crazy happen to me. What state are you in, OP? That is some paranormal activity tier shit if you're telling the truth.

The sun is now white. Mandela Effect or change in the atmosphere?
https://youtu.be/dsk9nb7GIVI
I've noticed something like this for a few years now. I mostly chalk it up to either misremembering or changes in my eyes as I age, but interesting to see someone else noticed it
>>18848766
Dude... come on. First of all, the sun looks different depending on the atmospheric conditions. Light filters through the air and that changes its wavelenghts (thats why sunsets are red, because all but red light is absorbed by particles in the air). Everything from time of day, clouds, chemical air composition and pollution will change how it looks. Also, the reason you think of yellow when you think of the sun is because since medieval times the sun was attributed with gold and fire in symbolism (the only bright and glowing things a medival guy knew of) and it was a meme to draw the sun yellow in art that stuck with us. Dont know from what shitty ass universe you came from, but everything in it must have had the color of piss if you only received yellow light all day lol
