You know whats the most scariest thing above all else? Knowing that when you die, there will be nothingness. A void, no self aware, no thoughts, no memories, no feelings of any kind. Nothing. That scares the living hell out of me /x/. I really wish there was proof of an afterlife of some kind that would put me at ease.

That would only be scary if you were for some reason anticipating danger, which you wouldn't be, if you weren't self-aware and all that.
However, I've been led to believe that the truth of life after death is far more terrifying. That is 200% only something I have been told to feel, however.

I won't get into the technical details, as this was a side project that took over a year.
I had written several worms, who managed to get across the network to various computers.
They were coded so after collecting specific types of files, they will encode themselves and try to transfer the moment they'll have the opportunity to.
I found mostly garbage, and junk data, and got bored with the idea.
After about a year, I got something that caught my attention.
It was a worm that stayed in the dark for 7 months, as the servers she was implanted to got disconnected from their previews net.
It was what you call a dark network, a few computers connected to each other, kinda like a private internet.
I managed to find encrypted documents of what appears to be a sub-military organisation.
I managed to recover some encrypted text information, as well as a set of distorted images, all pointing at an unknown location in the desert.
I thought we try to decode everything together, as there's something out of the ordinary in one of the files.
I'll keep you posted.

Alright /x/, what is the true nature of reality? As someone with a cursory interest in metaphysics/supernatural/occult, I need some help.
My beliefs at this time are

> The beginning of the existence of the universe implies a non-material first cause of some kind
> The nature of the mind implies the possibility of non-material substances
> The abundance of anecdotes about supernatural occurrences leads me to believe that some small minority of them are true
> The historical inaccuracy of the Old Testament in the Bible gives me strong reason to suspect that it may not be telling the whole story about mankind's origins/the gods
> The historicity of Jesus makes me believe that he was a real person, and is very spiritually significant
I have a strong desire to know things, but I'm feeling distressed and a bit lost as to where I want to put my time and energy. It seems like the world is going to shit, and I don't know whether to try to fight the decline, or partake in the Kali Yuga.

:/ I'm a bit leery of psychedelics m8. My sister got caught up with a psychonaught and it led absolutely nowhere good. He's some kind of Christian now, but since he wasn't raised in it like I was, so he doesn't have the same skepticism (and I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe all the doctrines). Another buddy of mine was also a psychonaught; went down to South America to take ayahuasca, shamanism, the whole bit. He ended up back as a Christian too, and a Calvinist of all things. He basically spent his 20s on one massive trip in search of enlightenment, and has since sworn off everything now that he is 30 and wants to have a normal life. I've tried weed a few times, but I didn't like it.
When I'm lying in bed, eyes closed in the dark, and halfway to sleeping, I see faint moving images of shows that don't exist. It's like a lot of floating tiny t.v.s, but every time I try to get a better look I end up opening my eyes and they disappear.
Is this a thing with other people? Does it have a name? Is there a better way to get a good look at these moving images?

That's called a Farday cage and it should be enough to block out your standard EM waves. However, that's kind of useless in my view because only God has the kind of technology necessary to read your thoughts with EM waves.

Hello lads, I've been writing shirt stories recently and have a great idea for one, unfortunately I'm fairly new to the supernatural and mythological aspect of cultures and was wondering if anyone was familiar with a vengeful spirit/ghost that exists in any native American cultures.
My research has been only lead me to the ChindI of the Navajos but it doesn't fit my story quite the way I would like it to.
