Uncharted 4 looks better than that man
>>383429958
I wasn't sure at first... but now I am. That looks like a turd.
So who here back in the day had a very weak computer that you ran the mod Oldblivion just to play it? Who here even remember Oldblivion?
I did and I remember how janky it did and how rarely it actually worked for me.
>modded Oblivion to my heart's content when I was 14
>11 years later, I can't seem to figure it out
I blame steam
I'm trying to replay modded oblivion on my super computer and it's still an unstable mess
I was thinking about picking up ratchet and clank but was also thinking about getting killzone sf but all the reviews say it's just alright. Tldr should I pick up killzone shadow fall?
Why not? It's pretty cheap these days.
>>383429757
I heard the campaign wasn't very good though ?
>>383429595
Shadow Fall is not great but given you can get it for $10, it might be worth checking out.
>poor roster missing key franchises
>poor single player modes with abysmal tutorial
>grinding out the ass for assists (why is this a thing)
>poor netcode with limited online options
>already has multiple DLC and it's clear it held back popular units to sell
>no native LAN and "full unlock" options on release (but suspiciously are confirmed for the EVO side tournament)
>no native streaming on PS4 (good like trying to get exposure to the game without this)
What the FUCK went wrong? Couldn't we just have gotten Maxi Boost ON instead of this trash?
>>383429075
I'm pretty sure I saw almost this exact greentext listed for Tekken 7 that probably came moderately paraphrased from some other fighter like KOF or SFV at some point. Lazy shit. Game has like 85 mobile suits and 180 assists apparently so not really sure what the fuck anybody could be talking about unless it's a copy pasta unless they seriously expect them to include every single mobile suit design and pilot ever conceived which would put the roster in the 1000's like a Mugen game. I mean the roster list is so big for this one it's going to contain a ton of suits and characters nobody outside of Japan has ever heard of.
Gotta get that EVO prebitching of fighting games in there eh miserable /v/. Can't help but notice this place focusing down fighters this week for that obvious reason that EVO is coming up.
>>383429075
Is it just a /v/ meme to claim every online game has poor netcode because I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a single fighters has anything other than awful netcode on /v/ yet games like Tekken 7 and SFV which apparently have it awful are fine for me and all of my friends and everyone else I've ever heard from around the world and I've never waited more than a few minutes for a match which barring the other person having shitty internet have been lag and drop free. I haven't heard of anybody else really having any significant problems with this games match making either but it's literally been out for a couple days so pretty early to tell anyway. The roster thing is hot /v/ tier bullshit though, it's absolutely massive. Whether it just ends up with only 10 or so ones getting used competitively like most fighters remains to be seen but again still early as shit. Hopefully they can have a stream for this at this years Animeevo that isn't in rmvb tier quality though.
Which one should I get from the midyear sale?
You should get a job so you can afford both one day
>>383429028
ICE BURN.
>>383428905
Middle Earth is longer.
Ratchet if you've never played the original
How do you go from this...
...to THIS? She got SHORTER?
...to THIS?
...to THIS?!?!
Do we have any legit fighting game players on /v/? And I don't mean masher scrubs, fgg sniffposters, or kappaposters. I mean legit tournament goers that place well or people with actual talent.smash doesn't count
>>383428495
I usually compete in local majors in anime games, and usually top-8 and even won a few.
I think they hangout in /fgg/
>tourney cucks
Can someone tell me if this tv will be okay to play 4k on? (Ps4 pro/Xbox one x) I'm talking input lag wise. I think in game mode it runs at 23ms (is that noticeable)
I play a lot of Halo so if the input lag is noticeable it will annoy me
I posted this on /g/ also but someone said 'if it's not OLED what's the point?' Which I don't understand.
Need help pls
>>383427818
Bump
You won't get 4k with those consoles. You'll get "4k"./30fps
Why would you buy such a small tv for "4k?"
Kiddies on /v/ are getting dumber and dumber as time goes on.
>>383429660
Okay..is 20ms bad or not
The thumbs-up sign had been used by the Galactic Federation for ages. Me, I was known for giving the thumbs-down during briefing. I had my reasons, though... Commander Adam Malkovich was normally cool and not one to joke around, but he would end all of his mission briefings by saying, "Any objections, Lady?" He was joking, but others weren't... At the time I felt surrounded by people who treated me like a child or used kid gloves because i was a woman. And yet, with Adam, I was grateful for the nod... My past has left me with an uneasy soul, and as a result, it touched me on some level that Adam would acknowledge that past by calling something delicate- like "Lady." And I knew more than anyone that every word from Adam was deliberate. My thumbs-down was a twofold response- a sign of derision at being called a lady, and a signal of my complete understanding of the mission orders. The other soldiers were always willing to support me with easy smiles despite the fact that I clearly had so much yet to learn. Among them was Anthony. In the face of his well-meaning behavior, and that of the other soldiers, my response was to become increasingly bitter. I was a child, always with something to prove. A chip on my shoulder.

Best game in the series. Haters gonna hate.
If you removed the story and improved the music, Other M would be a good Metroid game.

PUGS actually has been excellently executed so far.
You obviously know nothing about video games.
I'm not saying you have to like it but for an early access title, it is heavily polished.

RTS games. Especially the Wargame series. Watching reddit get stomped was entertaining.
Dear /v/ how do i get into castlevania?
Super Castlevania IV
Then play Rondo of Blood
Finally, play Symphony of the Night
Don't waste your time on any others
>>383427862
unless it's dawn of sorrow/portrait of ruin of course
Play the first one
Reminder the OG xbox and the 360 could have been the greatest consoles of all time if the japanese actually gave it a chance.
They already are if you're not a blind weeb.
>>383427146
OG Xbox was already one of them
X360 was better than PS3 anyway
At least the few Jap games they got were damn near masterpieces... NGB and 2, Lost Odyssey, Vesperia(in the west)... Playstation gets some good ones but they also get fucking shovelware like Neptunia
>there will never be a game with such a kino storyline like GTA IV ever again

Yes. I almost quit several times in the first few hours and I'm glad I didn't

Movement and combat get progressively more fluid and satisfying as you unlock charms and spells
>game doesn't start with a "taste" of how gameplay feels later
>game doesn't start you with a gameplay mechanic that feels good right off the bat
What are some games that actually do this right?
ITT: Casual filters
>>383426165
Literally 99% games made before 2005
>>383426765
Hmm such as?
I want to hate this game but it's so corny that I absolutely love it. I'm pretty sure that the plot was designed to be as retardedly campy as possible, and they nailed it.
