PUBG was the only shiny gem in a sea of shit for that genre of game. One of the biggest being the speed at which everything is done at. Fuck that "you can build your autistic castle and then just sit inside, you win!". There were a few other games like it but PUBG caught the wave at the right time and stole the lead.

I'm sorry but whenever I hear that, all I can think of are people who are actual shit of the game and need a reason to justify that. There may be hackers (i've never ran into or payed attention to whether a situation is like that) but I HIGHLY doubt there is an "established" community that is rampant in-game. If there was, I doubt I would be able to win almost 10 solo games now. And you better fucking believe that that shit was not easy and I have a fuckload of hours piled up just for that amount. Its easy to scream "hacker" whenever you die which then makes you die even more because you have the mentality that "none of this matters its all hackers anywyas"

As far as bugs and optimization go, I am of the lucky few that hasn't experienced very many bugs, but I do know that that is an actual issue that is being slowly dealt with. But yeah, even now I still have friends who can't play the game because of FPS lag and that needs to be fixed asap.

it still feels clunky as hell. character movement isn't smooth at all. and the netcode could use some work.
