Oh stfu. The game had a lower pricepoint AND it had incredibly high production values and quality.
Sure the game may be smaller than the original but it was also sold at one 3rd of the price cheaper. All around the gameplay in the remake is more polished and controls better than the original.

From a gameplay perspective this is just not true. The gameplay was truely polished.

Because I played it on normal and know that the player character doesn't track his swing to the nearest available orc. Like in Batman, you have to actually aim the control stick/keyboard at an enemy, or you attack the air and lose your combo meter. And you can't kill orcs with counters on any difficulty higher than easy.

So it's the same thing but you have to hold your control stick in a direction (something the player will be doing anyway) and you have to press an extra button after countering to kill enemies. That still doesn't sound very fun.

Mordor is fine but not amazing. If it's cheap go for it, but since you are asking for only one I think Ratchet is the better game and I'm not even done with it.
