If I recall correctly what I heard at one point, it's keeping with the theme of 50s science and societal thought, where there were some vocal proponents that the surviving populations of nuclear war would regress their society to a tribal state after the collapse of organized civilization.

Oh yeah, platformers would actually probably be great. He was a big fan of Super Mario 64 back when it came out, and the Ratchet and Clank series.

The vast majority of them break the game beyond belief and are only held back by their starting levels on higher difficulties where grinding largely becomes a non-factor. They're only good for their extra maps (most of which aren't very good, but that can be said for most of Awakening's maps.)

How anyone gets any satisfaction out of not needing to use even basic strategies in this Turn based tactics game is baffling to me. I mean, I guess if that really is how you get your jollies then whatever. You're still playing the game incorrectly, though.

It wasn't bad but I wouldn't call it breathtaking. But to each his own.

Fallout 4 has some redeeming elements to it.

The settlement system doesnt belong in the game, but when you combine it with the improved loot tables for scavenging, it's honestly a great formula.

I had more fun scavving for materials and building up my settlements than I did with anything else in the game.

Also. Dead Space 3 isnt that bad. It has the best space environments and atmosphere of any game I've ever played.

FF2 isn't that bad. Maybe I just enjoy breaking games
