What are the best pairings in the game? Who is THE best girl?

Best girl is Lucina, best family is Lissa, Robin, Morgan, and Owain. Second best family is Chrom, Sumia, Lucina, and Pega Pony Princess.

The vast majority of them break the game beyond belief and are only held back by their starting levels on higher difficulties where grinding largely becomes a non-factor. They're only good for their extra maps (most of which aren't very good, but that can be said for most of Awakening's maps.)

How anyone gets any satisfaction out of not needing to use even basic strategies in this Turn based tactics game is baffling to me. I mean, I guess if that really is how you get your jollies then whatever. You're still playing the game incorrectly, though.
