How was he wrong?
He wasn't. People only gave him shit because he represented authority. Not only was he right, he also tried his earnest to reason with Cap even after his best friend becoming a cripple.
Cap covering Bucky's ass regarding Tony's parents was also the biggest dick move ever.
In the comics Cap was also an unreasonable dickwad the entire time.
Everyone was wrong for reasons they couldn't correct without becoming completely different people.
Cap confirmed his pleb status in CW. Really looking forward to his sacrificial death in Infinity War :)
Literally why?

Fuck and theieryre going to make it PG 13 too to appeal to a wise audience....
No piece in any single medium of art from the late 1980s till now can compete with ROTS.
It is true 21st century art. It is up there with Byzantine paintings of the works of Wagner.
This piece conveys themes of love, greed, power and politics, the fall of democracy and the rise of dictatorships, the premise is set in a far-spanning war, an age of heroes. It is a tragedy, on the level of the Greeks.
When you look at it as a piece of art, and look at the imagery, the use of digital animation, extravagant clothes, the use of mythology, history, and the message it gives- it almost feels more like an opera than a film.
The film opens with a grand battle in the skies over Coruscant, using kinetic art not seen since Duchamp or Calder.
This entire film is orchestrated with the gothic, incredible ferocity of John Williams' soundtrack, which makes the piece similar to a work of Pagliacci. There is hardly a moment in this that does not feature music.
The fall of Anakin and his duel with Obi-Wan takes place on a planet of fire, literally symbolising the descent into hell.
The duel is choreographed not as a fight scene, but as spectacular theatrical dance. It is visceral ballet.
Throughout their duel, great industrial structures collapse into fire symbolising the falling of industry as the "golden age of the Republic" comes to an end. As they fight, the Emperor and Yoda duel in the Senate signalling the utter destruction of democracy. As the Jedi are wiped out, the Republic crumbles and Padme dies, Darth Vader and the Empire are born.
It shows us the decadence of the Republic, the horrors of war, the corruption of the Jedi Order.
And to end it all, we see the two twins- Luke and Leia, split up and carried by two men, veterans of the conflict, doing their best to get away from it all and help protect these children, a very sentimental message from Lucas, coming from his personal experience on the importance of father figures.
This film is art, crafted by a patrician
dude let's have anakin literally murder children. That's pretty evil, right?
>tfw there are people out there that think this kino is a bad movie
Maybe in a hundred years will it finally be remembered as the apex of mythological hollywood filmaking. We still live in a time when halfbaked toy commercials like TFA are celebrated by critics worldwide.

Honestly, I love Revenge of the Sith
Why did bookfags get so mad about these adaptations?
Everybody else is able to enjoy them as the fantastic piece of cinema that they are, but to this day bookfags are still cursing Jackson's name and consider him some sort of supreme traitor.
Post pasta.
They think the books are some sort of literary masterpiece akin to The Bible or something. Jackson forgot to mention one hill on the edge of Rohan so the whole thing is trash.
>>78997247
Because people will get mad about anything. They assume that if they buy and like something it belongs to them. As much as I like Tom in the books would I fuck have sat through his dance numbers.
Let's be real for a moment here.
What needs to happen in this to make (You) like Star Wars again?
Stop making SW movies.

The last two series which were released apart from the original seven weren't anywhere near as good, although the dinner party episode from nine was one of their best episodes ever.

>Johnny Depp's financial troubles are caused by a lavish $2m-a-month lifestyle, say the business managers he is suing for mismanaging his earnings.
>They claim he spent more than $75m (£59.6m) on 14 homes and that blasting author Hunter S Thompson's ashes out of a cannon cost him $3m (£2.4m).
>The Management Group are countersuing Depp after the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sued them for $25m (£20m).
>Depp, they claim, is "fully responsible for any financial turmoil" he faces.

This is a guy who wrote a book that literally just has the names of movies he likes to watch, and also cried on camera when people called him out about his lame BvS re-write. What do you expect from someone like that?
>>78994599
What's funny about the book is it's literally a list of films everyone should see before they die, but it's just a list of common films literally every man and his dog has seen at some stage, whether they are avid movie goers or not
>>78994599
>Cuckmann turned his hobby into something viable

If you grew up in a certain environment, and watched it 10 years ago, then maybe.
The writer is a regressive shit.

Absolutely. It's timeless and hilarious.
Don't let a writers modern politics impact you're enjoyment of a great show.
