The writers fucked up by closing JLB Credit, which was the central character hub and gave Mark purpose. With hindsight they would have realised JLB Credit is the structure of the show off which everything else hangs, plus normies relate to boring office life.

Mark and Jeremy BOTH unemployed is too much, is depressing, and necessitates wacky storylines for Mark to be a part of.

The quality is fine Series 1 to 6, drop off in 7, 8 is fucking shit, and series 9 recovers somewhat

Just marathoned the first 10 minutes of the pilot, couldn't get into it. This show sucks.

I'm a big peep show fan, i rewatch the entire show every year.

During or after season 6 the quality drops, the characters change a lot, which is fair, so no problem there, but it begins to rely more on cheap humour and quips. That said, it only drops in comparison to its former self, it's still very entertaining and an excellent comedy.
