mike has already cleverly set up for when jay leaves. there are old episodes where it cuts to mike talking to an empty chair. one episode halfway through will cut like that, but it'll stay that way. mike will just talk to an empty chair for the next few years after that.

yeah this was bad. it felt like 2 hours went by and nothing happened, the characters didnt DO anything that really mattered. theres no cause and effect going on from one scene to another.
