>tfw the last good Schwarzenegger movie was in 1994
>>80310501
The Last Stand came out in 2013, though.
>>80310536
And it was a fucking embarassment.
>>80310596
Nope. It was great.
Back in my day, actors who played billionaires who went missing only to come back with unexplained martial arts skills would make the effort to look the part
has he fuck thea yet?
>>80310460
Why are all american super heroes billionaires ?
>>80310744
Lots of free time, good healthcare plan
Alright, place your bets.
How are they going to transition the franchise into Space?
>>80310458
I honestly think they might. Maybe some low-level "hard" James Bond type sci-fi. Something like Interstellar, or Gravity.
Why do people feel uncomfortable with long-standing franchises that AREN'T capeshit? This series is literally no worse that the shit Marvel Studios is doing at Disney.
>>80310458
>1 saga
>not 1 family
Gay
Why couldn't Phillip Banks afford a ceiling in Fresh Prince of Bel Air?
haaaaa what episode is that?
reminds me of when they switched the mother to a lighter skinned woman and Jazzy Jeff comes in the house the season premiere an goes "SO WHO'S PLAYIN THE MOTHA THIS YEAR?"
>>80310418
To prevent Will from raising it.
>>80310616
i didnt know Jazz referenced it twice
Which was the better comic andwhich had the better tv show/films
>>80310348
in terms of comics, asterix beats tintin
but i preferred the tintin film to the live action version of asterix
tintin comics are pure kino
Asterix >>>>>>>> TinTin
I never saw the TinTin film. I used to listen to the radio plays as a child though.
Who's ready for actually good TV to come back? Seems like all the hyped up new series have been a disappointment so far. Only The Leftovers can fill the gaping hole in my viewing schedule.
>>80310270
>schedule.
You actually watch it on TV? With ads and shit?
The fuck is wrong with you?
>>80310349
>HBO
>ads and shit
God damned millennials
>>80310349
>>80310396
It's still a viewing schedule if you torrent it, new eps are out on Sundays.
What is Jason Vorhees? I mean, the original kid drowned in the lake. He's definitely dead. So what is the giant monster with the machete? Is he the physical manifestation of a curse? Or a demon? Is he a flesh golem or a super zombie?
>>80310268
He's an undead retard, literally.
>>80310268
He's a revenant.
>>80310268
he's a demon in jason goes to hell but i don't even know if that's canon
What did I think ?
You thought wearing bombers is cool and nazi chicks are hot.
you thought it was shit.
/thread.
TIL "Nazi punks fuck off" is a real song
>it's quiet
>TOO quiet
>Do you hear that?
>I don't hear anything...
>Exactly.
WHO PLANTED THIS WHEAT
>Monster movie
>Character sees something suspicious for a split second
>"What is it?"
>"It was nothing."
So what's the consensus? I went into Logan expecting it to be generic capeshit but it ended up being true Kino. I would say that it rivals the Dark Knight, maybe even better.
What does /tv/ think? Which is better?
Logan isn't even good, and TDK doesn't have logical flaws like adamantium bullets killing Wolverines or X-23s which can never grow because of adamantium skeletons
>>80309974
>X-23s which can never grow because of adamantium skeletons
She only have claws
Logan is a solid flick, and gets a lot out of the Wolverine character, but he doesn't have the potential of Batman, which Nolan goes nuts with
TDK is a break down on the role of identity in relation to heroism, told in an action movie
Is this just eerie music and scenery?
No there's some acting and dialogue too. Also a witch and a goat. It's a fantastic movie.
>>80309982
I'm an hour in and it's not worth watching the rest. Plus that chick is weird looking from Split.
>>80309909
Could do without the very last scene, but it was still better than It Follows.
Who was in the wrong here?
>>80309852
Billy Mitchell was based.
how much donkey kong country have these guys played? do they select kongs whenever they play mario kart? or are they strictly original donkey kong-only donkey kong fans?
i bet they've tried other kongs even if they won't admit it
Based Billy did nothing wrong

The (((producers))) wanted to make us feel like it was a concentration camp

I finished reading the book not long ago but I doubt they could adapt the whole thing in the running time the 2012 version was. I bet there is a lot of omissions but I wonder if a proper adaptation would be as famous as Lord of the Rings if handled right?
Also was it me or did everything with Marius and Cosette just seemed forced? All the characters were fine on their own doing their own separate things but the relationship just felt hollow to me and a little one sided.
