Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

Your pods speed through space toward the planet Zodge, a trip which you are told will take roughly a month.

You decide to read up on your target, and see that he is a Saiyan Warrior named Tato, who, like many, fought in the Saiyan-Tuffle War. He was a great supporter of King Vegeta's exploration into space, but began to express concerns once the alliance with the Arcosians was established. When Frieza took over, he condemned the Saiyans and King Vegeta, striking out into space and vowing to create a civilization worthy of the Saiyans.

His power level is apparently 800.

In-universe... Compared to what? Better than a clerk, at least the executioner knows how to swing an axe or whatever. A guard? Definitely not. The guard can work with people and has martial training. The executioner kills people who are tied down.

As a player: It's a good character start, has plenty of roleplay potential. Go for it.

“I'll wake the others up” she offers “you get ready.”

The semi-naked Rainyas head out as you quickly splash some water on your face, try to remember which weapons you have stored where in the extra dimensional space you carry around, and then head downstairs. Your friends all greet you in various degrees of wakefulness...except for Kaelyn, who pointedly turns her back on you, and snaps over her shoulder at you “well, are you coming?” as she heads downstairs. You wander what's up with her now.

Of course Jade isn't the only thing you need to deal with right now, if she's alone, and this isn't some sort of trap or trick, maybe dealing with Kaelyn, or Mistress Steel at the Pink Delight takes priority.

I was a little behind on my AskFM, I'm almost caught up now.

Also, my apologies, I forgot that Shee recently met the criteria for gaining her 4th Aspect.

Aspects on offer are:

Domination
Shee has recently been using her mental powers to great effect. Perhaps her enemies are better controlled than killed.
This Aspect is different from Corruption in that Corruption has a wider zone of influence (enemies, friends, the environment) whereas Domination would specifically involve controlling and subjugating Shees foes (or even those she is neutral towards) but would not affect her allies or the world around her.
Passive Bonuses: Adds twice its rank to all power and skill rolls made to control others, including intimidation and commanding, but not persuasion.

Retribution
Shee is willing to viciously punish those that hurt her, or her friends. Justice in this world is hard to find, but you can make sure those that deserve punishment receive it.
Retributions powers are conditional upon Shee or those she cares about being wronged in some way. She can use it against a foe she has a grudge against, but not a stranger – though that stranger would qualify if they had hurt a member of Shees family.
Passive Bonuses: Adds to attack rolls (including powers) that deal damage against those that Shee thinks deserve punishing.

Unstoppable
Shee has taken on some very tough challenges, and walked into traps and ambushes and fought her way out. Perhaps she is becoming an inevitable force that cannot be denied.
Passive Bonuses: Adds to all rolls on subsequent attempts. In other words, if Shee fails the first time, but keeps trying, further rolls benefit from this bonus. The bonus disappears if Shee changes what she is doing (including changing targets in combat).

Boost Existing Aspect
Shee need not expand her repertoire of inhuman powers, she could simply boost an existing one. If this option is chosen there will be a follow up vote on which Aspect is improved, and that Aspect will rise by 2.

yes. Not a bad game but not particularly well balanced. Good flow and UI, however one time I played a multiplayer game against a friend which resulted in a stalemate. I got to a point where I could constantly produce huge waves of skeletons and his Dwarf Hero got to a point where it couldn't be killed fast enough. Resource generation was so abundant no damage could be done faster than it could be fixed.

I guess I play a basic martial character with a fuckton of crafting knowledge? Endgame to rule a town or kingdom? Prefers to just dig through dungeon walls to avoid or destroy traps than faff about trying to deactivate it.

This is pretty much what I'm currently working on as my homebrew project. I aim for a rather nobledark setting, where the world in itself isn't a happy and safe place, but the common people who live in there strive towards good deeds, and changing the world into a better place.

Does anyone use things like stress or sanity is games that aren't specifically Lovecraftian? It seems like an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how my players would take it.

When the other members of our party decided to leave one of their main front line fighters, and the pin cushion creating ranger in the town to trek off into the woods to try to take on the mantis spider monsters dwelling there with a guide, and a bar wench only to all burn to death in an almost continent spanning wildfire created by the party wizard due to a knee jerk reaction even though he was specifically told that the strange goo/wax covering the whole area was highly flammable.

Meanwhile the Fighter and the Ranger are left to rally the disheartened townsmen and dig in for a long siege against the warhost of said mantis spider monsters. The campaign was scrapped after more then half of the party cooked themselves to death.
