A thread dedicated to discussion and feedback of homebrews made by /tg/ regarding anything from minor elements to entire systems, or even inviting people to test your system in Roll20.
Try to keep discussion as civilized as possible, and avoid non-constructive criticism.

Can't be bothered to make an english version right now, but here's the current charsheet (although the Weaponry section at the top left is gonna change in the near future)
The old HUD had to go in order to leave space for the current health system chart thingie.
I'm almost done with most things! I should have a working build 3 in a week or two to share and possibly make a quick roll20 test.
Progressing with fluffy stuff and writing up a weapon table
Pic is some Matrazani hardsuit types
I've been getting desperate for feedback on a Final Fantasy dark knight fighter archetype for D&D 5e. The GITP forums were fucking useless.

T-that's just like, your opinion, man.
If you're putting a game together, certain elements need to be present in one form or another- like Adam, Lillith, etc.
What are some less obvious things people should keep in mind when putting a game together, especially if you're not just putting it in Japan?

Germany Strikes!
11th of November in military history:
1673 – Second Battle of Khotyn in Ukraine: Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth forces under the command of Jan Sobieski defeat the Ottoman army.
1778 – Cherry Valley massacre: Loyalists and Seneca Indian forces attack a fort and village in eastern New York, killing more than forty civilians and soldiers.
1805 – Napoleonic Wars: Battle of Dürenstein – 8000 French troops attempt to slow the retreat of a vastly superior Russian and Austrian force.
1813 – War of 1812: Battle of Crysler's Farm – British and Canadian forces defeat a larger American force, causing the Americans to abandon their Saint Lawrence campaign.
1831 – In Jerusalem, Virginia, Nat Turner is hanged after inciting a violent slave uprising.
1839 – The Virginia Military Institute is founded in Lexington, Virginia.
1864 – American Civil War: Sherman's March to the Sea – Union General William Tecumseh Sherman begins burning Atlanta, Georgia to the ground in preparation for his march south.
1918 – World War I: Germany signs an armistice with the Allies in a railroad car in the forest of Compiègne, France. The fighting officially ends at 1100hrs.
1918 – Piłsudski assumes supreme military power in Poland - symbolic first day of Polish independence.
1919 – The Centralia Massacre results in the deaths of four members of the American Legion and the lynching of a local leader of the IWW.
1919 – Latvian forces defeat the Freikorps at Riga in the Latvian War of Independence.
1940 – World War II: Battle of Taranto – The Royal Navy launches the first aircraft carrier strike in history, on the Italian fleet at Taranto.
1940 – The German cruiser Atlantis captures top secret British mail, and sends it to Japan.
1942 – World War II: Nazi Germany completes its occupation of Vichy France.
1968 – Vietnam War: Operation Commando Hunt initiated. The goal is to interdict men and supplies on the Ho Chi Minh trail, through Laos into South Vietnam.
It is 97 years since hostilities in the First World War ended with the Armistice. It went into effect at 11 a.m. Paris time on 11 November 1918 ("the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month"), and marked a victory for the Allies and a complete defeat for Germany, although not formally a surrender. The Germans were responding to the policies proposed by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in his Fourteen Points of January 1918. The actual terms, largely written by French Marshal Ferdinand Foch, included the cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of German troops to behind their own borders, the preservation of infrastructure, the exchange of prisoners, a promise of reparations, the disposition of German warships and submarines, and conditions for prolonging or terminating the armistice. Although the armistice ended the actual fighting, it took six months of negotiations at the Paris Peace Conference to conclude the peace treaty, the Treaty of Versailles.
Although the information about the imminent ceasefire had spread among the forces at the front in the hours before, fighting in many sections of the front continued right until the appointed hour. At 11 am there was some spontaneous fraternization between the two sides. But in general, reactions were muted. A British corporal reported: "...the Germans came from their trenches, bowed to us and then went away. That was it. There was nothing with which we could celebrate, except cookies." On the Allied side, euphoria and exultation were rare. There was some cheering and applause, but the dominant feeling was silence and emptiness after 52 exhausting months of war.

It weirds me to see that /tg/ never talks about the game that was made for it.
Tell me about your characters
I've discovered it recently and after talking to my friends we are going to start a campaign
We are only 4 people, and I'll be the GM, but because character creation is so funny I made a GMPC as well (seen enough threads to know what NOT to do with GMPCs) so far we have
Warforged promethean big shooter follower of the omnisiah that looks like Eva-01
Dullahan symbiotic knight follower of Sigmar and obsessed with padding chaos
Arachne spellshooter nephilim with magical prowess

Finally, the great day of your wedding has come.
No battle or trial or challenge has ever made you as nervous as you feel today. You've gone sleepless for the last three nights, and you just feel your body shaking anytime you lose, for even a moment, control of yourself.
"You're going to wear that mirror down." Karas groans, trying to get you to stop spinning around and sit down. You struggle for another few moments to make sure that you look perfect for the big day, even though you just checked five times.
Your dress looks stunning, and you've been working on your hair, your makeup, your jewelry, every little detail for the last twelve or so hours.
Everything must be perfect.
"Do I look alright?" You ask Karas, who has spent his last twelve hours in your room with you as well, trying to keep you from melting down. He's hiding his exasperation very well.
He groans. Only a brother would put up with someone like this. "You look better than you've ever been." He reassures you. "I think we're keeping you locked in your room more to prevent everyone out there from falling in love with you at first sight, rather than just because it's a tradition that the bride should stay hidden before the wedding."
"...I'm Tia's bride, but I'm also Amata's groom. How are we handling this, tradition-wise?"
"Don't make this insane wedding any more complicated than it already is."
"What about the flowers?"
"Pyre Spark is in charge of the flowers. Relax." He stands in front of you, as if to discourage you from standing up restlessly again. "Millian's cooking, Radiant Starfall wanted to handle entertaining the guests before the main event, everything is set and ready to go. You just need to wait for midday."
You take three deep breaths.
He smiles. "...Mom and dad would be so happy if they could see you right now."
(cont.)
You feel your strength leaving your body. "...I miss them."
Karas doesn't reply, he just nods.
"...We'll find them. I promise. We'll take back our home."
His expression softens. He sits down on the bed's edge nest to you and hugs you stiffly. "...I just hope they're alright." He whispers. "...I feel guilty, being here, while they..."
There's really no possible answer you could give him right now. You try to cheer yourself up.
By standing back up and going back to the mirror to make sure you-
"Maka!"
"What?" You ask back innocently.
You check your internal clock once more, probably the millionth time today.
Ten more minutes to your planned appearance, according to Amata's schedule.
You briefly wonder if letting a Chosen of Venus handle the planning for a wedding was the best or the worst idea ever.

Welcome to Jedi Apprentice Quest, the 'counterpart' to Brine's Sith Apprentice Quest. This shall be run in a similar fashion to his quest, but it's not necessary to have read his content to follow what happens here.
I'll likely be creating a pastebin for this rather soon, perhaps by the end of this first thread. Now let's have some fun.

Leaning back against the seat of the transport ship, you feel like you were this close to being able to actually taking a nap and dreaming away all of the issues currently facing you. The jungles of Tython below you whizzing past as the shuttle enters the atmosphere of the planet, the ship jostling just enough to force you back into the land of the living. One of the younger looking males on the ship seems to not be handling even that small amount of rustling very well. It wasn't gonna do to be afraid of every little bump and rustle of the night, Jedi were supposed to be the type that weren't afraid of anything, that was how the stories always went at least. You were probably the oldest 'kid' on this ship, only the Zabrak male down near the entrance looking like he was near your age, the rest being small children with a few younger teenagers here and there. "Attention passengers, we are approaching the Academy, landing procedure will commence within a few minutes. Welcome to Tython."

Keeping your arms crossed and eyes closed, it's not too difficult with a little help from your 'gift' to pick up the words that were being said in the transport, little snippets of things at least. The kids seemed to be scared, muttering mostly among themselves, a few trying to hold back tears, likely from being dragged away from their parents. The teenagers, in a way that honestly you should have expected, are all focused on the more flasy parts of being a Jedi. Excited whispers of lightsabers and the glory that could come from fighting against the Sith, all eager to get a piece of the action.
The Zabrak was keeping quiet, seemed like he was actually asleep based off his breathing patterns, or he was even better at hiding that sort of thing than you were.
One person however, is far more composed than even the sleeping Zabrak is. The human woman sitting right across from you, the only real Jedi on the ship and the one that was tasked with guarding it and the future students that were on their way to the academy, which included you. It seemed like the redhead was busying herself with a holopad, there was always more news coming in over the net about the 'Cold War' as people liked to call it.

Is it possible to run a fantasy campaign where transformation magic is prevalent without players turning it into their magical realm?
>Is it possible to...
Yes.
Yes, just don't play with people who cannot control themselves. But if your definition of magic realm stretches to include people transforming into a giant lizardman and wrecking stuff because it's "furry" then you'll have a slightly harder time.
>>43656604
Have their mom play the game with them. Nobody's getting into magical realm shit in front of their mom.
So I run a local ERP group, and we've found that D&D, even with the Book of Erotic Fantasy, hasn't got any rules for using fruit as a sex toy. Obviously, we need to fix that, but I need your help.
A quality thread I saw the other day mentioned grapefruits as being fantastic for males, and obviously there's a long history of using cucumbers and the like for women. But I can't let us stop there, and certainly not without stats. And how do we account for fantasy anatomy? What works for a catgirl? Do we need a pineapple or something? How about dragons? Is that more of a pine tree with a flamethrower rammed up the middle, and if so, how many d6 of damage does it need to deal?
Help me, /tg/. You're my only hope.

This is insane, what does that note even mean? A guy went crazy in here, and apparently he's Ogumo, wait, no, he could have... seen Ogumo? No, that's not what he said in the note, he's Ogumo, but how was he going insane and forgetting his name? The one sure thing is that you don't want that to happen to you.
The sun finally shines it's final moment before dissappearing over the horizon, leaving only a blood-red glow as a reminder, which also fades in time. You sit on a chair, simply staring at the note, the roll of paper containing the last rational thoughts of a person. This... can't be right, can it? You still aren't sure that this is the Dai-Li, you only know of them as the Rebellion, but what if they aren't? You bring back the location of this base, the White Lotus raids it or something, and you get the wrong guys. The obvious use of this organization would be to dethrone the King and unseat the nobility, which you could see. After all, the King sounds like a pushover, even if he's a nice guy, and the Advisor and Queen sound like they abuse their power.
This might be a choice you have to make, you could even help them if you wanted, but first you have to stop the "counseling". You don't want to lose your mind. But this can wait until tomorrow.

Well, I fucked up, but whatever, I'll flip it around.
Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony, but everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. The world slowly smoldered as the Air Nomads were eradicated by the Fire Nation, leaving nothing but empty homes in their wake. The Fire Nation has already started a full-scale campaign on the Southern Water Tribe, beginning the cycle of death anew.
Fifty years this war has raged, scorching the forests and destroying lives. Many have died and all hope of the Avatar's return has been extinguished, but life goes on. The walls of Ba Sing Se, Omashu, and the Northern Water Tribe have held the Fire Nation at bay, seemingly nothing can penetrate them. As always, there is also solace in wandering.
But this isn't a story about the Avatar, or a king, or even a hero, this is the story of Kuo, a wandering Firebender.

So, during my play group previous session we got a huge boon from a royal sponsor. Each of party's five members got 10 000 g that we need to spend on equipment for our expedition.
