>The Bermuda Triangle is actually a holding grounds for god's scrapped villains/bbegs, heroes, and general OCs. Yes even the edgy "nothin personnel" ones he made while he was the god equivalent of a 8 year old, the bbegs he made while he was DMing for his friends, the Comic book OCs he made, ect.
>They were put there because god wanted to make a more consistent setting with a deeper lore and meaning instead of doing the god equivalent of writing horrible fanfiction.
>He did not want to just destroy his mistakes and forget them so he put them in the Triangle.
>The triangle is more of a general zone of stasis than anything else.
>God decides one day that he wants to go back to these characters and try to fix them. Using a copy of one of his settings, the Earth, and putting them the copied Earth's Triangle. The original never having this zone at all.
>He lets them loose upon that one to see if he can correct past mistakes instead of putting them away.
>He's also just really bored.
>The world works via special rules. Each "faction" being balanced so they can still face each other on somewhat equal grounds.
How can you make a good setting out of this for a campaign?

>every once in a while one would nearly escape, because containing a divine self-insert is trying even by God's standards
>occasionally, a boat or aircraft would be around to witness this event
>NOONE CAN KNOW
And that's why people kept vanishing in the Bermuda Triangle.
I've been looking at Adeptus Evangelion v3, and it looks interesting. I've always been a big fan of the show, and an evangelion game would be a nice change of pace. But I am a bit wary because I see it is a homebrew.
Is Adeva any good? Mostly asking about v3 because I don't want to have to learn DH.
Also adeva general I guess.
>>46328654
Just play it.
Yeah, I don't know what BMJ was thinking using DH as the system. Its mechanics really don't reflect the Eva setting at all.
AdEva tends to be janky, but it can be fun. Be prepared to be flexible as a GM and to have to smooth over rough edges.
Also, be clear about the sort of game you want to run. Evangelion is one of those things where a lot of people have extremely different expectations of what it Should be, so making sure your group is all on the same page is basically necessary.

I'm not entirely sure what the most up to date pdfs that are floating around are. Most of what I've seen is at least one print out of date. 5th print Player's Handbook, 1st print Castle Keeper's Guide... and maybe 2nd print Monsters & Treasure? And then a smattering of other books. I don't currently have access to my drive that has all my C&C stuff on it, so I can't check. I don't think it has everything I've seen floating around at one time or another, but you could start by following the treasure trove link in the opening post of the /osr/ thread, if you haven't been there already.
well there does not seem to be a complete collection online

What this game ever finished?
This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son, shortly after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. I will not be incorporating the main show or the Boruto movie's plot into the quest, although some recognizable characters will be present. You play as a 12 year old Chunin graduate named Takeshi. You have been assigned a Jounin squad leader named Hanto, and your two squadmates are Kichiro, a young delinquent, and Ai, a strange social outcast of a girl. You are of average skill in most aspects, although your sharp intelligence, and your jack of trades skill set have brought you far. You have just recently graduated to a Chunin after winning the final tournament. You've been regularly completing missions as a Chunin, and making progress in training. Life is well ordered, but how long can the walls of the village hold against ever approaching storms?

Icy cold water is splashed onto your face, and your lungs are filled with pain and cold air all at once. You gasp and sputter for a few moments, confused, before sitting up and looking around. It's night time, and Sarada is standing in front of you. You're outside of the bunker, laying on the grass. They apparently moved you here, after you were knocked out.
You stand up, a tad wobbly. You hold your head and groan. "What happened?"
Sarada crosses her arms. "We got our butts kicked. By a psychopath."
"What about the people who'd been kidnapped?"
Mitsuki steps through the tree line. "I've just checked on them. They've been drugged at some point, although they're beginning to come out of it. They should be ready for travel soon."
Behind you, Boruto's voice calls out. "Great, we can finally get out of here."
You turn around, and see that he's taking a whiz on a rock. Several feet to the right is a bound and gagged Asuka, who's looking at all of you with two burning pinpoints for eyes.
You rub your eyes, and sigh.

Previously: The colonisation of the Western Continent has continued. As we've created many new settlements, the kaichou have finished their conquest of the southern darkskin tribes. The sashki tribes, sandwiched between the irokni and Sunset Alliance, fled with our help and settled far away, in the Great Plains.
Back in the home continent, the Pajit Empire has begun conquering the rich Prizzid Principalities, host of the last spire on the continent. Kayans, the largest of the city-states of that confederacy, shall soon fall to imperial forces.

N. Send a military force to Kayans. Even if it's only a small force in the hundreds we should partake and observe in the destruction of the last spire.

You pat his arm, “You can tell her. Just… give me a minute to warm her up to the idea first, yeah?”
He nods, “I’ll be waiting by the back door.” He sets you on the street, before leaping over the house.
You let yourself in, mum rising to heat your food as you sit down. “Hey hun.” She grins, “Gettin swole?” She flexes in good natured jest. “You smell to nice to have been exercising.”
“Not quite.” You thank her as she sets your food down, staring at all the papers littered around the desk. “Are these your old notes?”
She nods, “Fourteen weeks, final year project.” She smirks, “And your father makes fun of me for keeping these around.” She claps her hands on the table as you chow down. “So, what have you been doing then?”
You try to search for how to put this. She’s got a pretty flexible world view, but… 8 foot lion man just walking into the kitchen without warning will probably push even her.
“I… think your project, these… Tamagotchi things.” You twitch a paper closer, cute little blocky character designs all over it. “They… evolved, in concept.” She tilts her head, “Did you ever upload the programs somewhere with an internet connection?”
She shrugs, “Well, yeah, college database, that place has got the best connection in the city.” Hmm. “What do you mean evolved though? Someone took my idea, changed it and is selling it?” She frowns, “This why I never cared for capitalism, I tell you-”
You cut her off before she can start rambling, “No, when I say evolved… I mean, like, Darwinian. They became tougher, stronger, smarter. They have a whole world, and I was there. I was there for seven weeks in the space of one afternoon, and my friends are in there still, trapped.”
She tilts her head, “Did you hit your head or something?” She asks.

People are always talking about how MTG is running out of design space, so let's see if we can prove them wrong.
Come up with an original keyword ability!
>Reinforce 1 (At the beginning of your upkeep, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature. At the end of each combat phase, if this creature attacked or blocked this turn, remove all counters on it.)I may or may not shamelessly steal all your ideas for a campaign.

What does tg think of redwall?
>>46338225
It's great.
I'm on phone so it'll take me a while to type this up but has anyone ever run redwall as a campaign/setting? I know mouseguard exists but with all the different races of redwall I feel that especially for someone unfamiliar with it it would be a blast to run

The crowdfunding didn't particularly entrance me. What makes it different from every other not!MtG LCG?
>>46333018
Yeah, I don't think there's any chance of me getting the physical version. I'm way too cheap.
There are some big differences, though:
-You start with 10 cards and build your deck from the 24 card codexes of 1-3 heroes as you go, to adapt to the situation
-Because of this, one deck does a lot of different things rather than being really good at one thing
-Attackers choose their targets, but the defense has "patroller" slots that give benefits like +1 armor, draw a card when they're destroyed, etc
The game has an RTS motif that goes a lot deeper than you may realize from the start. Because your deck stays really small through cycling and removing the things you don't want, you can re-use units and spells quite a bit.
The Kickstarter has a video that sums it up pretty well: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sirlin/codex-2/description

Weird setting dawg. But good on you for going full force on it.
Good luck getting players.
My party is up against a Huge foe for our very last session of a very long campaign. How do you have a flavorful fight with something that massive? He is basically a newborn evil god that the party has been preparing all campaign to fight. I dont want it to be like every other fight, i want something special here. What do you guys do for fight of this size?
Also post pics of evil looking humans if you dont mind.

I watched this movie yesterday and it got me in the mood for a western RPG.
Any good wild western RPGs or even wild western settings?
Savage Worlds + Deadlands Reloaded, remove weird supernatural stuff if that's not your bag, enjoy
Alternately there's Boot Hill if you want to get really old-school I guess
