I thought they said Humility effects were a mistake.
People called this ages ago
Actually now that I think about /tg/ thought that Emrakul was already in the moon or was THE moon
>Phyrexia takes 10,000 years to defeat
>The Eldrazi take 3 months to defeat
JUST
Have at it.

I've got bad news for you.

He has Abyssal Gonorrhea? Really shouldn't have fucked that demon?
>>48143654
If it's wrong to fuck a demon then I don't want to live in this world anymore.
Well /tg/, will you take the Palinchron, High Tide, and Snapcaster Mage OR what's in the mystery box?
I want to love this card, but it just feels so weak.
>>48162519
Palinchron, High Tide, and Snapcaster mage. That's just mad fucking value.
Also this card seems pretty weak to effects that manipulate the top of the library. Like say: Top in response. They look at the top 4, and put them into their piles. If the face-up one has a new card then you know exactly what's in the face down.
>>48162613
Ooh I'm sorry, your Laboratory Maniac is now gone, but you can always use your Mage to play again!
So, I am really desperate now, since I do not understand one thing about D&D (5th edition). I am new to it and I haven't played it before. I am reading the Player's Handbook and watching some videos, but I don't understand shit.
HIT DICE AND HIT POINTS
Okay, so let me put you in my shoes:
I created a lvl1 druid, high elf. Now, the PH shows me that the Hit Dice for a druid is 1d8. And to get my current max HP, I have to add my CON modifier to 8 (because this is the max Hit Dice). My CON mod is +2.
>8+2=10
Now, this is my maximum HP at this level.
But I do not understand, that if I level up, how do I calculate my new max HP?
And what does this mean: "Each time you gain a leveI, you gain 1 additional Hit Die. Roll that Hit Die, add your Constitution modifier to the roll, and add the total to your hit point maximum."
What does it mean, that I "gain 1 additional Hit Die"? Do I get to roll a physically another d8 or what?
Please help.
>>48160946
You roll the hit dice and add the result to your total hit points. This happens each time you go up a level.
>>48160946
Each class lists a hit dice that you roll every time you level up in that class. You take the result and add your constitution modifier. Add this number to your current maximum hit point total and you have your new maximum hit point total.
This is how it works with 3.PF as well, if you ever play one of those.
>>48160946
>Do I get to roll a physically another d8 or what?
Yes, so your new maximum will be 10 (what you had at first level), plus the 1D8 roll, and +2 for your CON again.
How would you make a space opera setting based on disco music?
Starchildren (https://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/9/9036.phtml) but in space rather than on dystopian Earth?
Traveller but with more shiny plastic and cocaine.
Copy Interstella 5555

It's happening.
What are some RPGs where I can both shoot guns and fling spells?

GURPS
Is Warhammer Fantasy RPG something that would work for a homebrew Berserk RPG? Or is there a system that better handles large formations and giant monsters?
>>48156882
WFRPG isn't particularly good at large battle formations, and you sure as shit won't be as badass as Guts is when facing giant monsters.
Giant monsters KILL you in WFPRG, and frequently weather or not you're strong enough to survive it depends on luck and how lenient your GM is willing to be about how many enemies you fight and how much experience you get and how powerful of equipment he's willing to give you.
People say Dark Heresy is tough, but much like all of 40k, Dark Heresy is Bitch Mode compared to WFRPG.
>>48157012
I feel liek WFRPG might be good for a non-heroic Berserk experience though, like if you were Rickert or any of the minor Midland knights. I mean, if you're not part of Guts' New Party you're not going to be fighting Apostles or creatures from the Astral Realm unless it's set after the Conviction Arc or Falconia is founded.
>>48156882
Did they do everything in 3D? It looks like fucking shit.
Yo, rampan/tg/irlymen, let's think of some stupid spells.
I'll start with
Power Word : Impotence.
Also pic really not related.
Detect Phlogiston.
Had some use back when Spelljammer was a setting, but since the universe's metaphysics forgot about it, you just never detect anything.
But Touhou is always related.

I make efforts to avoid it. I know a few good people who are weabs. They are a minority among weabs.

This is MapTool. The program in question does not make tokens look very pleasing when zoomed out, but it does a fair job when zoomed in.
So what became of all the old edition war? I hardly see anybody even interested in 4e anymore.
>>48155389
> I hardly see anybody even interested in 4e anymore
You answered your own question.
How does it feel to know that 5e has completely won the edition wars and 4e is the resounding loser?
If 4e is "so easy to DM," then why does it have the biggest rift between number of games and number of players out of the D&Ds?
>>48155446
Because no matter how you try and claim that roleplay doesn't need to rely on complex rules, the edition boiled down to throwing the biggest numbers you could with a boring, sterile "everybody is special" mechanic to soothe idiots who couldn't figure out that if the figher was too boring they should have played a Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian, Eldritch Knight and any other number of melee characters with abilities and spells.
Do Space Marines suffer withdrawal from their combat drugs?
Taldeer a cute.
A CUTE
>>48155221
Physically? Likely not.
Mentally? Probably. The thrill of combat can be just as addicting as any other drug.
Winners don't do drugs, silly.
Unless they are Eversor Assassin. And those are less about being a winner and more about making sure everybody in the general vicinity loses.
