I found a crate of my old minis plus my 5th edition WFB books. Such memories...
My 3 year old daughter fell in love with the orcs and we played with them a bit before she went to sleep.
After tucking her in we talked a bit and she asked me if I could get her a girl orc too. And of course I HAVE TO get her one.
So dear /tg, I ask you if there are any non-hypersexualised woman/girl orc miniatures out there..
The ones I've found seem to be in the "big boobs & skimpy clothing" or "ugly as shit hag" categories...
Also non-sexualised woman orc pic thread.

>female wfb orcs
got bad news for you, OP
>>48164067
If that picture is the type of Orc you're looking for then you should take a peak at whatever Games Workshop is calling Wood Elves these days.
>>48164131
Yeah desu OP you'd have better luck looking for bestial elves and painting them green than searching in vain for cute Orcs.
Most mini companies stick with very brutish-style Orcs, and only a handful do females of any description.

Whats a good shanty for the crew of a damned ship to sing?
>>48163192
I dunno, shanties have a cheerful tune. You probably want something more somber, like Lament for the Makers.

Oh, it depends on the ship. Something happened and it never returned? "Hurrah, me boys, we're homeward bound!"

What is the best dnd edition?
I would like to run a campaign with a group that just wants to build a fort, paid for by adventuring exploring tombs/ruins.
>inb4 don't play dnd
Sleep tight porker
>>48162643
3rd edition has an entire sourcebook devoted to that. Stronghold Builder's Guidebook
>>48162643
focusing on the build a fort bit,
3rd edition had leadership as a feat that gave you an army of goons.
Second edition had it as a class feature for fighters.
pathfinder has ultimate campaign a sourcebook specifically for dealing with base construction that would easily work in 3rd or 5th edition, opinions on it are mixed.
4th edition made everyone mostly self sustaining and really didn't feel like you needed a party to do things.
5th edition is stripped down and simplistic, on it's own I would consider it the best edition.sleep tight porker
I hear 3e is not good though?
Hence why 3.5 came out.
Has to be some old school dungeoneering as well as fort building.
Sharing is caring.
Seeking out the Giant expansion for Fellowship.

The universe is too big for its own sake. It has no identity.
It strikes me that that Commoragh is one of the few genuinely interesting places in W40k and one of the few places that could be described as genuinely cosmopolitan (although ruled by insane vampiric lords and ladies who torture people for shits). In any case, I wrote some fluff for the place. Feel free to add.
The Eldras Yinnead (or the Dark Eldar as they are colloquially know) represents the greatest danger and both the greatest opportunity for humans and other aliens within Commoragh. All DE carry within them a constant need to inflict suffering on others to sustain and feed their own twisted souls but how this suffering is gained fluctuates depending on the age of the creature in question. The house of a mighty Archon has many human servants and slaves. Though they are not used for defence (they would be too slow and ungainly to prevent an assassin) they are used for the numerous tasks that DE are too arrogant or too lazy to do themselves. This includes everything from dusting the master’s trophy cabinet to polishing his silverware. Others prepare meals and manage accounts. Humans can be artists, craftsmen and women, chefs, accountants and managers. In many ways they occupy most of the junior (and some of the more senior) positions in the day-to-day running of an Archons world.
Humans do not scheme like DE and if they do lack the intense bloody mindedness and subtlety of the DE mindset to plan a coup. They can experience gratitude and loyalty that a DE will never even slightly feel. They also fear the horrors that their masters can inflict and this keeps them true to those they serve.

Older Archons require the deaths of hundreds a day to stave off the ravages of the thirst. Butchering a trusted servant is tiresome in that it does not leave the Archon fulfilled and then forces them to find a replacement as efficient as the last. In this manner, working in the house of older more powerful Archons is possibly one of the safest positions in the Dark City. The factory fuelled horror old Archons have to imbibe daily tends to leave their servants safe (or at least safer for the taste of some Archons and nobles is varied and may not end in death).
Truly however the most dangerous position in the archons household is the position of food tasters (who tend to frequently die horrible deaths) and that of nanny and maid to the young. When reaching adolescence a single soul can sustain a DE for almost a month and many a Lord and Lady has walked in to their offspring’s room to find it spattered with the blood and viscera of the their son or daughters hapless apparent guardian.
A DE’s twisted mind reacts in two ways when presented with non-DE specimens, food or work. For nourishment, DE tend to prefer stock taken from peaceful and happy worlds, the reasoning being that the suffering gathered is greater when the stock come from the giddy high of safety, to the draining horror of a Kabals extraction chambers. Stock taken from brutal worlds tend not to produce the same quality of extract and worse still have spirits that are tough to break. They may also be exceedingly unruly and may even fight, brawl and escape during transit. Much of the Dark City’s human communities (and there are many) have sprung from the children of such escapees.
>>48158982
For status, DE enjoy capturing and breaking members of the Adeptus Astartes (the Emperors Space Marines) but this is mostly for their own jaded satisfaction. In truth, DE tend to avoid Astartes where they can. Their heavy armour, supercharged metabolism and speed when combined with centuries of combat experience and inordinate amounts of firepower makes them ferocious and formidable fighters. There are many Kabals who have broken under an Astartes assault and though a marine fetches a fortune for sale to the arenas, it takes a bold and well-prepared Archon to go hunting for the emperors finest. There are rumours that some of the most creative and fearsome archons have Groteques and Wracks made from Astartes stock and delight in turning these favourite toys against the Emperor’s servants.
I much preferred Commoragh back in the 3e codes, and fluff hints from the DE section of the website (remember that cool story that an Archon tells his human captive, but never finishes.) It was so much cooler when it was vaguely hinted at that the capture and torture of lesser races had something to do with how the DE escaped Slaanesh without soulstones, but was never confirmed, and could very well have been the Archon just fucking with his captive, and actually have nothing to do with it at all, and in-fact just be something they do for fun in addition to staving off Slaanesh another way. Again, the hints that the Heamonculi torturers were the inventors of how to "sate she who thirsts" further implied something, but it never flat out gave anything away. Part of their beauty and horror was the fact that the unknown is always more terrifying that what's explained. It's Alfred Hitchcock vs Hostel, and now all the drama, flair, and mystery seems to have been drained from an otherwise characterful army.
However, given the overexposition that the recent 'dexes have given us, your headcanon is at-least as good if not better than existing fluff.
How would you do a system based on the hit 2004 film Mean Girls, written by Tina Fey?

stupid gimmick
What do your players do with all that money at the end of a campaign?
Try to money-launder it into their next characters.
For example, one took an "apprentice", bought him lodsagear, and then played that apprentice in the next campaign. Another buried it, and had their next character start with a treasure map. A third sneakily asked me where I wanted to run my next campaign and hid a cache of spellbooks in a library nearby.
It failed, of course, because I'm the DM. The spellbooks and treasure were dug up by the BBEG and the apprentice got robbed on day 1. Now their enemies have all the gear they tried to give to their successors.

That's hilarious and you're bad person for not indulging them.

Ale and whores.
Could someone explain what exactly Broquest is and if it's still active/relevant or whatever? Did /tg/ come up with it or are we just fans?
I've found wikis, CYOAs, fanart, and more but nothing really says exactly what it is. Then I see stuff about it being a videogame in development but can't find any news. What's up?
Oohhh boy
The tl;dr is that there was CYOA threads where people picked from like, 5 or 6 stereotype classes to "adventure" with, and there used to be stats to fuel discussion. It's basically all worthless and for the sake of discussion, nobody actually ran anything to my knowledge.
And then it took off and people started adding more and more cliche characters and building fanfiction and eventually people tried building an RPG but it failed and the dev team only made a cheap Castlevania arcade game of some sort.
Doubt it's active, last I heard the artist or something went to work on a scam porn game
>>48147234
So it was basically just an early, uber-popular CYOA akin to Towergirls?
Also, was /v/ in on it as well? I've found a few threads of theirs archived talking about it.

● Read the cards.
● Lurk
● Read the cards please.
● Google your Deck before you post it here. If your deck is/was competitive it will probably have topped an event.
● Most games have single rounds or a best of three match; matches are encouraged as they teach you to make use of your side deck for tournament play.
● Remember to playtest and try suggestions before you trash them, even if someone recommends a weird tech choice. You don't know everything.

I'm happy with the new gemini support that's coming in Invasion of Venom
Now I wish that this guy also receives some new support maybe a new deck like Felgrand
Tellarknight Vatraemus
Rank 4 DARK Warrior-Type Xyz Effect Monster
ATK 2600
DEF 550
Materials: 2 Level 4 “tellarknight” monsters
(1) All face-up monsters become treated as DARK-Attribute.
(2) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 LIGHT “tellarknight” monster from your Extra Deck by using this card as Xyz Material (This is treated as an Xyz Summon, and Xyz Materials attached to this card also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.), but for the rest of this turn, you cannot Xyz Summon monsters. This effect can be activated during either player’s turn, if you have 7 or more “tellarknight” monsters with different names in your Graveyard.

http://vocaroo.com/i/s0a7FBNwjx0x
"You ever heard of Steam engines, Private? The Heart and soul of the industrial Revolution? They are kinda like Plasma reactors...They Boiled water and kept it bottled up tight, Using Metal pipes and rubber gaskets,
Instead of Exciting gases into a high energy state and bottling it all up with magnetics, Yeah?
Well... They called the steam in there 'Living steam' Treated those Engines and boilers like prisons and yokes, Harnessing a living demon to do their bidding. Because if a pipe burst, Or a gasket blew? All came undone. THeir iron trains, their wooden boats, their brick factories. Nothing could withstand the rage of Steam unleashed. Men were flash-broiled, Walls blasted over and the whole device could come apart! That's all cause of pressurized Boiled water... Now, what do you think will happen if our little Magnetic's shut off? What will happen with all that Live Plasma?
And just look at that reactor. A big Magnetic donut with a Stellar filling… That fucker right there, Humming along…. It keeps me up at night. "
Requesting a raspy voice for this one.
"Witness, Your grace.
The death of our nation, The death of our people, The death of the very land that sustained us. All to ash, All to bone, All to rot.
All for you.
Sing, My liege, Sing out for us who will die for you.
Let your words rouse these bones once more!
Let your cry sharpen our blades!
Let your song be the execration of our Foes!
We Stand with you in this death, My lord,
By your hand this world will know the price of courting the stars."
What Kind of story do you imagine when you see this pic?
Bunch of hippies decided to go back to nature but still want to stay near the city in case they need medical aid, the weather goes particularly bad or their harvest spoils.
