I have a supers game coming up and I want to play a character like the Alice in this image. How do I do it without it coming across as creepy/fetishistic?

Do you play with prudes, or ero-friendly players? It's different for each.

Prudes, you're alice in wonderland/harley quinn. You're way too innocent and have no idea about what birds and bees do.

Non-prudes, you can start talking about how you dwarf your helpless prey and they're compleeetly at your mercy.

General recommendations.

Stars Without Numbers,

They have Mechs, spaceships, and on foot gameplay.

Technically the mechs wouldn't stand a chance against spaceships, so if you want a more Gundam feel I'd just treat the mechs as spaceships to even out.

You can even play a psychic if you want that "Newtype" feel

Depends on the tone you want.

I'd use Battle Century G, but it's specifically intended for over the top animu mecha stuff, so if you want something more grounded, it might not suit.

Best looking and worst looking model for your main faction you play in 40k. Mine Orks. I don't think Orks have any VERY bad looking models but the Stompa can look really dumb especially with the dick kannon. On the flip side I really like the Deff Dread, it's super really customizable and just has a really good combination of Orky, mechanical, and ramshackle. You got to love the klaws and saws too.

Imagine:

Lexicus is a large, yet obscure demiplane on the edge of the universe. Demigods and minor gods converge on it, wanting a piece of the pie. But there's only one catch: the only sentient beings there are monstrous. Kobolds and orcs, lizardmen and bullywugs, kingdoms of these monsters have sprung up everywhere.

Some of the monsters were taken there in order to colonize it for the glory of their god, other gods transported them to the demiplane to save good-aligned monsters from the wrath of their evil creators. But one thing is certain: the monsters here are surprisingly amicable, and nearly all are neutral or good-aligned. The good and neutral demigods who colonized the plane agreed to keep all evil gods out to reduce war and strife, though demons still occasionally find a way through...

If you want to become a god of this new world:

1. Name the god, determine what he represents, determine his alignment (Good or neutral only).
2. Name the race. You can choose a race that someone else has taken, they will become a different tribe or offshoot. Why was the monstrous race transplanted to the demiplane? What gifts or changes were gifted to the monsters?
3. Telll us about the race's history. After getting transported to Lexicus, what did they do? Where did they go? What is their society like? What are your race's favored classes?

If you want to become a demon lord or an evil god:

1. What is your name? What do you represent?
2. Why are you here? Do you want to lay claim to a race another god stole from you, or bring your own loyal worshippers/demons to help claim your own little piece of the pie?

Example of a neutral/good god:

Haldur, Chaotic Neutral (leaning towards Good) god of shared pleasures, the arts, and recently single parents.

He is patron of the Bloodwine tribe of gnolls. About a century ago, drunk on nectar and giddy on ambrosia, he took to bed with Lamashtu, Mother of Monsters. When he woke up about fifty years later, head still buzzing, he found that he was father to a healthy and relatively peaceful tribe of gnolls. Horrified at the thought of Lamashtu turning his children into demon-worshippers, he spirited away the gnoll tribe to Lexicus, where they would hopefully develop without her negative influence. They turned out to be surprisingly intelligent and good-natured, having a particular affinity for history-keeping, storytelling, and music. They also had a penchant for cannibalism, but Haldur learned to ignore that.

The Bloodwine gnolls are aware of their divine and demonic heritage, and they often joke that it makes them "Mary Sues." They have no homeland, but are generally content to live a nomadic lifestyle. They have a morbid sense of humor but care deeply about those they cherish. They fear being enslaved to Lamashtu and love earthly pleasures, and as a result their favored classes are Paladin and Bard.

I am the Goblin God of Ingenuity. I represent science, cunning, crafting, street smarts, and madness. My motto is "Science is not about why, its about why not." My ancient wisdom knows that testing is a waste of time. Who cares if it blows up. Science!

My gift to the goblin is knowledge without wisdom. They'll make good use of it.

To do a proper Arnesonian campaign, you need mass combat/skirmish rules for the overmap army stuff. Chainmail's pretty screwy, but there are other options. What do you guys think is the best way to handle army conflicts?

I don't know, is it really? It seems pretty flexible to me, if loose. It kinda resembles OD&D in that way.

Anyhow, for other options I'd probably say third edition Warhammer, that's the last one before they fucked it up and it turned into Herohammer, right? I'd just use the rules and basic army lists and ignore the Old World fluff.

>How do you feel about supernatural creatures influencing human history?
All the games I've run so far have always been modern day, but at some point in the future my group wants to play Mummy, so I wouldn't be against it.

My only concern about a game where the players get involved in historical events is that I don't want history to overshadow their personal stories. Ideally, they should be getting involved in events that are big enough or vague enough that their actions still matter in the grand scheme of things, and aren't just dictated by what we already know has to happen.
>>
Is there a way to tell what is and is not a 2e book? I've been out of the loop for a while and don't know whats been released in my absence.
>>
So now that it's been out for a while, anyone have enough experience playing / storytelling MAGE to be able to talk about the rules more concretely?

How relevant & interesting have the new Paradox rules been in your games?

Has Time magic been disruptive to your games, like so many feared after the first full PDF dropped?

Generally, what're your opinions on how well the game runs?

In a world were good or evil are solid, concrete things, a "good" demon doesn't really make sense.
I've seen the argument "If an Angel can fall, then a Demon can rise." As well as "They're built around the very concept of deception and temptation." And "Stop being a Waifu fag! Don't stick your dick in EVIL!"

Ignoring all that; Demons a cute.

That dress and haircut look really bretonnian to me.
>>
>>50726735
>>50726005

I could honestly see Tilea or Estalia hitting the industrial revolution before the Empire, it depends what resources they have available

The infrastructure is slightly more open to development with a lack of vast quantities of beasties lurking in dark woods

It's ok to say beastmen are no much for tech but the empire needs to be lucky clearing them all the time, the beastmen just once.

On anothrt note. The elves and college of magic really need to come up with a safe disposal method for warpstone as well, no good burying it. If it's really congealed magic you'd think there would be a way to channel it off or utilise it somehow
>>
>>50726784
The Mousillon book doesn't specify, and I've never seen any indication what they are.

I imagine there are a fair number of Blood Dragons and not a few Strigoi who can find easy prey in that horrible place. I'm not sure if Lahmians would bother with its debased nobles, though they might back Mallobaude. The Necharchs may find it a magical curiosity.

I think there are a lot of mud-blood and independent vamps there, though. The WFRP 2e sourcebook provides an example vampire NPC who is one of Mallobaude's strongest supporters, but he doesn't have any identifiable bloodline.
