Are there any D&D drinking games? Or do we have to make one?
>>50733275
D&D is a drinking game
>>50735984
No, D&D drives you to drink. There's a difference.
>>50733275
Ain't that beer gonna get warm by the time they're done?
But for the topic, there are probably some, but they're easy to make.
Take shot on finishing off a goblin, saying the word "loot", whatever.
I'm working on a concept for a villain and could use some feedback on this asshat. Most likely system is pathfinder.
>Villain is a Vampire Lord
>Creates ritual to bind himself to the blood of all individuals of his former race (either Human or Elf)
>Now whenever he dies, he respawns in the blood of a pseudorandom person and takes them over
>Pseudorandom because he never gets someone in direct sunlight or otherwise in a dangerous situation for him
>No longer needs to feed because he siphons an imperceptible amount of blood from everyone
>Remains at max power constantly because of this
>Is capable of activating the respawn manually to foil most capture methods or to emergency teleport
>Ritual was Artifact level so the respawn (and ONLY the respawn) is unaffected by mortal level antimagic and dispels
>Has normal vampire abilities and weaknesses otherwise
He'd be an annoying jerk who claims that the only way to kill him is to kill every [Human/Elf delete appropriate] on the planet, but in reality still has a vulnerability to soul trapping and hopping to a plane without his pet race and killing him there.
Any suggestions on how to make him more annoying (to make his permanent end more satisfying) or ways to kill him I may have missed? As far as characterization goes, I'm thinking he'd be a complete edgelord that constantly goes on and on about how he's the shadow of the race and will always exist as long as their evil does. May or may not wield katanas made of blood, I dunno yet.
>>50732983
>Not having him wear super dark clothes with spikes on them.
Yeah you missed a few.
>Not having him cut himself to show his enemies how "cool" he is
>Not having him die and say "I am the darkness and darkness is forever"
>Not giving him a ass kissing sidekick that is just as edgy but can actually die.
In order to trap him, you need a blood ritual where you sacrifice a priest to the vampire gods, then disembowl the priest mid transformation on a blood moon. That way the entrails can come alive and tell you the vampire lords edgy childhood secrets.
>>50736084
>"The entrails, they move! We've sacrificed much to get this far, tell us the Vampire Lord's secret!"
>The entrails gurgle, "He watches Hellsing. The anime."
This is the setting of your next RPG campaign. What is you campaign like?
Are you starting a thread about this on every board for some reason?
>>50732565
The /m/ thread isn't mine. And as a setting, the Kerberos Saga is a really interesting example of worldbuilding that might spark some cool discussion on /tg/.
And this is...?
Sup /tg/ it's mad Friday in the UK and I've been given the night off to shitpost and tell stories.
Some of you may know Britbongsteros well others may be experiencing this for the first time.
>Wat is this?
Think a less regular all guardsman party but OP is usually drunk and there are spectacularly more spelling mistakes.
They're also stories from my long time gaming group that I enjoy telling. Also penguins. /tg/ seems to have rather enjoyed the last few threads and you never know you might too.
There's more here https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Britbongsteros
>What do I need to know to follow this? There sure seem to be a lot of words on that link.
There's a party of six characters, a DM, and a whole world of weird out there.
We actually have two new stories for you all. If anyone leaps on this I'll give them a choice.
>Britbongsteros and Africa
>Britbongsteros and the chamber of maximum fuck
>>50730885
What is the world of Britbongsteros like?
A world much like our own, except with a very healthy dose of alt-history and magic. There's bits of every possible mythos and additionally the DM hates you and everyone you've ever loved.
Dramatis Personae:
Angus - An orc from Dundee. Originally a greengrocer but also horrendously proficient with the flamethrower he carries. The flamethrower doubles as a thermic lance.
The bard - A human, wears a kilt, plays the bagpipes. Occasionally has great ideas. The DM uses his own taste in music for what the bard actually plays (so usually classic rock or country & western).
Cruella - Essentially a Dark Eldar wych wearing more clothes. She is vicious and stealthy. Armed with two daggers and a sword that she talks to.
The wizard - Not actually magic but can command metal (iron) and summon various sharp or pointy things. Including chainsaws.
The Navvie (also called Burt) - A very large human with a hammer. He hits things with it.
Aldous - A dwarven knight. Wears full plate. Carries twin revolvers and a gatling shotgun. Smokes a pipe. The more observant amongst you might note that this is also me.

So, I'll give this a few minutes and let anon decide, or I'll pick one.
Should there be more than one anon, dubs decide.
I'll give it ten minutes.
Oh and as usual the MST3K mantra applies, so while in theory we are all dead, we like to get the group back together every so often. Both adventures having taken place within the last three months, they fit into the overall storyline but with some extra little bits and bobs. I have a feeling one is going to turn into a new arc.
>Comic
Haven't heard from drawfag in a while - I'll chase him at some point soon.
This is the last thing we were talking about
>pic related
Have you ever played/ran a game with weird planetary setting, /tg/? Perhaps a ring world like pic related, maybe a single-biome planet, one that actually is flat, or a moon orbiting a gas giant. Thinking about creating a setting that isn't just a sphere with oceans and land. What are some interesting ideas you've seen here?
my system has a dyson sphere split in to and a flat planet.
been toying with the idea of a magic terraformed world but nothing other worldy. bumpin for good ideas
>>50727884
>a setting that isn't just a sphere
Would be needlessly complicated in terms of physics.
>>50727929
I have never understood how a Dyson Sphere is supposed to work. Rings are easy. You just spin them. But that doesn't work for spheres. And yours is split in two even, so it's even more of a problem.
Did the architect just have too much energy to burn and set up rockets everywhere?

The Warren seems pretty legit.
So, i'm making a fighter using an oversized greatsword. overall, pretty run of the mill.
However, i was wondering if there were any feats a simple fighter could take to help them against mages (besides the mageslayer line). Anything that makes their life harder, if not actually harming them.
Items and such are also welcome. Unfortunately, its core rulebooks, complete (minus psionics), miniatures, and unearthed arcana. Somewhat limited.
>>50719218
>Mageslayer feats
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
>>50719239
To be fair, we're starting at level 2, so mages don't hit their stride for a long time.
>>50719302
The feats are still a joke. Besides, you don't even qualify for them at second level.
Best anti-casters are casters bud.
Is he a Paladin or a Figher?
Does he heal?
>>50719070
Paladin.
he traded in "lay on hands" for "force barrier" and a sword for his hammer.
but he's still a paladin
>>50719070
Stat-wise? Fighter obviously because Overwatch doesn't have magic (outside of Sombra's "hacking")
He's a paladin at heart though
Schrödinger's Sisters of Battle are thing thanks to GW incompetence.
Shall we make the Order of Uncertainty?
I'm guessing they mostly operate in Segmentum Obscurus
>>50707892
Order of the sameface?
>>50707892
I don't know, should we?
Giant robots and gaming. A match made in heaven. Be it Mekton, Battletech, Heavy Gear, or WH40K, giant robots rule!
To kick things off, a list of every English-language mecha game I know of can be found at tinyurl dot com slash allmecha (4chan thinks the link is spam).
Mekton: is it as utterly retardedly fun/crunchy as it seems? I have a fear that it's Shadowrun 4e-esque "It has rules for EVERYTHING! ...oh shit it has RULES for everything" style constantly looking up whatever situational rule applies.
>>50700704
Mekton Zeta, especially with Mekton Zeta Plus, is an awesome game.
It's more a toolbox than a self-contained game (you'll have to create all the mechs of your game, and it's quite long the first time), but it's worth it.
>>50700704
Mekton Z basically lets you do any kind of mecha game that you can think of, but the descriptions for things and the lifepath system tend to be geared toward 'anime style' games.
I've found that it's handy to take a more objective look at the skills section, because there's a lot of things that aren't there that really should be.
>you will never be a glorious Custodes, cherished by the Emperor as a living masterpiece

>>50735969
I am human, cherished by the Emperor for all my flaws and strengths.
>>50735969
Yeah sure mate. Thats why he let most of you die to try and save his pet project. It makes sense through because he'd already put a lot of effort into the entrance way so why no throw away all your lives.
Stat him /tg/
