Discuss them.
I'm working on a fantasy race, big bovine people somewhere between (male) Draphs (pic related) and minotaurs in physiology. Their origin was as an engineered labor race by an extremely ancient and magically advanced civilization that has long since collapsed and the memory of which is all but lost (along with several other beast races such as centaurs, yuan-ti, and lion!orcs) and their stats are basically Muls, with slight flavor tweaking. Current name candidates are "hulder" and "burden" (from an old /tg/ post about yak people)
What's a culture of huge, tireless, mostly herbivorous simpletons like? Are hooved feet/bovine legs ridiculous on bipeds? What might their relationship to more vicious, animalistic minotaurs be (lycanthropes?) Post art if you've got it, too.
I honestly think the Tauren are a great race and interesting concept, as well as their cousins on the Northern continent

Be prepared for the discussion to devolve into lactating bovine females
>whelp, too late
I'll add that my own race of bovine; The Aurus, a sort of bipedal mix of traditional spanish bulls and water buffalo live in large fortresses cared into mountains and dominate the surrounding areas with a highly organized caste system with a smaller more gazelle like Auruan sub race being the more populous commoner and merchant classes.
If this man had stats, what would they be?
I dunno but it's safe to say that your AUT is 20 at least

Is Breya really as oppressive of a commander as people complain she is? I haven't seen anyone running her, I'm curious.

maybe, doesnt happen at my play spot.

Looks useless to me. What can she do, tickle 3 damage until each opponent is dead?

Only when the objective of the deck is to get one of the many infinite combos together.
I did not see one so I made a thread edition.

What is your favorite color combo and why?
Mono black because it can do pretty much anything the other 4 colors could do with the help of artifacts and I never have to worry about having the right colored lands in play
>>53070001
I'm about to experience mono black for the first time. I just ordered a Horobi deck to fuck with my friends. What mono black deck(s) do you have?
>>53069874
B/W favorite color combo because Daxos is the best and I love grindy games and having the best removal
Let's talk about why you're a good dm/gm anon.
List the things you NEVER do, because it's a sign of a shit DM/gm.
I'll start it off.
>I've NEVER gotten mad at my players for ignoring hooks, or going off course
>I've NEVER tried to intentionally kill a PC, because I was in a bad mood, or irked at the player
>I've NEVER told players "You can't attempt that".
>I've NEVER told players "you wake up to find your gear/money/anything is stolen by an invisible thief that you had no chance of seeing"
>I've NEVER had a DMPC super hero that surpassed the PC's
>I've NEVER told my players "You can't go there, because I've got nothing ready for that"
>>53069393
I've never had my NPC's be rude, mean or hostile towards the PC's for no reason.
>>53069393
I got 1/6
>>53069419
damn dude.......
Our DM is running 5E Tomb of Horrors for us in a few weeks, and wants us to make characters for it. All unearthed arcana allowed. Any advice on the kind of character I should make?
An expendable one.
>>53068959
To clarify a little, we're level 15, and we get 3 magic items of our choice(up to rare). We apparently get a prize if we finish using the character we started with but I don't know what.
>>53069082
Well, that makes it more interesting.
I don't know 5e, so I can't really help you too much on a build.
You suspect you'll need detection and divination to give you proper warning of dangers.
Something that gives you canon fodder would be good.
There may be a magical item that aids in that, but summoning might work too and would save you an item slot.
Is there an approved source of magic items to choose from?
I have ideas but no familiarity with the system.
/tg/ is the right place to ask, if we're feeling helpful.
If any anons do want to help, don't spoil any surpises for OP.
How do you do a dream setting?
>>53068824
What, like a setting that takes place in dreams?
Make it weird bruh.
Draw from Lovecraft.
Play some Bloodborne.
Hey
Hey guys
Guess what
It's a bee-holder
>>53068702
How? Bees are going to die off the planet

/thread
Bad DM/Bad Player thread.
A thread dedicated to those shitty DMs, annoying players, and everything else that makes a fa/tg/uy froth in rage.
>a bunch of coworkers have a D&D group going
>Never really cared to play despite them asking me several times
>Their DM comes to me and says he has a plan.
>Wants me to start playing as a cleric but secretly be a spy for the villain
>Has two character sheets worked out. One fake which the players see and one real one
>Says I'm not supposed to actively try and kill them but to just make things difficult for them.
>Decide it could be fun so I agree
>Go to their next game
>start playing
>One of the other players, one of my coworkers, apparently heard the DM and myself plotting during work and told everyone
>mfw
I'm not really into RPing but this seems like it's frowned upon.
>>53064948
OP here, metagaming is frowned upon in tabletop games.
>>53064983
That's what I thought.
See the guy on the left? In this scenario, that is you.
What're you thinking right now?
>>53064395
>What're you thinking right now?
"Okay, fine, this is a situation where open carry laws would be alright."
>>53064395
"Huh, so THAT'S apparently a thing. Fuck, guess I owe /x/ an apology."
>>53064395
" Is that supossed to be a mouse? A face? Why would that thing have its eyes and teeth next to each other like that? Wouldn't it stab its eyes everytine it eats something?

Is that part of your winnings?
Is it an evil act to attack an evil race, conquer and enslave it to ensure they won't attack other races anymore?
>>53063435
The West generally considers the Crusades one of the Great Mistakes committed by their ancestors, so yes.
>>53063435
What game is this?
>>53063497
Age of Wonders 3, but I used it because I didn't have a better image. I would use Age 1 or 2.
In Age of Wonders 1 and 2 you could hold an evil race city and it would pay you tribute as long as you keep soldiers to prevent revolts.
It's usually better migrating in game for a friendly race, but in my OP scenario you literally occupied all the evil race territory so there is nowhere to migrate them to.
Assuming a Warboss manages to unite almost all orks in a giant WAAAGH. Would it be the strongest fraction in 40k?
>>53063068
Yes. This has been outright stated many times.
>>53063086
More than tyranids?
>>53063095
Well, originally tyranids were an unknown factor since the implication is most of them aren't in the galaxy yet and nobody knows how many there are.
But then again they're an NPC faction who live to job nowadays,
