>I have decided to make an idea. What if you could play along in a movie like an RPG then ruin it for the fun of it or maybe if you could send a character or anything else to another movie and crash it in here. Sounds fun, yes? It's like Film Reroll, but with an extra spice in it.

You are Ralph, the main antagonist of the game Fix-It Felix, who recently had turned 30 this year.

You are in a villain meeting in the Pac-Man game; from there, the bad guys are having fun chatting and introducing themselves to each other.

But for you, you have an announcement to say after your introduction.

What would say? "I'm no longer going to be the bad guy anymore." just like the film or something else?

The villians then clapped and cheer over your motional speech. "Well done, Ralph!" Eggman said, "Your speech is so beautiful, it made me tear up a bit." Eggman sniffs a bit and then he sobs like a big crybaby and then he blows his nose on Bison's Cape.

Good ol' fashioned MS Paint Civ time!

Dubs decides what happens.

Three tribes are found in a small group of three islands. The Western Island is the largest of the three and hosts the red tribe. It is just east of an oil deposit.

The Eastern Island is smaller, though both the pink and blue have settled there. For now, Blue and Pink are allies. The Eastern Island also has a source of freshwater.

The Southern island is smaller than OP's dick, though it is the most valuble of the three. It's the only island with a natural source of gold.

You are Al-shu. Thirty-third born of the godking, En-kra. You are the 4th of your brothers to pass the trials of godhood up until the final stage, a feat only one other has passed so far.
You must guide a group of lesser race beings from ragged nomads into a world spanning civilization. If you succeed then you may sit at your father's side.

You are sent to the planet's surface in a breath of light from your father. You find your body has become ethereal, able to possess the form of any of the lesser races. You will jump from leader to leader as the ages pass, leading your people to ascendance as an hidden immortal king.

I wanna have a fun, brutal low-fantasy adventure. Don't expect much, 'cos I'm still inexperienced, but I'll try to make it fun.

By low fantasy, I mean that other humanoid fantasy races are okay, along with some magic, but no off-the-wall "I'm a fucking WIZARD!" bullshit, and no dragons or other crazy creatures. Roll 2d20 for every action besides looking around, and choices are made by a majority vote (or a roll of 39/40) if there's a lot of responces.

No need for names, let's start by picking our height, age and gender.

You are Prince Meirion auk Gwyrren, the only sane man in a royal family with dubious concepts of strategy, justice, taxation, and governance in general. You have made it your goal in life to keep your family on the throne and your head firmly attached to your body.

===============

"So…"

You sip your tea and calmly stare Myrddin in the eyes while remaining as stone-faced as possible. You can't show weakness; that's when they pounce.

"So…"

Your only answer is an overtly-audible slurp. No weakness.

"You highness, we can't pretend you didn't choose one more consort than we'd agreed upon." Myrddin pushes his glasses up his nose. It's like the damn things suck all the light and cover his face in darkness. "This kind of debauchery… what will people say?"

"Yes, yes, you've had your fun." You set your cup aside and clear your throat. "Let's get on with it, shall we? I still haven't formally congratulated my brother for his wedding night."

"I assuming you enjoyed it more than he did," Myrddin says. "Still, there shouldn't be a conflict between Esyllt, Eleri and Delyth, and Prince Aled is still reeling from the loss of his people; he won't be able to interfere until you choose a principality and get there, so we should move quickly."

It's a good thing you've done so much to cripple your uncle's connections. Although you're more than capable of protecting a retinue, accidents do happen and you'd rather not take any chances.

"One more consort to choose, then we can settle on a principality," you say. "I'd like to get it done as quickly as possible."

"I can send invitations out in time for dinner, if you'd like one last conversation," Myrddin says. "Or if you'd prefer to make a decision now, I can make preparations for that as well."

>"Yes, send all the invitations out. I'd like one more meeting."

PUELLA MAGI WIKI

PROLOGUE

More than six millennia ago, a great civilization existed on Planet Earth. Its centre stretching from Finland to Korea, it was the representation of humanity at its peak. Poverty, disease, hunger and illiteracy existed only in the form of case studies in history textbooks; they had been conquered ages earlier. Erudite, strong and proud, it was the closest humanity had ever approached the asymptote that was and is utopia. However, its glory was not only limited to Earth.
Straddling one of the Orion Arms busiest galactic trade routes, the Finno-Korean civilization was blessed with immense wealth. Medical technologies mingled with military ones from all stretches of the galaxy, only further enriching the already wealthy Altaic ecumenopolis. Growing ever stronger, ever smarter, ever brighter, it stretched its planetbound arms to the heavens, with entire strings of Lagrangian point space colonies being built from Mercury to the furthest reaches of the Oort Cloud, far past Jupiter.
However, despite all of this, it was cursed by one limitation. It was merely an interplanetary civilization, not an interstellar one. It subsisted on trade that did not belong to it alone. It had no colonies beyond Sol’s reaches. Like Samarkand on the Silk Road, its fate was inevitably tied with whatever happened on the ends of the route.

When the rest of the galactic nations that had relied on the smooth and safe Solar Hyperroad had declined, whether due to war or some other less grandiose tragedy, Earth’s decline became inevitable too. Splendorous shipments of galactic consumer goods dried up. Without these goods, the utopia that had been bought with galactic tariffs started to slowly crumble apart. Of course, its decline was not instant. Like the hitherto-hypothetical prepper who enjoyed his heartiest goods first, the decline was masked by what exuberance could be drained from the last galactic shipments left. The proud people of Earth, in denial of the unsustainability of a lifestyle bought on credit that was no longer infinite, continued on with their false dream of utopia, despite in their hearts knowing very well that it would crash and burn in tragedy. Their own experts and engineers told them that they should’ve scaled down their consumption of energy, to survive for long enough for them to develop interstellar travel, to revive that great Hyperroad. Due to corrupt politics and apathetic citizens, the cries of these scientists went through deaf ears.

And so of course, the destruction and collapse of the Great Altaic Civilization was now set in stone. Humanity could not defy its destiny.

Scientific progress and intellectual growth slammed to a stop. Hostility to new ideas became the norm. As the stockpiles ran out, the human creatures, less than ants, for ants knew how to prepare, began to squeal and shriek like rats on a sinking ship. With valuable hyperfuel gone, travel between the Inner and Outer planets screeched to a silent halt. No longer could the colonies supply the Altaic metropolis. A terrible recession fell down like a sword on the heads of the foolish Finno-Koreans.

The rich, no longer prospering, began to turn their gazes from what was outside the System back to [what was on Earth to the expense of the working and middle classes, the robot operators. Creating meaningless financial ventures and likewise meaningless stock markets, it seemed like they were eating their own money in vain. Of course, this lead to terrible inequality, that only further worsened the divide and panic. A new serfdom developed and the formerly vibrant upper class, who were very much benign in the earlier period of intergalactic trade began to turn their laviscious, hungry gazes upon the less fortunate. Such old and barbarous as the “droit du seigneur” were revived as the bored “Nobles” sought to entertain their loins with the thighs of innocent citizens, male and female, newborn and geriatric alike.

And so, under the long chain of noble abuses, the Altaic civilization exploded, killing all of the ruling class, ravishing their daughters and son in a retributive orgy of carnage and carnal violence alike.

2/?
>>
And so, with two distinct polities, rather than the one that had earlier defined human history, conflict was inevitable. The laws of history demanded it. No matter how meaningless, no matter how painful, this was the inevitable result of the decline of a formerly united civilization.

Accounts about how it started vary and whoever was the initial aggressor remains contested to this day in secret historiography, but the most common account was that a minor border incident after decades of tension in modern-day Uzbekistan flared into total war.

For millennia, the Finnish Holy Roman Khaganate and the Great Hwan Empire clashed. Entire ethnicities were destroyed. To this day, very few knew about what ideologies they fought for. What is known is that the ground that was contested contained the very last stockpiles of intergalactic trade. The purpose of power was itself, ultimately. Whatever great high-minded principles either sides chanted were practically forgotten as geostrategic realities took over.

The war continued and continued, the strongest weapons wearing out first, first exhausting the galactic-trade bought plasma and laser weapons, then the railguns, then even the solid lead machine guns and even musketry. Centuries of meaningless and exhaustive warfare brought humanity back to the era of spears and clubs.

But then, interlopers arrived. Calling themselves Messengers of Magic, they gifted, or cursed humanity with arcane skills in exchange for their souls. The two warring polities, debased and degraded by millennia of utter hatred, sought a swift conclusion to the war through decisive victory over each other.

The Hwan Empire pushed had pushed as far as Estonia, but the Finnish managed to survive this onslaught, turning the war around slowly but surely, leading to the gates of Pyongyang itself. The Finnish Khaganate activated its weaponized Pyramid Array and the Hwan Empire unleashed a new and terrible weapon, “autism”.

And indeed, they were delivered from this eternal war, as through these vicious means mutually destroyed each other, leaving behind politically and socially impaired post-apocalyptic hunter gatherer remnants. Some say the Khaganate won, others say the Hwan won. What this one humble historian here can comment on is that victory is meaningless if there is no peace to enjoy, an empty and meaningless bragging right. For example, far later, the devastation wrought by the Roman-Sassannid Wars, even as both sides claimed the sweet drug of victory, made both empires susceptible to the newly united Arab hordes, who followed a new religion connected with the Messenger of Magic, but that is for a later discussion.

3/?
>>
Yet still one thing lingers from that ancient-beyond-ancient forgotten age, those who were against the Messenger of Magic from the very start, those who were aware of the tragedy that could be caused, those who were enlightened to the potential despair that could be brought onto humanity, those who even before that, had tried in vain to persuade humanity to downscale their energy demands, so that humanity could live to thrive another day.

And just as the Great Altaic Empire was a verse of a song and those little polities calling themselves empires, from Rome to the Ottomans, were other verses of that same song, today, those that remembered the Finno-Korean Hyperwar would sing their chorus once again.

Would they fail as they had so many times before or would they be successful in reuniting humanity under one banner again, to seize what was rightfully theirs?

PREVIOUSLY: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Starship+Idols

The maglev train ride to Camp Sugar Watkins is rather uneventful. After waking up with quite possibly the worst hangover of your life and having to do your own uniform checks and your own grooming, you had to catch a flight out of Aberdeen to the former South American territories to the Atacama Desert. The Atacama was selected as a training ground for several reasons. One, it’s drier than a nun’s panties over there. Two, it’s surrounded by either the coast or the Mountains so deserters don’t have much chance anyway of leaving. And three, the rough terrain makes it good ground to get ones legs used to moving in a suit.

Though, you didn’t train at Watkins, you hear it’s quite the experience. Certainly different from Arthur Currie if you hear the rumors correctly. And if Dune is training there, then you might as well just slit your wrists and be done with it.

Still, you lay back in your train seat, watching the news, making the time go by. Your own little booth in the car was empty save for you. Cyrano was back at home being taken care of by the cleaning robot (those robots are smarter than people give them credit for) and while you would’ve liked to take him with you, he wasn’t exactly K-9 Corps material.

Still, on the news today was the Prime Minister’s address to the Federation regarding last week’s disaster at Hesperus. “My fellow Citizens and Civilians. It is no secret that last week, the Citizens’ Systems Federation suffered a defeat at the hands of the Pseudo-Arachnids at the planet of Hesperus. Over three-thousand MI personnel were killed, and seven Fleet ships were lost, including the command ship of Admiral Dain Welker who is currently still missing at this time. The Federation Forces have retreated from Hesperus and are now regrouping at Fleet Battlestation Ticonderoga.

“I must remind you all that we are in the midst of a war. We are bound to suffer defeat every once in a while. We cannot live our lives knowing the Federation is invincible. And you must understand that if we are to win this war, then you must take the personal responsibility for those lives that were lost. For if you sit there and think that you need not take the Federal Service just because others do it for you, then perhaps you should reconsider your place in this Federation. We are at war. And the only way we will win this war is together, if we all know our place. So take heart, where there is defeat I am certain we can make victory. We are stronger together, my fellow humans. Stand together, God bless the Federation.”

And yet despite that speech, recruitment figures barely creeped up 1%, and that’s in the Home systems. The Outer Colonies barely do anything except complain and complain about how they aren’t being properly represented. Maybe they’d be properly represented if any of them actually enlisted.

But alas, it’s still a bit of time before you reach Sugar Watkins. Maybe a nap is-

You blink, looking over at the booth next to you. Sitting there is a prospective Sergeant, smiling at you. His hair has been buzzed short, and his face doesn’t have a single scar. Must be new. “You’re that Lieutenant aren’t you?” he says. He points to the Terran Cross hanging around your neck. You did decide to put on your dress greens but…

Howdy. Lets start since it looks like our other regular said he would be traveling today.

Also, I got a new account in pokemon go, but im back to level 1.

Well, as anyone who has ever played a game without a system of savegames knows, i fucked up on several points on my first playthrough anyway, so I was thinking about restarting, to be honest. I guess im just uselessly pissed about them banning my old account before i could abandon it, or something useless like that.

If you guys are playing, I hope you will trade me something good when trade becomes possible.

*cough*

Aaaanyway, I was reading "Long Live Summons" and I liked the pet system on it. I realized the way plant monsters on it are nature's defense against invading demons may be good for us and the [ERROR]s, so do you want to have plant monsters turn into something of an alternative to dungeons? i was thinking in reforming the existence that dungeons are, once the incasion is dealt with.

The king has perished after long months of sickness, his heir is still too young to rule, so the Counsil is taking over the control of the Kingdom.

You are all members of the recently formed Council, a selected group of loyal people chosen by the king himself when he was still alive. Your objective is to rule the Kingdom of Utland as a regency government until the young king is old enough to take his own decisions.

Utland is a small coastal Kingdom, it's population it's mostly conformed by Humans, with a few minorities of elves and dwarves.

>The treasury is almost empty, but it's slowly growing.
>There's a medium port in the capital, it produces a small ammount of gold coins through commerce with other kingdoms (Currently not working, repairs needed).
>There are farmlands to the west, producing just enough food for the kingdom.
>The bridge at the west has collapsed a few years ago.
>There are three mayor guilds in the kingdom, the Wizard's Guild, the Merchant's guild and the Warrior's guild, all of them have been requesting for a long time to have their own academies in the capital (Not enough money to fund them right now).
>The king is almost four years old.

Defensive Allies:
>Echian Kingdom

Friendly:
>Tendalle Republic (Elves, fighting a defensive war against Drendald Kingdom (Elves)

Neutral:
>Drendald Kingdom (Elves)
>Guk'Daral Kingdom (Dwarves)
>Rhayd Empire (Mixture, mostly Humans)

What will your first order be? (You have 1.5 action points to spend)

>A) Build more farms (1 action point).
>B) Send and emissary to a nearby kingdom (which?). (0.5 Action points).
>C) Send a scout to explore new lands (North, South, West or East) (0.5 Action points).
>D) Repair the Port and commerce ships. (1 Action Point)
>E) Repair the west bridge (1 Action point).
>C) Write-in (1 Action Point).

-Each turn is a Month in game
-Each Turn an Edict and an Education Policy is passed through vote.
-The Counsel Edict are Law in the Kingdom, and are Absolute, it will affect the Well-Being and Survability of the Kingdom.
-The Education Policy are what the young King will study during the next Month and will determine at the End if the King is Useful and Competent at all in anything.
-No Turn pass until an agreament is reached by the Consel member, they'll have time to Debate and can Change their vote on a whim.
-If Really too much time pass, and No Agreament can be reached, the Young and Inexperienced King will come and pick at Random(i.e: I'll Roll, and you'll have to deal with it.)

Well, let's see if I can get the game started for you, OP.

My vote is re-establishing our port. As a coastal kingdom, no ships and no usable port is really hampering our ability to prosper.

That's one action point, I propose we use at least one of the ships to explore northward at the cost of .5 action point. Perhaps find some islands with safe harbors that could be settled.

Alright I'm game. Can we get a map of the area?
Our leader will be Buto Mabowa. Known for only giving guns to his real soldiers, while his child soldiers carry clubs, spears and bow.
>But the child soldiers do work in squads with real equipment, like a mortar team or machine gun nest.

can I be the esteemed N'Tutty J'njohnny?

Rolls will be taken serially, that is, your orders will go in the map based on the time stamp for each post. So, think before you roll faggots.

Use Google bro, and come up with something realistic.

Oh shit nigger it's a /qst/ civ thing.

5 tribes inhabits a nondescript generic fantasy land: the human barbarians, the orc nomads, the treehugging elves, the cave dwelling goblins and the greedy dragons.
Each tribe gets 4 players to guide them through the tribal era and hopefully not die while advancing their culture, technology n shit.

Just give yourself a name to identify which tribe you belong to. Ex: "Elf Faggot"

Each tribe gets 2 actions. The first action can be a regular action (ex: scouting), a cultural action (ex: declare pants are gay) or a tech action (ex: sharpen sticks to make spears). The second action is an extra that differs for each tribe. Humans and Orcs gets an extra regular action, Elves and Dragons gets an extra cultural one while Goblins get an extra tech.

After consulting with your team members, reply to my post with your turn.

Currently, Turn 16 has started and no recap for each tribe has been made.
