Maybe it's because she's not coiled as tightly as usual. You can actually move your legs this morning.

You move one of your legs off the bed, and discover that she's not coiled around you. Emi is just kind of piled on top of you. This means you can get out without waking her, but you should probably see how she's feeling before you go...

As you get out the gate, you see most of the boars are gone, replaced with wolves, but up ahead on top of a hill, one in particular stands out, slightly taller than the rest with pure white fur, making it stand out against the darkening sky.

Far off, nestled in an otherwise small Japanese town lies the Dark Gate Academy. An institution of tremendous size, the Academy holds a long kept secret. Before we start, something for players:

I know most aren't happy with this situation. But before anything else, I am willing to give this board a chance. I put up a poll to decide on if we should make that chance in the form of continuing my currently existing Quests, or start something original. Results were clear. We'll see how things work from this point on, and if it doesn't, well, it doesn't. I thank all of you for staying with this for over a year now, and if any new players are joining us, well, welcome aboard, and feel free to check out the archives.

Tahenohan took good care of your back, it made you feel good in more than one way and, most importantly, you are ready to participate in the joust. Something still kind of hurts, and the necromancer herself has warned you that if you get hurt again you’re going to need a priest of Jure to fix you further, or you’ll just have to deal with the pain, there’s a limit to what she can do; though she has guaranteed that if you break a bone she’ll be able to get it to fix itself in a week instead of a month, so… Hooray?

If you poke your own tail near the base it gives a semi-dull feeling of pain still, the worst part of falling hard on your butt is crushing part of your elongated spine with it, though fortunately you did not break anything, though it is a little swollen. Not too noticeable since it’s still the same colour thanks to your peculiar complexion, but noticeable enough for you. It shouldn’t be a problem considering how open-reared the PecoPeco saddles are, but you really hope you won’t fall flat on your backside again or you might not be able to sit at all for a while.

There’s way more people than you expected, even from an early hour. Dozens of soldiers and civilians both are passing right through your impromptu headquarters to fill out the hastily-built bleachers in the tournament grounds; a pair of rather colourful tents have been set up so the participants can pretend they are in a real tournament, but it’s quite obvious that this thing has been prepared in a day and will hardly last long enough to have memorable feasts, a faire, a horse market and whatever you might expect from a proper tournament with knights, jousts and everything.

Tama is frantically waving at everyone and trying to greet as many people as possible, while Bryld is already up at this hour if anything to make sure the giant spider doesn’t stray too far from her nest. You can’t help but notice she already has her tabard on.

“There you are”, oh look, it’s White Moustache and Middle-Aged Lady again, though they’re wearing plain clothes for this occasion, “Good thing you’re up already we need you to take care of some things”.

“For one thing you have to get your spider to follow us and get her dressed”, they explain as they drag your still half-asleep self away amidst the mass and towards the tournament grounds, “But before that there’s something important we have to decide”.

“Jousting order”, White Moustache explains, “Usually, the honour of being first in the joust is reserved to the local lord, or the current champion, depending on the tournament”.

“But all of the participants bar you are locals here”, Middle-Aged Lady adds, “So we were wondering if you’d like the honour of going first since the prize is your girl’s hand”.

This quest was on hiatus since January but I am returning to life now. You played as the Seeker last year in the Ravenclaw Quidditch team but you couldn't win the Quidditch cup. Your house though won the House Cup, which is not a small feat. You stopped the half vampire DADA professor at the end of the year and saved your friends lives. You are now in your second year.

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.

Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear vote winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever! This is not a video game. Weak moves tend to be quicker.

Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

You were not but a humble maid for fanciful estate in the prosperous Southern Counties, but alas you have been cast out!

Escaping a fate most horrible, you fled into the woods not so far from the estate. You are in a state most awful though, with many wounds and little remaining of your clothes, let alone any personal possessions you had. It's been so hard, that thoughts of returning and begging to be taken back in are on your mind, though you know that would only end badly. For you.
