yeah
back when I was 16
When it comes to video, is it better to purchase an aftermarket Blackmagic Pocket or a brand new Sony A6000?
When it comes to video gear questions, is it better to use the video or the gear thread?
It certainly isn't to post a new thread.
Why not get a used a6000 for cheap as chips and buy a speedbooster/lens turbo and some good lenses
So I'm considering a watermark even though I hate them. How does one avoid looking like a bored housewife on pinterest?

add a border to only one side of the image, like the bottom, put your watermark on that

Wow, I think this is the first time in years I've come to /p/ for advice, and in a quick time gotten an honest and reasonable response.
Thank you for not being an autistic shitchild.

So, what is it with WWII Axis Powers and camera making?

whilst germany and japan were busy making cameras and optics, the rest were busy making art
>>2799438
I think after WWII Germany and Japan weren't allowed to make weapons so so concentrated on making precision instruments such as cameras for export.

that should tell you where the world would be right now if they had won the war.
Im kinda addicted to this type of photos, today i was taking photos and all are like this.

I bought a phantom the other day. What do you think of my photos? They're a bit over saturated. What do you think I can do to improve my aerial photography?
>walk around with a larger than average lens
>like the 100-400
>get weird looks or wide eyes
>Have had people ask if I'm with National Geographic
>Bird people go up to me and ramble off names of birds and I nod and pretend to be intrigued and know what he's talking about
I didn't know it would be like this.. although I am in kind of a redneck area so that might just be it.
>your friend is beginning in surf leagues
>'can you take some pics of me surfing?"
>nikon D7000 + teleconverter 2x + 80-200 af-s f2.8
>people start to get around me and looking to the water searching for who I'm taking pictures
>'from which magazine / brand do you work for?'
>'who are in the water?'
feels nice

>go to uni, realize a few owls are regularly perching on a nearby tree
>interesting
>pack my camera bag, including the 400mm handcannon
>very small room left for actual lecture stuff
>get to campus, slight drizzle
>notice two owls, calculate best angle
>get inside, get the camera out, put on handcannon
>notice a bit of stirring from the corner of my eyes
>don't care, go out, take the shot
>get in, pack away my gear, hurry to lecture
>now notice everyone is staring at me wide eyed and slightly frightened
I still have no idea why a camera and a big lens is such a frightening sight.
>Go into Belfast City Centre for St. Patrick's Day
>Always a bit of unrest after the parade between Loyalists and Republicans
>Start snapping shots
>Shithead teenagers think they're going to be on the news and start acting up
>Go to Holylands area that evening where there's often rioting by drunken students
>They all want their photo taken and strike exaggerated poses
Nobody listens to me when I say I'm not Press. They just see a big lens and start to hunger for fame.
- wanna get into photography as a hobby

Use the gear thread, don't shit up the board with this if you don't mind buying used then you can get something like a 650d for that price but it depends how much you want to spend on glass

Going to dump 15 shots from this week. Im pretty happy with how they turned out, maybe some are a little soft. I had to shoot wide open (2.8) on most because the lighting was really dim. Critiques are more then welcome. Been shooting for 6 years, still trying to find my niche.

Hey /p/

How can I convert a normal photo into a graphic like these two dudes?

that and black white brush a layer mask on a copy layer.
Can also be achieved with Illustrator using "image trace" or whatever it's called
thinking about starting a studio in my home for filming livestreams. I have a vision with multiple camera angles and accompanying audio. I have no equipment yet, and I need to set up an A/V interface for what I want to do to sync all the streams.
I'm obviously new to this area and just need suggestions on what sort of video equipment I may need for my vision. basically a 3 camera set up, an over head view and 2 other cameras for closeups. the overhead will probably be a gopro. I'm thinking I'm probably going to need a channel board (again I'm new), but not sure where to even begin with that.
I know this may not be the place for this question, but google hates me.

Do you do anything worth livestreaming? Because if not, that should be your first concern before what cameras/lights/mics to get.

Anyone been to south of England to shoot? In particular Bristol, Bath, London, Exeter, Plymouth?
Any good spots?

How fucking vague can you get, of course there is nnice places

Bath is a beautiful old city, lots of architecture
Can /p/ please redpill me on instagram models?
What is the angle? Are many of these girls actually just prostitutes who use instagram to simultaneously advertise and throw off the scent of their extensive travel to family and friends, under the guise of professional modeling?
You have issues, kid.
>>2798627
Hey guys... wanna buy some Sony?
How do you recreate the colors of these photos?
>>2798476
>if you have photoshop or lightroom:
in lightroom or adobe camera raw, go to camera calibration and adjust the blue hue over to cyan, red over to orange, green over to cyan. check out what adjusting the saturation sliders do to your specific photo. perform finer adjustments from the hsl tab and tone curve. go to the main tab with the exposure and contrast sliders and lower the saturation and maybe boost the vibrancy, you'll have to see how it is for your photo.
after that you'll want to lift the blacks and lower the whites (look up how to make matte photos in lightroom or photoshop and you'll get the gist).
then it's on to split-toning, some of these add pink to highlights, some yellow, some green, and they all seem to add a cool colour to the shadows except middle-right possibly.
>alternatively:
get vsco or rni for lightroom or adobe camera raw
>if you have a smartphone and nothing else:
install vscocam
Shoot on (shitty) film.
