Para 2 for me. Both are great knives, though. I had a griptilian for a short while but I prefer the blade shape and feel of the paramilitary. Saying that I only got ny pm2 yesterday and have yet to use it so i hope it delivers haha

It simply isn't a room plant, it's better to place in a spot in the garden, or at least balcony if you have one.
In that case, freezing winter days may be a problem though because the pot might freeze through (planted out in the garden is not much of a problem because the soil only ever freezes a few cm max) but putting into the warm room then is also not ideal

I want to go bivy for my solo trips because I want to travel lite, go farther, faster, easier. Pack weight just ads up too damn fast.
Most small 1-2 person "tents" still push +3 lbs.
Bivy is about the only way to get below 2 lbs from what I've seen browsing online.

we still have snow blocking everything above 11k. Snow patches in the shade between 10.5k and 11. Some roads in that range are still blocked.

It usually ends up being shit because people think they can just come in and freeload off others, and that's not how communes work AT ALL. A lot of resentment usually sets in very quickly, followed by ground rules that start the process of it turning into something other than a commune.

How high are you gonna do the table? I think you should keep it low, like 18" or maybe a but more so you can have the low-slung patio chairs around it.

That's just what I would do. But thinking about it like that, I would prolly do the grill off to the side so people can sit in a circle. Depends if you will mainly chill there or have a fire pit nearby where you would hang out.

Sound cool though. I wish I had friends to hang out with in my beer shelter.

Mini fridge idea is tempting, but the idea of having to install 200 meters of cable to power it kills that temptation. Although a place to store the beer would be quite useful. I ain't gonna put the beer on the table - who would want to drink warm beer.

I like the idea of it being low. That way the warmth of the fire reaches people sitting around it.

I planned to have the grill in the center because we usually sit around it, enjoying the fire when grilling.

Yeah fridges pull some electricity too so you kinda want to do it right if you run electrical out there at all. If you can get a good deal on one of those big aluminum flip-top coolers, that could be semi-permanent there and look nice. It's no kegerator but will keep the beers cold.

The low seating is key though. Get an outdoor couch and a couple of those wide, low chairs. Sometimes they are wicker and have those cushions you can take inside when not in use.

Where do you live, OP? If you are in the tropics, it might be something like Camillea leprieurii, which is a type of fungus found on rainforest trees. Maybe something similar? Otherwise maybe aerial roots as other anons have said. But I'm no expert.
