Actually if I get a 1990 or earlier model I'd only have to pay €25 a year in tax, insurance would be half price as well.
I'm more concerned about the size as it's the same length as a Range Rover with a huge bonnet, and just the general reliability situation in all weathers.

For the first year or so of my relationship with my current partner, she drove me around everywhere partly because I didn't have a full driver licence yet. But she gave me driving lessons, helped me overcome my nerves and encouraged me to go for the driving test (after I had failed several times before and gotten disheartened).
Where my father's teaching methods had failed, hers succeeded. I passed the test almost perfectly.
Nowadays, she's about as good of a driver as I am. Still better at handling corners than me, but on the other hand, I'm better at reversing maneuvers. So when we go out on a date, there's no strong pressure for either one of us to be -the- driver. We're both comfortable with one-another's driving skills (the fact that she drives a 6-speed manual certainly helps).
We also roughly alternate picking up the bill when going out to dinner or lunch, because we both think the idea of the man having to pay on a date all the time is bullshit, and she has a decent-paying job so she has no issue with paying for stuff some of the time.

Motogp: 1000cc 4 cylinder, prototype engines, high state of tune. Highest weight.
Moto2: 600cc 4 cylinder, control engines made by honda, medium/average state of tune. Similar weight to motoGP.
Moto3: 250cc 1 cylinder, prototype engines, high state of tune, ridiculously light weight, tiny tyres.

Have 40k budgeted for a car.
I have a daily, a manual 2013 focus.
I'm looking at either getting a solid v8, maybe a tune, exhaust, etc. It'd stay mostly stock. Perhaps a new 2016 camaro ss, or a Boss 302.
My other option, and the one I'm liking more and more, is to get something like a mustang ecoboost as a project car. Do a turbo swap, suspension upgrade, and add a pfi rail to deal with the DI carbon buildup. They're showing they can handle 430 whp without any issues, with quite a few kits out there with a lot of mileage in them.
The project turbo 4 would be more of "my car", and it would be something to work on. Im looking for over 400 whp and under 500whp, as it would be mainly a track/street car. Not a strip car, so much more power than that would be difficult to control. The ecoboost would fit that perfectly. I've owned 4 straight v8s, so I'm feeling more of a "been there, done that" attitude towards the v8 option.
What would o do? No i dont want a c6 z06, or a c5 z06. The c6 has shit valvetrain and the c5 is fucking awful inside.

You aren't getting a 2012-2013 boss 302 for under 55k unless its been crashed or abused all to hell. I would suggest you drive all 3 american muscle cars an then decide. You could always buy a terminator cobra for around 23k. For that you will get one with pretty low miles and maybe a few mods. You can then sink about 3-4k in mods into it and get around 470whp without a ported blower or 500whp-530whp with a stage 5-6 ported blower. Then save the rest of the money in case you wanted to have more power later its 5k for a twin screw kit and you can make 600whp easy.

ITT: insurance fails.
Crashed my car before I left for basic training. Crashed head on into a pole and was sure it was gonna be totaled out, agent was being stubborn and said the car was worth too much to total it out, and insurance ended up paying 16k to fix car was 24k when I bought it brand new. Left it at body shop and was told it would be done a week after I left so left my dad to take care of my car before I left. Found out after basic that the car still wasn't done but I wasn't worried about it since I wouldn't be driving it anytime soon since I'm going to Korea. A week before I graduated ait body shop tells my dad car was done. Vehicle felt like the front axle was about to fall off, brakes weren't working, and tons of warning lights on dash were on. Pops takes car back and body shop has to call insurance back up then told they have to take it back to the dealer. So now they're gonna have to get a new assessor to see how much they're gonna have to pay to fix AGAIN. and the fucking agent still doesn't want to admit the car needs to be totaled out even though the other agents keep telling her otherwise.
