How does this make you guys feel?
>>13827707
Like you're autistic.
"Real muscle car"
"People drool"
"Big dollar port job"
>implying
otherwise I agree
feel like i went back in time 12 years
no one cares about a 4th gen camero anymore
I started working at a Toyota dealership last month. I really like the 4Runner, but something startled me when I first got in it and took it for a test drive. I don't fit in it. I'm 6'3" and my head bangs into the side of the moonroof mounting. The only way I can fit is to recline the seat back to a ridiculous and uncomfortable extent. On the non-moonroof models, my head has like an inch of clearance, but my visibility is still shit because my eyes are in the roof line (the roof has a raised pocket to fit your head in a non-moonroof truck). I don't get it. Why would Toyota manufacture a vehicle like this? I fit into all other vehicles (except Tacoma, which is the same), fine, including the freaking Yaris, but the roof pitch on this is so incredibly low. Is there anything that can be done to fit in it?
>>13827505
Lower the seat?
>>13827505
Because you're tall and that inch didn't matter to the headroom of most of the people on the planet.

SUVs are for women. women are small.

Sure, go on.
>>13827447
I need to hear how this ends
>do the "look at gear stick and mind will it to go into reverse this time"
What the fuck?
What is more important?
Amount of displacement?
or
Number of cylinders?
Cylinders but V6 is sucky in general
Come at me senpai
Within the bounds of reason, number of cylinders. Outside the bounds of reason, displacement.
>>13827395
nice wishy washy answer faggot.
Does /o/ every do detailing threads ?
Saw none the catalogue and I've never bothered to come here before.
I'll dump some shots from a couple weeks ago but I'd like to see your shineys.
ITT: Things only you think you do while driving
I never put my turning signals if there's no one around me
I wait until the gas light comes on before I head to the gas station.
Sometimes when I'm out driving and I don't see any cars on the road I'm worried I missed a memo about some no driving hour/day. It's never been a thing but I'm always s tiny bit relieved to see another car.
When I am slowing down to a yellow light (instead of running it), I worry that the yellow light will stay yellow for an abnormal amount of time. And I will just be sitting at that yellow light like an ass.
Got a 2006 Mazda RX8. Took car to a shop to get rotors resurfaced and they fucked up my front left one. I am going to have another company do it again but they already looked and suggested I get new rotors.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with 2-piece rotors from Racing Brake? Did you have any issues with the install? Do they fit the stock calipers?
I see they don't work well with Carbotech brake pads so I was considering going 1-piece up front with the 2-piece in the rear and use different pads front and back.
As for the front rotors, I'd like to go with StopTech Centric High Carbon 125.
I'd also like to get the Racing Beat 4-piston calipers. Save a little weight and they seem a bit more durable.
Lastly, I'm planning on getting CE28N's 17x8.5 with a +30 offset. Will I have problems here?
Aside from the general m/o/nkey disliking rotaries, is this a realistic build? Will I have any issues anywhere here?
Yous reap what yous sows.
At first I thought you were resurfacing the rotors in your engine, and I was going to call you a doublenigger.
>+30 offset
Do you want a car that looks like ass, you doubenigger?
swap SR20
RWD > AWD > FWD.
>tfw RWD, V8, 2-door, dual exhaust master race
Still dont care
Then why is the new type R faster than some high end rwd and awd cars?
I'm sure the difference would be minimal, but does suspension affect performance?

yes
>>13826976
maybe
I drove a convertible once and I liked it! I really did. It was something totally different. I never imagined it would feel so free on the road. I loved it.
Let's celebrate convertibles and post the best looking ones for us to enjoy.
I think almost any convertible is cool even if they're shit cars.
Pic is related I drive a 66 mustang vert. Love the fact the top doesn't go up so its always top down weather.

Delta 88.
>>13826982
how does it feel knowing you've driven the most secretarial of secretary's cars?
I'm finally a hascars again. Got this bad boy for 500 shmeckles. To celebrate, let's have some before and afters!
If you haven't modded your car yet, let's hear what your plans are.
If you only have an after, list what you've done to it so far and what's next.
>>13826963
Why does it look like a tiny bronco?
Like someone made a stubby ranger with a shell
>>13826988
Because it's a Bronco II and that's exactly what it is.
>instagram sized
Can fwd drive cars be any fun at all?
>>13826939
Obviously
>>13826939
Yes
honestly, what the fuck is the appeal?
>>13826812
victim complex hugbox where you modify your car and niggers kiss your ass for it.
>>13826812
There is no logical reason for it, nor does it look good.
It's for annoying bros who don't care about anything beyond looking cool

Thinking of getting a 88-89 trans am as a project to tinker with. Opinions?
>>13826790
Love the way they look. Best looking Turd Gen IMO.
What's your budget? You could shoot for an 89 TTA
>>13826790
Horribly gutless, underpowered vehicles.
Unless you're swapping the engine, it's a huge waste of money.
4 grand tops. I'm going to school to be a technician so a project doesn't bother me. I fully restored a 66 mustang before but had to sell because that thing was an insane money pit.
Let's talk about 60's-70's GT's to sports cars. What's your favourite? I've fallen in love with the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Why don't they make more cars that look like it?
My favorite is definitely the 64 Ford Falcon, fastest rally car in the world at the time, held a stage record at Monte Carlo that wasn't broken until 1983.
>>13826816
> fastest rally car in the world at the time
Proof of this or are you just going to cling to an unfinished monte carlo?
Another awesome and similarly dominant Ford, this time in road racing, the Galaxie. Despite it's size it was 5 seconds/lap faster than the Jaguars and 10 seconds/lap faster than the Minis even on the tight UK tracks.
