Roll cages are to boyracers what AWD is to soccer moms. They make you too confident on public roads. The only thing that's justifyable are roll bars on convertibles because those really do kill you as soon as they roll.

I know it's not the fastest thing out there, but it looks absolutely phenomenal and is not lacking in performance.

Your regular user is never going to even get close to using 100% of it's power and that's where it shines. For the streets, lambos just shit all over ferrari in terms of looks.

They're best for around town, on the deer lease cars unless you plan on dropping in a larger motor.

They ride like shit, slow, very small, but god damn are they fun and i love them.

Only thing that jeep guys will admit to being better than a jeep in some aspects (and being much more reliable). Ive seen plenty of videos where a stock sammy can out dd the jeep in most cases just because how light they are. Put some aggressive tires, maybe a small lift, and they're essentially ATVs that will go anywhere.

My grandfather had one, and i rolled it (went up way to steep of a hill) front over back twice and it landed standing up on the rear. Had to replace a tail light because it was the only thing that broke.

I have seen a few done right and they were badass. If you have the know-how it's a great starting point. You need to be aware that 1. They have rust issues. 2. They have a sufficient, but overall weak stock suspension. 3. The stock motor made less than 100hp when it was new, 25 years ago.

6sp is nice, just have to feed it expensieve ford transmission fluid. NC1s like to turn 4k at 80mph on the highway. So on longer trips mileage isn't great in a 4 cylinder. NC2+ 6sp fixed that by adding a taller 6th gear.

As far as conefagging goes, the ratios on the 5sp are a bit better for that.

Not sure what your main use of the car will be, but as a DD for me, the 6sp is plenty fun. I especially don't regret it since having a 6sp also means you get the bilsteins + LSD, which isn't available on the 5spd.

I live in the mountains so there's touges for days up here. I am going to DD a little, but honestly I want the one that will perform the best on tight numerous turns. Not sure if conefagging is comparable.

Have a friend who goes there and from the little I've heard there isn't much to prepare for behorehand (although if you're not from Ohio you need to prepare your car for Ohio winters lol)
