> One of the biggest issues faced by the motorcycle industry is the difficulty of capturing new riders in new segments. Adding more new 50-year-old dudes on Harleys is great and all, but the industry won’t grow if it doesn’t figure out how to sell bikes to women and young people. It must be doing something right, though: while still not a huge number, female motorcycle ownership is higher than it’s ever been.
>The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) data shows that women make up 14 percent of the total motorcycle ownership, a number that’s been steadily on the incline since it was a meager 8 percent in 1998.
>What’s even better news, although unsurprising, is that the numbers skew to the younger generation. When broken down by age, women make up 17.6 percent of motorcycle owners 18-35, 17 percent of owners 36-50, and only 9 percent of owners 51-69.
> Cruisers made up 34 percent of the women riders, while 33 percent of them opted for scooters. Only 10 percent owned sportbikes. The last 20 percent or so was a mix of standard, adventure, and off-road motorcycles.
>For those of you who are dealers out there, it’s interesting to note that women listed “fun and recreation,” “sense of freedom,” and “enjoy outdoors/nature,” as reasons for riding, and cited test rides and fuel economy as two of the biggest factors when buying a bike. Oh, and 57 percent of women riders prefer new motorcycles over used ones.

Thoughts on this, lads?

hey /o/

I bought these replacement remotes
>http://www.ebay.com/itm/351290528175?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
and I am trying to pair them to my CR-V EX but I am failing...

I follow those instructions
>http://www.ehow.com/how_7238959_program-entry-1999-honda-crv.html
but nothing happens when I press the lock button.

Is there something I overlooked? Aren't all models equipped to work with a keyless entry remote?

I wanted to give them as a gift to my gf because she always complains that she doesn't have keyless entry for her car so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

In 40 years will modern muscle cars have the same cool factor that classic muscle cars have today?
22 posts and 8 images submitted.
>>
what are modern muscle cars?
>>
Most likely.

Cars 15-20 years from now will probably be less focused on sportiness and more on practicality, as the role of the driver will be automated and cars effectively become people movers. Alongside your botique manufacturers that will inevitably spring up to sell people "real drivers' cars", people will be clamoring for cars from the past, specifically the 'golden days before the driverless age'.

The muscle cars of today will be highly revered years from now. Hell, it might only be a few years when high school kids begin picking these up off the used market and driving them around just like kids in the 70s.

Bought many Hondas after that (1990 CRX, 1999 Civic Hatchback, 2008 Accord Coupe Ex-L) and bought a 2004 RSX last week. I've had a 240sx, gc8, lancer, several trucks but I always end up going back to Hondur and I think I always will.

A little high for my area imo but if its rust free in a salt state thats what I would expect to pay. How many miles, its clean.

I'm planning to buy a 07-09 W221 S-Class. What am I in for reliability-wise?

When it gets old and things start breaking, you'll regret it if you can't afford to fix things
Have fun when the air suspension goes out

If you can afford to fix things, they're fantastic cars
>>
>>14098088
I don't mind paying for expensive parts and maintenance, as long as stuff doesn't break too often.

I heard the 4matics are more reliable because they have a different suspension. Is this true?

>nd because I don't know anything about used car sales I did not get a title, just a bill of sale. So you will need a title bond through your insurance company. I checked out the VIN and it is not stolen or salvaged. Otherwise, she's great for parts and whatnot if you wish. I've taken care of her, replaced the radiator and all the hoses about 9 months ago. She's been a really dependable little thing and has been my daily driver for over a year.
