Thinking about replacing my recently wrecked car with a 2010 RX-8.
No, the accident wasn't my fault and strangely enough was doing the speed limit.
In b4 'Get a BRZ/FRS', test drove these two along with the Rex, and the rotary left me with a smile and boner.

Anyone into RC cars here? Looking for something relatively cheap (less than $300) to dick around with in the field behind my house and maybe play around with at the local off-road RC track.
How are the Tamiya TT-01/TT-02? I like all the different body styles available, really considering pic related. If there's anything better for a similar price I'll look into it. And what about remotes, there are a ton and I don't know what's good.

Traxxas Slash is what you need. The rally cars completely suck for bashing. You will be greatly disappointed. Been there, done that. You need ground clearance, and the Slash is perfect. And probably the most durable RC's out there besides the monster truck, T Maxx/ E Maxx.

Hey /o/, I need some help. I am looking to get a second car but face a challenge I haven't thought of. I want a fun (ish) 2 door, preferably convertible/ttop...but I have 2 kids under 3 in car seats. Both forward facing.
Now they wouldn't be in my car all the time, my wife has a yukon for the normal family stuff. This will be a back up to her and my primary.
I am considering f body's, mustangs (94 to 2004), volvo c70, toyota solaras, and saabs. I wanted a clk mercedes but their reliability scared me away, much the same as all sebrings.
I heard that f bodies are bad because the buckets are shaped too deep.
So /o/, the tldr: 2+2 that can fit car seats.

How critical is it to replace a bad valve cover gasket?
The engine is covered in oil, but I haven't really noticed a drop in the oil level and nothing is getting onto the ground.
Can it wait until after winter?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing an old '72 Honda Z600 AKA 600 and putting a motorcycle engine in it. The only problem is the 70's 600's are FWD and I guess making it RWD would be a huge pain and not worth the effort. As you can tell, I'm no expert on mechanics... Any suggestions? I love the way these little cars look and having a better engine in it than the stock engine would be awesome.
