hey /o/ get ready for the most autistic story you've ever read.
about a week ago i am driving home from school with some friends. we stop at a speedway and get some brisks. the tards i call friends start running to the car to get in the front seat. one kid was too slow and he tried to get in by the rear door but did something to my handle and now my door wont open from the outside. so today im not doing anything so i go to fix it. but then i discover that little white lever thing for kids so it doesn't open from the inside. i press it down to see what it does. and no my rear door wont open from the outside or inside. someone please help me.
pic not my car. but the lever thing is the same
Nice turtle op
Could be frozen
Put a space heater inside the car (close to the door), leave it on for a few hours and then check on it
>tfw no snow
Is this a good deal? I've got enough to hand over cash for it, but I'd probably try coming in slightly lower.
I'd be using it as my DD and want something roomy and with good em-pee-gees.
it has a dirty title what the fuck is wrong with you? no that is not a good deal that car is literally trash someone is trying to pass off to a fool. and for nearly 6k. holy hell anon.
>>14133639
>$4950
>nearly 6k
What
>rebuilt title
lolno
Unless they can detail the repairs and back it up with itemized receipts, even then it's still iffy.
I wouldn't waste my money.
How do I shine up the roof and make it look new again?
>>14133573
Brake fluid.
Pigment is gone from the paint due to sun damage, red is the worst for that.
Respray.
You repaint it faget. I bet you're that retard with the failed clear coat who posted the other day.
will a road car ever break the sound barrier?
>>14133468
well with 3000hp+ v8 twin turbos i dont think it will be long
>muh veyron
nope its too heavy
>>14133468
You'd need some mad aero to keep it from disintegrating.
>>14133477
how mad are we talking?
just left a note under windscreen wiper on a car that i want to buy with my number
is that creepy? how would you react?
for my defense it's a pretty rare car and no one is selling it around me
note was (in different language tho)
"Hello, I allowed myself to left a note to express my will of buying this little citroen. If you'll be willing to sell this car, please call this number xxx-xxx-xxx
Anon"
didn't get a call :^)
not really creepy, but I guess the person didn't want to sell his car
From the owner's perspective it's irritating. Growing up my dad had a 73 Dodge Challenger and people were always leaving notes and knocking on our door asking if he was interested in selling it. Needless to say it was annoying. I imagine it still happens, I just don't live there anymore.
>>14133464
What the fuck, that's a thing?
So, the contract on my current car is coming up in a few months (inb4 >finance ) and I've got the ability to buy outright now.
I've got a budget of about £10k - I'd like something that's entertaining to drive - I'm not massively concerned about practicality as my commute is only 7 miles each way and I don't often have more than one passenger.
What should I be looking at? I'm a britbong and the choice in my area is quite small so I'll probably have to travel for a good deal.
Get a used Morgan or Defender. It's what I'd do if I lived in the UK.
>>14133208
Nice idea - I love the Morgan look but they're pricey as hell and don't look easy or affordable to maintain.
Get a VW GTI. You will want something with a turbo since you will be short tripping it in the winter and a turbo will steam away that crankcase condensation.
What was so great about the Northstar V8?

Hey guys, Just bought a 2010 camaro 2ss with a 6 spd..wanting to make it a drag car hoping to get at least 650hp to the wheels..any ideas what to do? i've never worked with a camaro before..Also general Drag car thread/ horsepower freak thread
>buying a car that is literally slower than a 20 year old civic
>>14132617
You dun goofed m8. 2010 camaros were shit.
>>14132658
Mine is going in a straight line, no turns involved your argument is invalid
I'll be going out tomorrow go look at some used cars. This will be my first cad purchase. I have a hard limit of 6000 USD. I've been looking at some Toyota yaris models, there are a few 09s with about 76000miles to 100000miles on them and was wondering what /o/ thinks? Right now I drive a scion xb 06 manual with 230000 miles on it.
>>14132311
>yaris
Is gud car
can;t really go wrong it's essentially a corolla I think just a different style
Any huge differences between standard and automatic? I love driving stick, but there's a really good deal on an automatic transmission one.
Show off the shitbox that you deliver in

Where abouts in BC are ya?
Also, you deliver with the 1UZ, how bad are your emmpeegees? and do you fuel with premium?
I've been considering dayling an LS400, I might be driving from Mission to the lower mainland everyday.
How reliable would a 2002 MR2 be?
And why the fuck are these dudes on cl selling em for 3600ish a pop? They look to be ok condition, but kbb is like 7-8k.
>>14132084
Chances are engines are fucked. There's a common swap with another toyota engine for these that supposed to make them god machines.
Snap oversteer and poor handling despite being "muh MR" format.
>>14132084
Problem with precats getting sucked back into the engine.
Compression test is mandatory if past 60k miles

This guy has brain damage
I got my car from my father 2 years ago when he gave it to me as a parting gift to college. 4th of july 2015 i got shitfaced with my family. My dad got super drunk, and when i passed out my father had a spare key made to may car so he could reclaim it if i dropped out of school to make sure i would stay in class, turns out he wrecks it into a tree and ive been commuting on the bus for the last half of the year. I decided to not sue, considering he bought the car and he was my father (plus he was in the hospital for 2 months after) so for christmas he proposed to buy me a used car in reasonable price range. I checked out the sticky but its really hard to decide because i cant find any im interested in. What would /o/ choose for a 21 year old, part time employed, full time scholar? Im not looking for "oh nice!" im looking for durable, long lasting, and wont kill me in a car crash (but it shouldn't look like shit) Anyone care to help?
>between 3k-6k

>>14132054
Shut the fuck up and buy a civic
>>14132081
